The Mantra
Even walking was a struggle...slow, limping, painful. This is the true recount of a time days after I finally knew I had late stage/neurologic Lyme. The recount becomes a re-enactment, not acted per se, but relived. The mantra that entered my mind that day helped me recover. Affirmations, mantras, and visualizations can help us tremendously. We talk to ourselves all day and what we say, or more important - what we listen to/believe makes a difference.
*This is the first Lyme Life video episode, which may only be viewable on Spotify.
Wonder Drug Neglected
This antibiotic was abandoned for not killing enough bacteria back in the day. However, researchers have found that it kills B. burgdorferi and other bacteria in the same class very effectively, but leaves most beneficial gut microbes alone.
