Like Stars We Rise

By Natascha Merveille Bope
What if the true purpose of our existence is to shine as bright as the stars in the universe? What exactly can we do to release what no longer serves us & live happier and healthier lives? I am Natascha Merveille B. aka @merveille_the_artist and I like to discuss topics that help to promote mental health and spiritual growth. As a painter I quickly learned about the power of symbols and how images can have a direct effect on our emotional well-being but I also understand the importance of vocal expression and communication. It is my goal to share information & to inspire along the way.

#2 No You're Not A Bad Person, You Just Don't Know How To Give Love
In this episode, I talk about how the lack of compassion for oneself can affect interpersonal relationships. I would sometimes find myself in situations, where I was giving so much of myself away hoping to express the love that is within me. However, in the end everything I did was either too much or not enough. And I would also find myself in situations, where I was holding back so much of myself so that I was perceived as someone who is very distant. I went from one extreme to another. I wanted to know how that can be and what I discovered is that it all comes down to one thing: Being authentic. #1 The First Person You Must Forgive Is Yourself
This episode is about forgiveness and self-love, because recently I have been thinking a lot about the act of self-sabotage and why it seems so hard to go after what we want sometimes. The main reason is, that we tend to focus our attention on a voice in our heads, which would simply not allow that we feel good about who we are or what we have to offer. But what if we could realize, that we don’t have to identify ourselves with that discouraging voice? What if we can somehow neutralize what we think is negative and create something new. Something like positivity, encouragement and self-love. How can we create new thought patterns to live happier lives? “Old habits die hard" they say, but does this have to be the truth?
