What a difference a week can make. I'm sitting in my closet creating this episode in disbelief. My life has just changed forever. This episode is documentation of what happens when you believe in yourself and run after your dream. This is the go to episode for my grandchildren to hear when they feel like giving up. They can hear this and say wow, my grandma was brave. They will say my grandma never gave up on her dreams and if she can do it, then I can do it!
Based on one of her favorite books, LT delivers the tea on how she creates confidence in her daily life as an author, book Coach, wife and mother of three daughters. Listen to her never heard before confession about why she really created this podcast. She said it was not a life long dream, instead it was a last ditch effort to prove her family wrong.
I was hiding in plain sight from who the hell knows what. The boogey man was surely not interested in coming to get me. Not the sixth grade me. I was a loser. A coward. I was somebody who sat in the middle of the class and prayed that the teacher never called on me. I daydreamed and lost focused everytime a squirrel climbed up the tree outside the classroom window. I was a dork and nerd who wore glasses and had crooked teeth that would never be fixed because nobody had money for no damn braces. Well, that's what my momma said!
