Cellphone with the Team Behind the Film

Cellphone with the Team Behind the Film

Cellphone is a new independent horror/mystery/drama releasing today on VOD. Be sure to look it up and check it out. From IMDb: Wynne, who is suffering PTSD from the death of her fiancé, starts seeing disturbing images on her cell phone about her future. If she doesn't figure them out in time, she will die.

I had the pleasure of interviewing director Luke Sommer, writer/producer Rachel Sommer, and stars Whitney Rose Pynn, Justin Malik Jackson, and Jared Noble.

Cellphone Cocktail:

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces gin
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 1/2 ounce egg white (optional)
  • Garnish: Angostura bitters

Directions

  1. Add gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white, if using, to a shaker, and dry-shake for 30 seconds without ice.
  2. Add ice and shake again for 15–20 seconds, until well-chilled.
  3. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice, or into a coupe without ice.
  4. Garnish with 3–4 drops of Angostura bitters.

Cellphone Drinking Game:

Drink when...

  • you see a cell phone.
  • when the phone goes off.
  • Liam shows up.
  • Chris shows up uninvited.
  • Wynne is startled or scared of something.

Take a shot when...

  • Bob calls.

Executive Decision

Executive Decision

I love this film! I usually don't pick what we are watching, but I did for this episode. I have been wanting to record over Executive Decision since I started the podcast. I miss the 90s and I feel like that decade had the best thrillers, of course also so many other amazing things. I just now found out that this film was Stuart Baird's directorial debut, good for him, he did a fantastic job. If you don't know, the synopsis for this film is...when terrorists hijack a plane traveling from Greece to Washington, D.C., U.S. Army specialist David Grant (Kurt Russell) and Lt. Colonel Austin Travis (Steven Seagal) join forces to bring the plane to safety. While terrorists on board the plane claim they hijacked the plane to force the U.S. government to release their leader, who was captured by military forces, David and Austin discover that the plane is carrying a bomb full of nerve gas to be released on Washington, D.C. The film is available to rent on Prime for $2.99, of course you might be able to buy the DVD or Blu-ray for the same price.

747 Cocktail (cocktail-stack.netlify.app):
Ingredients

1 oz Vodka
1 oz Roses sweetened lime juice
1 oz Cranberry Juice
Sprite
Cranberries or Limes

Directions

Fill a Collins glass with ice.
Pour in vodka, lime cordial, and cranberry juice.
Fill up with Sprite.
Garnish with a Lime wheel or some cranberries.

Drinking Game (reeldrinkinggame.com):
Drink every time

There is a wide shot of the plane

The Righteous Gemstones (S3E1-3)

The Righteous Gemstones (S3E1-3)

This is hands down one of my favorites shows of all time, if you have watched it, then you know why. If you haven't watched the show, I would encourage you to do so, but remember that this is a satire on mega churches, key word being satire. Season three takes place after Eli's semi-retirement and Jesse, Judy, and Kelvin have taken over the church. I've been a fan since it started in 2019, last year I was in a zoom call with Tim Baltz as part of the ATX TV Membership, and this year the ATX TV Festival premiered season 3 at the festival. Sadly I didn't get to take any pictures of the panelists (they had signs telling us not to or we'd be kicked out, but me being on the front row, I didn't see that everyone else ignored and took pics) and I wasn't able to get any interviews, but hopefully one day I will get to interview some of the cast.

If anyone from the show happens to see this, I have an amazing idea for a spin-off. This isn't just any spin-off and I wouldn't pitch the idea to you guys if I didn't actually think it was good. Putting it out into the world that someone from the show will see this and reach out.

Bramble (luxexpose.com):

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Mulholland Gin
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons simple syrup
  • 50 oz creme de mure (blackberry liqueur)

Directions

  1. Shake chilled & fine strain into an old-fashioned glass over crushed ice.
  2. Slowly pour creme de mure over the top of the drink.
  3. Garnish with a lemon half-wheel and blackberry or raspberry speared together with a garnish pick.

Drinking Game (reddit and some of my own):

Drink when...

