Linden Pride Walks

Erika Mahone was a Social Work Supervisor with the Columbus CARE Coalition at Columbus Public Health. The Columbus CARE Coalition's goal is to provide trauma support and education to all Columbus residents, with a special focus on Linden, South Side, and Hilltop neighborhoods. 

In this episode, Pastor Vince Ford shares his story and path to discovering Affiliations. Pastor Ford relocated to Columbus from Texas to lead Christ of Genessee Avenue church in South Linden and immediately began reaching out to connect with people and organizations who shared his passions. His passion and commitment to Linden is deeply rooted in affiliations and community inclusion. 

In this episode, Stephanie Scales-Kaba shares her story and path to discovering Self-Esteem. Stephanie overcame her adverse childhood experiences (ACES), beat chemical dependency and now serves as treasurer of her church, an independent Licensed Social Worker (LSW), and a mentor to so many who have traveled a similar path. 

In this episode, Kameron Bray shares his story and path to discovering Positive Safe Adults. As the CEO and Founder of Brainiac LLC, Kameron works as a life coach and provides mentoring to children at East Linden Elementary School and several other schools in the Columbus area. 

The stresses of life could have certainly prevented Savannah Rowell from graduating high school. An unstable home environment meant she needed to Find External Support to mitigate the stresses complicating her young life. 

Michelle Jamison exudes Autonomy in her ability to use her voice. Michelle is a natural connector, people-person, and has the ability to form relationships quickly with others, listen to what they need, and use her voice to advocate for their needs. Michelle is a South Linden Area Commissioner, a former Neighborhood Intervention Specialist at St. Stephen's Community House, and is now the Linden Outreach Worker for the Columbus CARE Coalition.
