The definition of joy is a feeling of great pleasure and happiness. One of the synonyms that came up was delight, triumph, and gratification. The biblical definition of joy is delight, to be soft, delicate, and pampered.

Happiness is not joy. Those are two different things.

Joy comes from the Lord and it comes from really...

Trusting God and his word whether it's a personal prophecy, encouraging word, or the word of God written in the bible.

That Joy we get from the Lord helps us to stand in the face of uncertainty, with certainty that God will and has worked it ALL out for good! [Romans 8:28]

God CHOSE Abraham and just like Abraham, God chose YOU!  Abraham is the definition of faith because, within this verse [Genesis 12:1-4 AMPC], God told Abram to leave everything he knows and go where He told him to go in order for Abram to pack up and leave everything that He knows (AS DIRECTED) that is complete undeniable faith in the Lord and believing that the Lord will provide. 

The Abrahamic Anointing COMPLETE Faith; Having all necessary and/or appropriate parts; TOTAL, Absolute: Not Diminished.

Are you willing to obey God, even at the risk of looking crazy, losing everything, and not understanding the instructions?

[Genesis 6:22 NLT] 22 So Noah did everything exactly as God had commanded him.

1. Following God’s will stretches you and makes you uncomfortable, but it is necessary for where he is taking you

2. When you obey God, you show him you trust him and you come into covenant with him

• Faith will cause you to look, act, and sound differently.

• Faith will have you looking crazy to those who don't believe

• Faith will cause you to seek God for everything because you believe he has the answers for all you need and want

• Faith will cause you to look ahead to your bright future, no matter your current circumstances {Jeremiah 29:11}

• Don't Pray from a place of Doubt or Desperation

Faith is the currency of Heaven!!!

Jeremiah 29:11 NLT For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

1. Praying the Will of God, means you must know the word of God
2. You must have the spirit of God (Holy Spirit) to know what to pray for and how to pray
3. You will start to see your prayers answered swiftly when you are in God’s will and in right standing with God (by being obedient)
4. Faith is what moves God - [Hebrews 11:6 NLT] 6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

Don't Worry- Get Lilies and Trust God

How would you feel if God told you not to worry about anything, just sit down somewhere rest, and trust him?

Would you listen?

Would be able to just rest?

Or would wonder about how your bills are going to get paid?

Let's dive deeper into answering these with some "Knowledge Nuggets" from the Lord!

Don't Make Spending Time w/ God Awkward!!!  -We overcomplicate God!  

• What are you seeking God for? 
• Why are you spending time with God? 
• How do you make spending time with God a priority?  
• When do you spend time with God? Who is God to you? 
• Are you enjoying getting to know God?

"You are NO MORE or  NO LESS than who God says you are!"

When I heard this in my spirit while preparing for this teaching, I was like woah, what do you mean God?

You are NO MORE or  NO LESS than who God says you are.- Meaning: If God says you are his fearfully and wonderfully made: [[Psalm 139:14 NIV] 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.]

Why is that not enough?

Why do you seek, desire, and covet validation from others, that DID NOT create you?

Don’t forsake or forget the promise.

Here are some things that will cause us to abandon, give up or disregard  our promises:

1. Fear/Anxiety - [2Timothy 1:7 NLT] 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
2. Worry - [Philippians 4:6 NLT] 6 Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
3. Doubt - [Hebrews 11:6 NLT] 6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
4. Fatigue, Weariness, Impatience- [Galatians 6:9 NLT] 9 So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessings if we don't give up.
5. Compromise/Leaning unto your own understanding/Overthinking - [Proverbs 3:5 NLT] 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.

Here’s how we abandon, give up, or disregard our promises:

1. Being disobedient to God’s instructions
2. Listening to the voice of others over what God has said to us
3. Trying to make “IT” happen outside of the will of God

Would you still feel as passionate about your dreams if no one ever supported you?
