In this episode, I chat to Bath-based singer-songwriter Lo Barnes. Lo began her music career working for recording studios and labels, and has been a backing vocalist for artists including Alt-J, Florence + The Machine, Roots Manuva and The Heavy.
Since 2015, Lo has been recording under her own name alongside producer Toby Mclaren, creating mysterious and cinematic Tarantino-esque soundscapes, combined with haunting vocals and tales of heartbreak.
We chat about her new radio show The Lonely Lounge, film soundtracks that have inspired her music and the art of making creative music videos using old film techniques.

In episode three I chat to Dani Cook from Fully Fledged Art. Dani is a passionate bird artist creating eco-friendly prints and gifts. Her work is colourful, vibrant and super detailed and she’s on a mission to inspire others with a love of nature.

In this episode I catch up with folk singer-songwriter Luke De Sciscio. Luke’s music has been compared to artists such as Bon Iver and Jeff Buckley, with his falsetto vocals and poetic lyrics having a similar haunting quality.
His latest albums have been well received by fans and music blog reviewers alike and he has found a growing audience on Spotify. On the day we chatted his track R.O.B.Y.N had reached the impressive milestone of 1 million plays.
We chat about how Luke released three albums during a year of lockdowns, we compare our experiences of making music videos out in nature, and Luke exclusively reveals an upcoming support slot with a famous artist.