  • Any variation of Uncle Baby Billy is said
  • Billy talks about money
  • Aimee-Leigh statue shown
  • Keefe shown lost in thought
  • Keefe compliments Kelvin
  • Kelvin mentions his diet
  • Kelvin helps to make someone look shitty at post church buffet
  • Judy says something horny
  • Judy references her own talent
  • BJ clearly attempts to assimilate
  • Jesse lies
  • Jesse gives bad advice to his kids
  • Gideon clearly shown feeling shame/remorse
  • Jesse, Judy or Kelvin confront or call out Eli
  • Eli scolds Jesse, Judy or Kelvin
  • Gemstone gate shown
  • Private jet shown
  • Beginning of any sanctuary scene
  • Someone says "Brother Pastor" or "Sister Pastor"
  • Anyone says something and end it with amen, something that's not for prayer
  • You feel bad for BJ
  • It takes you a minute to recognize a guest star
  • You recognize a guest star.
  • You realize something from the show was based off of a real thing

Good Burger

Good Burger

With the sequel releasing on November 22nd on Paramount+, we had to cover Good Burger! Good Burger is available to stream on Paramount+ as well as Tubi, so go check it out. Nickelodeon was the best back in the 90s and you can't change my mind on that. It was so much better than it is now. I still think Nickelodeon, and I guess Paramount and Viacom, need to have "fun runs" based on our favorite shows from Nick like Legends of the Hidden Temple, GUTS, and Double Dare.

Ed's Sauce (alcohollywood.com):

Ingredients

  • 3 parts vodka
  • 1 part silver tequila
  • Dash, cherry bitters
  • 1 small McDonald’s strawberry milkshake
  • 4oz orange soda

Directions

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Pour into a Collins glass and garnish with whipped cream, a cherry and a lime.

Drinking Game (tvtropes.org):

Drink when...

  • either Ed or Kurt say their character catchphrase.
  • something of Mr. Wheat's gets destroyed.
  • Kurt speaks in the third person.
  • the word "burger" is said.
  • Ed acts Literal-Minded.
  • Ed ends a statement with a clueless "Huh!/Hah!" or some variation thereof.

Bonus drinking game:

  • During the Grape Nose Boy scene, take a shot for each "bloobity".

Badly Described Movie Plots

The VelociPastor

First things first, congratulations for making a movie, it's really hard work and you obviously have a passion for it. I got a text from Danielle saying that we should record over The VelociPastor and I just said ok, we did have a great time recording, but maybe I should rethink this whole idea of not choosing what we are watching. This night was something, not sure what, but it was something. This film is not done very well, you will hear everything in the podcast episode, but also it's quite entertaining. I was telling another friend that we recorded over this film and he asked if it was a film so bad you should see it or so bad you shouldn't waste your time, and my response was maybe a little bit of both. Yes, it is an hour and fifteen minutes of my life I will not get back, but also not the worst movie I've ever seen and I did laugh out loud on more than one occasion. Watch at your own risk, and it's available to stream on tubi, Roku, FreeVee, Vudu, and Plex for free. I still don't know why he was a T-Rex and not a Velociraptor. The VelociPastor Plot: After losing his parents, a priest travels to China, where he inherits a mysterious ability that allows him to turn into a dinosaur. Although he is horrified by the new power, a sex worker convinces him to use it to fight crime. Raptor Cocktail (reallyareyouserious.com): Ingredients 1 oz vodka 1/2 oz rum 1/2 oz Midori 1/2 oz Blue Curacao 2 oz club soda 2 oz Lemon Arizona Iced Tea 1 squeeze juice of lemon Directions Mix the vodka, rum, Midori, and Blue Curacao in shaker. Shake to combine.  Pour into an "on the rocks" glass filled with ice.  Add club soda.  Top off with Lemon Arizona Iced Tea  Squeeze the lemon into the drink.  ENJOY Drinking Game (Twitter & Reddit): Drink when... any part of Doug transforms. there's a flashback. there's a montage. any bad effects/acting for classic superhero beats. and if you want an extra challenge, drink anytime someone says "father". KillHer with Special Guests Tom Kiesche, Robyn August, & Rick Rifle

KillHer with Special Guests Tom Kiesche, Robyn August, & Rick Rifle

Before you listen to this episode, go watch the film. You can buy or rent it from your favorite streaming platform, but I would recommend buying it over renting. I was able to watch KillHer last year as part of Screamfest and it was one of my favorites that I watched. It finally worked out to have an interview and it was a lot of fun talking to Tom, Robyn, and Rick. Tom wrote, produced, and starred in the film, Robyn directed the film, and Rick was the production designer.

According to IMDb (which there is a rating of 8.9 for the film), the synopsis for Killher is Mattie and her friends go on a weekend trip to the woods to plan Mattie's wedding, settled near the camp of Mr. Rogers, and with no phone signal, their trip starts to turn into a bad idea when they start dying and a secret is revealed.

