In this week's episode, my longtime childhood best friend Shauna Armstrong and I chat about her experience in the engineering field. We talk about what being a woman in engineering is really like, discuss how she turned people's negativity and doubt in her into a strength, as well as the stereotypes of an engineer and what you really need to know to be a good engineer. An important take away for students to know is that even if your grades are bad and you're struggling, it doesn't mean you should give up! There is time to turn your study habits and your dedication around, and pursue what you ultimately want to do.
