Living Lunar

As we move into Full Moon energy this week, I present an introspective look into what emotional growth looks like in practice, allowing that light from the Full Moon to illuminate the path around and in front of me.

The newest episode of Living Lunar is live! I have some thoughts on the numerical rollover from one year to the next and share them in this podcast. We then pulled some cards around those themes, and out of five card, four of them were Wands! We dig a into what that means and look philosophically at important transitional gateways.

I've been working on this episode since last weekend, and apparently the Full Moon cracked me open, and gave me the headspace to put into words a bunch of things that have been swirling around in my head for a while. This episode turned out to be a lot more personal than I expected but I think a lot of valuable thoughts came up for many others too. The quote that stands out for me is:

"Good outcomes can be overwhelming if we feel undeserving of them, and while it can be easier at first to simply not acknowledge them, in my experience this is not a healthy or sustainable response."

In order to bridge the gap between this weekend and the Full Moon happening next weekend, we recorded a bonus episode of Living Lunar. In this episode we use the background of my recorded footsteps to go on a little meditative thought process for a few minutes. I hope you enjoy! We examine our energies under the upcoming December New Moon with the aid of friends and teachers such as the Queen of Pentacles and Judgement. We talk about the thing under the thing and allowing ourselves to truly see and feel what we're bringing with us on the journey. We turn our focus inward and ask how we'll move through the next few weeks and come out stronger.

Episode 9 of Living Lunar has been released! In this one we talk about the changing of the seasons, the clocks Falling back, and the fact that there's a partial eclipse of the moon during the upcoming Full Moon. We pull some Tarot cards to peek into the energies of the timeframe and see how we're living with the moon this go around.

Halloween. A time when the veil is thin. When spirits walk among us and we honor those who have passed on. In this episode we explore these themes and pull Tarot cards for the questions: 1. What do I take with me into the liminal space? 2. What am I leaving behind? 3. What is worthy of my attention? Listen in for my pulls and my perspective on them and the time of year more generally.

We discuss how society makes us feel like we must have done something bad if something goes wrong in our lives, and how perfectionism is a thief of joy.

We talk about the Dark Moon, New Moon, the Equinox and where leaving behind or carrying through with The Chariot interplays with this time of year.

I talk a little about how we can apply our time under the full moon to illuminate those areas of our lives that we don't often look into, and how the cyclical nature of the moon can assist us in this work. I also talk about the Nine of Wands in this context.

I reintroduce myself and the podcast and we talk a little about past and future podcast themes. Then we pull tarot cards, discuss the Full Moon and reflect on the energies of the time and the tarot cards.
