This week on the Live & Love Local podcast, john greene Realtor agent Rachel Jenness sat down with Julie Ryan, the Chief Philanthropy Officer at 360 Youth Services. Serving Naperville and the surrounding areas, 360 Youth Services offers substance abuse prevention education, counseling, and housing to local youth. We talked about the programs they offer, who they serve, and how people can become involved in helping them further their incredible mission. 

This week on the Live & Love Local podcast john greene Realtor agent Elizabeth Gigler at down with Heidi Becker from Warrior Wagons which is a non-profit that provides wagons filled with care and comfort items to families of pediatric cancer patients. Heidi shared how her family started Warrior Wagons in honor of her son Drew whom they tragically lost to cancer in 2017, as well as how recipients are selected and how we can help them further their mission.  

We're back on the Live & Love Local podcast this week with an unreleased episode that we recorded way back in February! john greene Realtor agent Jenn Sereque sat down with Beth Carey from Sharing Connections in Downers Grove to learn more about their mission to make sure everyone has a bed to sleep in and a table to eat at. We planned to have a collection drive for Sharing Connections through the month of March, and you will hear reference to that, but due to the pandemic, we had to pause those plans. 

And, while we're still waiting to reschedule the collection drive, we highly encourage you to donate directly to Sharing Connections to help them furnish hope for those in need. 

On this week's episode of the Live & Love Local podcast, john greene Realtor agent Kim Grant sat down with Debbie Albright and Barbara Zegiel from Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity. We learned more about how Habitat for Humanity serves the community and their upcoming Realtors Unite 2020 Build, for which john greene Realtor will be fundraising!

On this week's super cute new episode of the Live & Love Local podcast, john greene Realtor broker Carrie Foley interviewed Baelyn and Jessica Tanner, the creaters of Cozy Dog Treats. Based right here in Naperville, Baelyn wanted to figure out a way she, as a 7-old-year, could make some money for a trip to Disney World. With the help of her mom Jessica, they have also turned it into a way to help the local community. Be sure to listen to learn more and how you can pick up some of these homemade dog treats for yourself! 

On today's episode of the Live & Love Local podcast, john greene Realtor broker Elizabeth Gigler had the opportunity to speak with Tammy Key who created the Facebook group It's All About the Dress. Pay it Forward. This group offers people from all across the country and beyond a platform to donate and receive formal dresses from people who just simply want to pay it forward. Tammy shared how her idea to donate her own dress turned into this movement of a group of more than 9,000 people who believe in the power of sharing with others. 

On this week's episode of the Live & Love Local podcast, jgR agent Jay Mehra interviewed fellow jgR agents Carrie and Craig Foley who are co-owners of Naperville's newest fitness concept - Row House! Located at 1275 S Naper Blvd in Naperville, Row House offers a variety of classes for those of all fitness levels. Carrie and Craig spoke about what inspired them to enter the fitness industry and what makes Row House stand out among all the options for your fitness routine.

Little Friends is an organization based in Naperville that provides programs and support for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Mike shared more about the services they provide to help individuals and their families, as well as some exciting plans they have for the future!

The organization's mission is to ensure every girl and woman, regardless of finances, is able to attend special events like prom, homecoming, etc. without worrying about the sometimes extensive cost of purchasing a new dress. On this week's episode of the Live & Love Local Podcast, jgR agent Kristina Irvine sat down with Janell Robinson, Executive Director of Hope's Front Door. Janell shared the important work that Hope's Front Door offers residents in DuPage County through their numerous anti-poverty programs, which serve the mission of being a “first responder” to neighbors who are facing financial and/or medical crises. Each program, along with partnerships with their network of social agencies, work to help people restructure their lives long-term and move them out of living a “crisis-to-crisis existence." 

On this week's episode, jgR broker Elizabeth Gigler sat down with Jeff and Lisa Manning from Aurora Yoga Center to learn more about their story! From begrudgingly taking his first yoga class to knowing that he wanted to become an instructor, Army vet Jeff shared how and why he chose yoga was the path he wanted to pursue to help people. From there, Jeff and Lisa first started their yoga studio in their basement and have grown it to where it is today. Jeff also shared advice he was given for how to approach your business and we just know if will be your new mantra! 

In this week's episode, john greene Realtor agent Laura Caldwell sat down with Julie Cunningham of the Naperville Woman's Club. They discussed the mission of the NWC and their upcoming art fair that is celebrating its 60th year this year on Saturday, June 22nd and Sunday, June 23rd! The art fair truly has so much to offer and we were excited for Julie to share more about what visitors can expect to experience!