Themed Cocktails:

Rick's Cocktail: Scout's Honor from Bigfoot Lodge

Ingredients

  • 1 fluid ounce vodka
  • 1 fluid ounce creme de cocao
  • 1 fluid ounce creme de menthe
  • 1 fluid ounce Irish cream liqueur
  • 1 mint leaf

Directions

  1. Pour the vodka, creme de cocao liqueur, creme de menthe, and Irish cream into a cocktail shaker over ice.
  2. Cover, and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted.
  3. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a mint leaf to serve.

Tom's Cocktail: A Bloody Mary

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon sea salt, or as needed
  • ice cubes, as needed
  • ¾ cup spicy tomato-vegetable juice cocktail
  • 1.5 ounce vodka
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash Tabasco
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 2 garlic-stuffed green olives, threaded onto a toothpick
  • 1 pickle

Directions

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Pour salt onto a small plate. Moisten the rim of a glass and press into the salt. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  3. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes; add vegetable juice cocktail, vodka, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, salt, and pepper. Cover and shake until the outside of shaker has frosted, about 20 seconds.
  4. Strain Bloody Mary into the prepared glass. Garnish with celery stalk and olives. Throw in the pickle for the surprise.

Robyn's Drink: Snake Bite

Ingredients

  • Lager or Stout
  • Cider

Directions

  1. Fill a chilled beer glass halfway full with cider.
  2. Top the cider with choice of beer—preferably lager or stout—and serve.

KillHer Drinking Rules:

Hayride to Hell with Director Dan Lantz

Hayride to Hell with Director Dan Lantz

Hayride to Hell is about how a small town farmer exacts his bloody revenge on unscrupulous town folk who try to steal his land. It's director by Dan Lantz, who I got to interview, written by Kristina Chadwick and Robert Lange, and stars Bill Moseley (The Devil's Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses), Kane Hodder (Jason Vorhees himself from many Friday the 13th films and Victor Crowley from the Hatchet franchise), and Graham Wolfe.

This is a fun and campy horror film that I really enjoyed as part of Screamfest this year. Please go check it out at your local theater.

Hayride to Hell Cocktail:

Ingredients

  • 1/2 ounce (or 1 oz if you use syrup) Amaretto
  • 1/2 ounce pumpkin vodka or 1 ounce pumpkin spice syrup
  • 1 shot espresso
  • 4 ounces of steamed milk (or cold milk if you use ice)

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a coffee mug and top with fresh whipped cream.
  2. Sprinkle with pumpkin spice and serve hot or over ice.

Hayride to Hell Drinking Game:

Drink when...

  • Bud says, "Now that's what I'm talking about."
  • Karen does a "Karenism".
  • Nixler does a goofy look.

Play It By Ear with Emily Ann Zisko

Play It By Ear with Emily Ann Zisko

One of the web series that I was able to watch as part of this year's Hollyshorts Film Festival was Play It By Ear. Emily Ann Zisko is the co-writer. co-director, and lead actress for this web series. Emily actually found me on Instagram and sent me the link to watch all of the episode, which you can watch on YouTube, and the show was great. Go check it out, here is the link: Play It By Ear

Jungle Juice for Episodes 1-3 (https://www.staysnatched.com/jungle-juice-recipe/):

Ingredients

  • 1 pound strawberries, sliced in half
  • 750ML bottle of rum
  • 1 gallon lemonade
  • 750ML bottle of vodka (I recommend Western Son, you could even use one of their flavors)
  • 1/2 gallon orange juice
  • 1/2 gallon fruit punch
  • 16 oz cranberry juice
  • 2 oranges, sliced
  • 1-2 cups club soda optional

Directions

  1. Add the sliced strawberries to the bottom of a beverage dispenser or punch bowl.
  2. Then pour in all of the liquor and juices and stir.
  3. Toss in the sliced oranges. You can also add in any additional fruit that you wish.
  4. Top with club soda.
  5. For best results, allow the punch to sit for up to 12 hours/overnight. You want the fruit to soak up the liquor.

Notes

  • Makes a little over 2 gallons/2 1/2 gallons of punch.
  • I also used fresh lemons to garnish the punch. This is optional and you can use whatever fruit you wish.

