Statistics show that Generation Z has dealt with the more mental illness than any other generation. What could be the cause of this phenomenon and how are Christians responding from a biblical worldview?

Could it be that most Christian parents, youth ministries and family members haven't truly considered what our youth are exposed to on a daily basis and how it may be effecting them unlike any other generation before them?

Americans have attempted to redefine marriage in multiple ways, all of which moves away from the biblical definition of marriage provided by God, that will never change.  Tia Mowry is a latest example of this phenomenon. She recently divorced her husband and publicly called her marriage a success. All while providing reasoning for her divorce that is based on developing self love.

This ideology has really became very popular lately along with books like "Untamed" by Glennon Doyle that push making self god and the center of personal happiness.  How does all of this connect with marriage from a biblical worldview? I answer that question and respond directly to Tia Mowry's comments in this podcast episode.

The lens that we use to view today’s world matters. Every human being that is alive today has a set of lenses they are using to filter what they are seeing and define reality to the best of their knowledge. For those who profess to have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, there is only one set of lenses that can be used, and that is the lens of Scripture.

The culture as defined in America is overwhelmingly becoming more and more post-truth.

POST–TRUTH - “relating to or existing in an environment in which facts are viewed as irrelevant, or less important than personal beliefs and opinions, and emotional appeals are used to influence public opinion.”

This can be seen in all walks of life, even in the Christian faith and church culture. All the way from mass media to education systems, large corporations, social media networks, government and politics, church denominations, to your neighbor next door. There really is no escaping the ideologies and frameworks that have shaped a new humanism based on appeals to a godless moral standard that is only founded on feelings and public opinions.

The powers that have the greatest influence in our culture today do have a target audience in mind for indoctrination of the most influential humanistic ideologies, and that is children. The next generation. It may have been more hidden in past years, but today it is blatantly obvious that young minds and hearts are the primary target for continuing the progression of a world without absolute truth or morality.

The question now becomes, what are Christians supposed to do, or better yet, called to do? Christians who claim to have been saved by the way, the TRUTH, and the Life in Jesus Christ. Christians that claim to worship the TRUE and living God. Do we truly posses the light that Christ has said we are to have in a dark world, or are we simply finding ways to blend in, make little to no impact, and practice good religion?

Every parent that professes to be a follower of Jesus Christ is called to be the primary educator of the children God has blessed them with, leading with their knowledge of God in every aspect of life on to their academic knowledge of the world (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). Not answering that call or not prioritizing it is a willful surrendering our kids to the powers and principalities of this world that are instituted in the form of human ideologies and philosophies that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God.

Every year during the holidays there's much back and forth about Christians celebrating Halloween and Christmas because of their pagan origins.  How do we end this debate?  One thing all Christians should be able to agree on is, the foundation of this conclusion should be sourced in the truth of God's Word, and not our own personal opinions.

President Joe Biden has been pressuring employers to mandate the COVID vaccination to get more Americans to comply with taking it under the guise of ending the pandemic. Is this mandate truly going to end the pandemic based on the data and facts we have about COVID, or is there something else going on? Could this mandate be a precursor to the mark of the beast that will be used during the Tribulation? Are Christians biblically discerning or just complying out of fear?

Kyrie Irvin has been ostracized by the NBA and sports media for not just complying to the vaccine mandate while Christian NBA player Jonathan Isaac has clearly explained why he’s rightfully hesitant to taking the vaccine based on facts and personal conviction.

Congress woman Cindy Axne of Iowa openly disparages Christians as anti-vaxxers who have weaponized religion as enemies of progress. How many more U.S. Representatives agree with her?

Are Christians thinking critically and biblically about taking the COVID-19 vaccine?  There is a lot of division among believers about being vaccinated or unvaccinated, but should there be?  A biblical worldview and authentic faith in Jesus Christ shouldn't allow us to operate in the spirit of fear.

Current discussions about social justice, CRT, BLM, immigration and abortion among Christians are missing a very valid and important component to the Christian faith, the Kingdom message. How do we deliver true impact on the world without the truth of God and the Gospel message that brings healing and transformation? I believe Christ and the apostles left a standard that never changes.

"Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness..." - Jesus  What He didn't say was, "Seek first your ethnicity, ancestry, heritage, melanin count or sexual preferences, then the Kingdom of God and His righteousness..."  Every attempt to prioritize what is earthly will fail. That includes CRT, Intersectionality, BLM, Marxism and any other ideology that arises.

No surprises here. Tye Tribett makes that clear on today's podcast. What is happening to the Christian music industry?

The Derek Chauvin verdict on the killing of George Floyd is in, but so is a new religion called antiracism.  False narratives are flooding the news and social media that only focuses on skin color and police shootings.  Where is the taking the country and how should Christians respond?  Lebron James tweets and then deletes a call for accountability on white police officers but is doing so in a glaring hypocrisy.

There's a lot conversation around white people needing to give up their positions of power in the Christian church and why the practice have having women pastors is something we should be doing in the American church, but what does God's Word have to say about this?  If God has already left us a standard and explained why in His Word, why isn't that enough?

Christianity in America is being pushed to the forefront of the newest ideological movement that is called antiracism.  It's a fight for perceived justice from the oppression of white supremacy.  Ibram X. Kendi is an antiracist scholar who being invited into churches to reshape the minds of Christians and how they view the issue of racism, but does what he and other promote fundamentally change what Christians have been given through God's revealed Word concerning sin and how to address it?

American culture has established what is the new moral right in our society, but is it based on the moral right that God has always established in His Word?  This podcast discusses that and how Christians should respond to sexual sin, homosexuality, racism, abortion and any other social issues that have been embraced by today's culture.

When we get saved and come to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, do we bring our American way of seeing life into our faith or change over to an entirely different worldview in Christ?
