Then he shared how he got the opportunity to join Lazada Indonesia, first time visiting Indonesia, and working to educate market about online commerce. Jakob also shared his thought on Lazada mafia, a group of Lazada alumni that became a founder of awesome companies. Then after Lazada, Jakob founded Ayoconnect (re-brand from Ayopop) to solve bill payment issue in Indonesia. He shared his thought as to why he thought bill payment was a big issue and why he wanted to solve it, and why then Ayopop rebranded to Ayoconnect to focus on B2B.