Scotch or Martini for Episodes 4-6 (https://www.foodandwine.com/recipes/martini-cocktails-2009):

Scotch

  • Scotch is best served at room temperature. Add water, if desired, little by little to your taste. If you do prefer cold scotch however, fill your glass with ice rather than adding one or two cubes. More ice will keep your scotch chilled, without diluting it too much.

Martini Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ ounces dry gin (such as Hayman’s)
  • 1 ounce dry vermouth (such as Dolin)
  • 3 dashes Angostura orange bitters
  • 1 lemon twist, for garnish
  • 1 olive (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Place a martini glass in the freezer. Skewer olives on cocktail pick, and make the lemon twist. Fill a small sidecar bowl with ice for garnishes to sit on.
  2. Combine bitters, vermouth, and gin in a mixing glass filled with ice. Fill glass with ice and stir rapidly. Continue adding ice and stirring until the additional ice has been submerged within the cocktail.
  3. Strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass. Express the lemon twist over the cocktail. Place expressed lemon twist and three skewered olives on the ice-filled sidecar. Serve immediately.

Play it By Ear Drinking Rules:

Carly Reeves from Claim to Fame

Carly Reeves joins me this week as we discuss her short-lived time on Claim to Fame. If you don't know, Carly is related to Tom Hanks by marriage, her aunt in Rita Wilson. I really enjoyed chatting with her, she's very kind, fun, and doesn't hold back. We talk about so much, including the meltdown, so enjoy the episode.

  • ice
  • optional: lime wedge and salt for rimming the glass

Directions

  1. If you would like salt-rimmed glasses, begin by running a lime slice (the juicy part) around the top rim of a glass.  Fill a shallow bowl with salt, and dip the rim in the salt until it is covered with your desired amount of salt.  Set aside.
  2. Add mezcal, lime juice and Cointreau to a cocktail shaker, and shake or stir until combined.  Taste, and if you would like it to be sweeter (most people do!), stir in a half teaspoon of agave or simple syrup until the mix reaches your desired level of sweetness.
  3. Fill glass with ice.  Pour in the margarita mixture over the rocks.  Serve immediately, garnished with an extra lime wedge if desired.

This was a first, I actually recorded over a film that is still in theaters, so be aware of spoilers. According to IMDb, the series centers on Julio Lopez, a punk-ass bitch with a heart of gold who goes out of his way to help everyone but himself. Big Name B*tches with Christy Carlson Romano and Anneliese van Der Pol

Big Name B*tches with Christy Carlson Romano and Anneliese van Der Pol

I had the pleasure of sitting down with two more big Disney stars, Christy Carlson Romano (Even Stevens, Kim Possible) and Anneliese van der Pol (That's So Raven, Raven's Home) and it was a great interview. Christy and her husband, Brendan Rooney, started PodCo, a podcast network, and they have so many great podcasts on their network and have a lot more coming your way. Christy and Anneliese are starting a new podcast called Big Name B*tches and we talk about the podcast and many other things. Hopefully we can get together soon and do an actual Line Drunk episode with mocktails and chat about more tv or movies. Check out the drink name, I searched for a cocktail with the longest name to go with the theme.

PodCo's Wizards of Waverly Place with David DeLuis and Jennifer Stone

PodCo's Wizards of Waverly Place with David DeLuis and Jennifer Stone

David and Jennifer were so much fun to talk to! I really do hope we can make a crossover episode happen. These two have a really good connection and it shows, not every podcast or tv show can have that kind of flow and bond. Be sure to check out their podcast on your favorite streaming platform and enjoy this interview. I normally try to find a cocktail that matches the show, while there are several wizard theme cocktails, I figured I would do an old fashioned as the themed drink since Jennifer said she was a whiskey girl and it was one of her go-to drinks, but this one is a bit different.

Smoked Old Fashioned (spicedblog.com):

Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 tsp maple syrup can use simple syrup
  • 3 dashes Black Walnut bitters (can use 3 dashes Angostura bitters)
  • 2 ” piece of orange peel

  1. Using a mixing glass, add bourbon, maple syrup and bitters. Add ice and stir until well combined.
  2. Strain mixture into bar glass over ice.
  3. Hold the orange peel over glass and twist. Rub orange peel around the rim of the glass and drop peel into drink. (Optional: Using a kitchen torch or match, lightly toast the exterior portion of the orange peel before twisting.)
  4. Place cocktail under a smoking dome and use a smoking gun to add smoke.
  5. Let cocktail sit for 2-4 minutes before removing dome. Enjoy!

