As a conference wound down, the ideas increased and I took advantage of time with dear friends and new friends, rather than podcasting. This weekend we say goodbye to two fabulous ladies, and aunt on my side and on and on my husband side. I am thankful to have families that celebrate family and life, and to know our aunts are stars sparkling in the sky, as angels of God.

Today can be a day of busyness as one travels and bakes and prepares for company to come or to travel to the company. Remember to slow down and take time to enjoy your company enjoy your family and take time for yourself.
A lot of times Thanksgiving as nearly a crossover between fall and Christmas yet Thanksgiving as a joyous time of year, I hope you will slow down and enjoy it.
When we go to work, it shouldn’t be a struggle. Get to know the people you work with better, outside of work and it will improve your work environment.
We have a choice and if we can exists and go through the motions and do that list or we can pause the list and take advantage of the opportunity to spend time with those that we love and care about.
We all need to remember our veterans and say thank you, they are all wounded but we’re not able to see the emotional, spiritual, and mental wounds inflicted.

As I prepare to head to the Mohawk Valley reading Council presentation, I want to thank all the reading councils in New York State and across the country.
After spending an evening with my daughter at her college I’m driving home reflecting on the role shift that’s happening, I wanted to share the importance of being a parent first, then a friend. Always a parent, but at some point the relationship starts to shift. Either way, parenting is the greatest and most challenging role will play in this world.
We all have struggles and trouble, the first step is to take control of our circle of control, ourselves, and when you do - you’ll be like a stone going in the water and have a ripple effect, making a difference. You are an overcomer!
