Internal Family Systems Therapy, whats it all about? I speak with Charmain Berry to dicuss IFS/Parts
IFS is the first Psychotherapy model that openly embraces the essence of who we truly are by working with who we think we were/our ego. Developed by Richard Schwartz. We speak about: How IFS helps us understand the mind and so ourselves. Our parts system and how vast and complex it is. Our exile parts, manager parts and firefighter part. How the source of all pain and all suffering comes from our thoughts and beliefs. How this creates a false reality for us. The only time we are in our own self energy and not our parts is with unconditional love and compassion for ourselves and others. Love is our true goal, energy and what gives us drive. How important it is to let go and stop trying to control life so we can actually live. Our thoughts come from our part system and when we hear thinking going on in our mind its actually the parts of the system communicating with each other. We just over hear it and think that's us thinking without question. This was Very fascinating for me.

Going With The Flow. My experience of this and how we find our flow.
I discuss parts of my own journey and my experience at different stages of life that have helped me understand flow more which is what I call the flow of life. I discuss how we find our flow. How we keep our flow and how we lose our flow. I repeatedly refer to our physical and mental health and how its instrumental in us finding and following the flow of our life. Not to be happy and healthy at all times but to understand ourselves more, to be able to be content with life and to flow with our life.