Wizards of Waverly Pod Drinking Rules:

Jennifer's Rules

  • Drink when David brings up anything from his IMDb page.
  • Drink when David says he directed a few episodes of something.
  • Drink when David tells the story of not wanting to do the pilot because he didn't get enough money.
  • Drink when David name drops.

David's Rules

  • Drink when someone repeats themselves.
  • When he says "Disney".

Continuing with the interviews at the ATX TV Festival this week, I have the three lead actors from season 2 of Cruel Summer, Lexi Underwood (Isabella LaRue), Griffin Gluck (Luke Chambers), and Sadie Stanley (Megan Landry). This season has a new cast and a new mystery to solve and takes place in the Y2K era, July of '99, December of '99, and July of '00. It's full of amazing music, fashion, and a lot of drinking beer. The show is also produced by none other than Jessica Biel, along with Bill Purple and Michelle Purple. I have really enjoyed this season so far, especially the music and the nostalgia from '99/'00, so go check the show out on Hulu, Freeform, or ABC.

Cruel Summer Cocktail (elletalk.com):

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce of White Rum
  • 1/2 ounce of Strawberry Syrup
  • 1/2 ounce of Lemon Juice

Directions

  1. Rest a bar spoon into a rock glass and fill with ice.
  2. Add in your white rum, strawberry syrup, lemon juice, and coconut sparkling water.
  3. Give it a stir with your bar spoon to combine the ingredients.
  4. Remove spoon and serve.

Drinking Rules From the Cast:

Lexi Underwood (Isabella LaRue):

  • Drink when Freddy says something stupid.
  • Drink when Brent creeps you out.
  • Drink when an N'SYNC song pops up.

Griffin Gluck (Luke Chambers):

  • Drink when there's a 90's/00's reference you don't understand.
  • Drink when the "Cruel Summer" close-up (camera pushes in really high and tight) happens.

Sadie Stanley (Megan Landry):

  • Drink anytime someone takes their shirt off.
  • Drink anytime Freddy or Tim say something gross.
  • Drink anytime anyone says "Ride or Die".
  • Drink anytime you see the "Cruel Summer" close-up.
  • Chug your drink anytime Megan makes a toast.

  2. Pour juice into a glass.

  • you see the Voto Booth.

Quick Interviews with Attendees at the ATX TV Festival Season 13

Quick Interviews with Attendees at the ATX TV Festival Season 13

Hello TV Campers, which is something the co-founders of the festival love to say and call the attendees. I have been attending the festival since season 2 when I saw that there would be a Boy Meets World reunion and I had a fantastic time. I have learned a few things over the years from attending, like don't dress nice, it's Austin and it is hot, so dress comfortably and cool. Also stay hydrated, this year I even brought Liquid IVs to help, which was great since I drank a lot every day, thanks Vacancy Brewing. I also used to carry more things around, now I don't. Be in the moment and enjoy the panels! Enjoy the time with the friends you have made at the festival over the years, and make new ones. This year I was able to get a few interviews from amazing panelists at the festival and I can't wait for you to hear them in the coming weeks. I highly encourage you to look into this festival and also look into the membership program, which I sometimes enjoy more (sorry, not sorry). The membership program is amazing, one of the co-founders, Emily, and then the director of operations, Laura, are always fun to chat with and bring in some amazing guests throughout the year. The membership also has a slack channel and all of the members chat daily and made being at the festival and seeing everyone in person so much more amazing.

Themed Cocktail:

So I don't have any specific cocktail for this episode, but you can do what I did for these interviews, grab some of your favorite shooters and enjoy them while listening to the interviews. Or drink some bourbon in honor of co-founder Emily.

Drinking Game:

Drink when...

  • a show you watch is mentioned.
  • your favorite cocktail is mentioned.

A Conversation with Tyler Jacob Moore

A Conversation with Tyler Jacob Moore

Tyler Jacob Moore is currently on the Hallmark original show, Ride (also available on Peacock), but you might recognize him shows like GCB, Shameless, or Barry. According to Hallmark, "Ride is a multigenerational family ensemble following the lives of the McMurrays, part of a rodeo dynasty going back a generation, as they struggle to keep their beloved ranch afloat. After a tragic loss, each character embarks on an empowering journey of transformation and self-discovery while also uncovering a twisted web of secrets, threatening to tear the family and their small Colorado town apart at the seams. Starring Nancy Travis, Tiera Skovbye, Beau Mirchoff, Sara Garcia, Jake Foy and Tyler Jacob Moore." It's a great show, so go check it out. He was fun to chat with and so kind. GCB is how I came to know who he was, which you should find this show and watch it, from his portrayal of Pastor John Tudor.

