The Dead Daisies welcome back singer John Corabi and add bassist Michael Devin. The ship seems to have been righted once again. After parting ways with frontman John Corabi and bassist Marco Mendoza during the summer of 2019, The Dead Daisies recruited lead vocalist / bassist Glenn Hughes to replace the duo.

Eric Hanson has lived in the Dallas area since 1977.  He received his B.A. in Graphic Design from Abilene Christian University in 1994 and designed Web-related graphics for 20 years.  During that time, he also painted residential and commercial murals — 40 in all.

Inspired by the high volume of artwork produced by his then two-year-old daughter Georgia, Eric decided to pursue fine arts in 2009.  When Klyde Warren Park opened in downtown Dallas, Eric and Georgia began making frequent visits. On some occasions, Eric would bring his supplies and do some air painting, which would then generate commissions when he posted them to social media.  Eventually, he started painting more Dallas scenes and, later, other cities as well.  While he often works in the studio and in random coffee shops, Eric is known for riding his bike to Dallas sites and painting on location.

I have always been interested in observing and hearing real human stories. I have never been a follower and always have my own POV, I don't try to fit in, I just am. I am impressed with engaging with people  and giving a platform for stories to be told, lessons to be learned  and understand that different is genius .  To all this misunderstood, this one is for you . Being Ordinary is not special, my hope is to encourage what "society" calls normal takes a shift.

We hope Wendell's story will aide others that may be battling with their own healing journey.  The Outdoor Healing Spirit Today we talk to my guest, Wendell Hall, about his love for nature and his intense understanding of the outdoors from both a passion and technical perspective. This link to the outdoors helped him work through a medical convalescence period in his life. Wendell speaks to how the outdoors was an innate calling from the time he was a kid in urban Indianapolis where there was little access, alternately to a life as an adult where the outdoors became a true passion which drove him to became very skilled in multiple natural environments like California coastal, maintain forests, deserts, and alpine terrain. He had no idea just how pivotal the outdoors would become to help him through the toughest period of his life, that threatened life itself. According to Wendell, he said, “the outdoors became both my motivation and my muse to creatively return to health”. This served as an engine to push him through his recovery, as well as act as the carrot to pull him back to prior levels of functional fitness.