Cocktails:

Ranch Water (https://dinewithdrinks.com/best-western-themed-cocktails)

Ingredients

  • Ice
  • Topo Chico
  • Blanco Tequila
  • Lime Juice

Directions

  1. Pour lime juice and tequila in a glass and give it a stir. I like adding the liquid in first so you can combine them before topping with the mineral water.
  2. Add ice to the glass and fill to the top.
  3. Top with Topo Chico and add slice of lime for garnish.

Berry Bourbon Lemonade (https://www.crowdedkitchen.com/berry-bourbon-lemonade-pitcher-cocktail/):

Ingredients

  • Bourbon
  • Lemon Juice, about 12-14 large lemons
  • Chambord or another Raspberry Liqueur
  • Blackberries and Raspberries (fresh or frozen)
  • Agave nectar (you could also sub with simple syrup)
  • Water
  • Sparkling water or club soda (berry-flavored sparkling water or plain club soda)
  • Mint leaves and fresh berries

Directions

  1. Heat the water and agave in a saucepan over medium heat. The idea for this cocktail is to make a berry syrup with the blackberries and raspberries.
  2. Add the berries and bring to a boil. Stir well and turn off the heat. Let the mixture sit for 20-25 minutes, then strain through a fine mesh sieve. Use a spoon to press as much juice out of the berries as possible.
  3. Add the bourbon, lemon juice, Chambord and berry agave mixture to a large pitcher. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  4. Add sparkling water/club soda just before serving! You can either add it straight to the pitcher, or top off each individual drink.
  5. Optional: garnish with fresh berries and mint.

Ride Drinking Game:

Drink when...

  • anyone rides an animal
  • there's a fight or an argument

Rat Race

Rat Race

"Life is nothing, It's a nothing, Life is nothing but a slap in the face, Life is nothing, It's a nothing, Life is nothing but a fat rat race, Ooh yeah yeah, ooh yeah yeah..."
This movie is so funny and I had forgotten so many scenes until I rewatched it again for the podcast. I did see this in theaters and I still have my ticket stub for it. So when I see movies, I save my ticket stubs like most people, but if I end up buying the movie I put the stub in the back of the case so you can see it. Anyway, this movie has an amazing cast and so well written. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend checking it out. You can stream it on Paramount+ and on Pluto TV.

Pink Squirrel Cocktail (snappygourmet.com):
Ingredients

2 cups of Vanilla Ice Cream
2 Tbsp. of Crème de Cacao
2 Tbsp. of Crème de Noyaux
Garnish (optional): whipped cream and maraschino cherries

Directions

Place the Crème de Cacao, Crème de Noyaux, and ice cream in a blender. Process just until smooth and fully mixed.
Pour into glasses. Top with whipped cream/topping, maraschino cherries, and paper straws as desired.

Drinking Game (drunkenme.com):

Disney & Pixar Music Quiz

Disney & Pixar Music Quiz

This is the season 5 finale! The music quizzes have done well for me, so why not do one more. This is all about Disney and Pixar movies!!! Can you get them all correct, Danielle didn't, she only got 18 out of 40. Disney and Pixar have created so many wonderful films that both young and old love! What are some of your favorites? I love Toy Story, I think it's my top Disney/Pixar film, it's still a classic. Anyway, enjoy the short episode and play along.

Fun Wheel Cocktail (savvymamalifestyle.com):

Ingredients

  • 4 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 2 oz White or Coconut Rum
  • 1 oz Water
  • 1 oz Grenadine
  • 1 oz Blue Curacao
  • Ice

Directions

  1. Pour grenadine syrup into a hurricane or pint glass.
  2. Using a shot glass, measure out the other ingredients. A shot glass usually holds 2oz. Fill the entire glass with ice.
  3. In a separate cup, mix pineapple juice and rum.
  4. In another cup, mix water and blue curacao.
  5. Pour the pineapple juice/rum mixture into the glass with the grenadine syrup.
  6. Pour the blue curacau mixture into the glass on top of that very very slowly - it helps to use a spoon. Garnish with an umbrella or lemon slice - or both!

Drinking Game:

Drink when...

  • you get one wrong. Good luck.
