After studying the Law of Attraction for a couple of years, due to a four-decades long battle with anxiety and depression (which I have since overcome); I found the teachings of Neville Goddard and what he spoke of regarding scripture instantly resonated with me. I began having mystical dreams and experiences, and as I read scripture now, the true meaning (symbolism) is being revealed to me. Here on this podcast, I read the wonderful lectures given by the late Neville Goddard in hopes that whoever finds this podcast, that his teachings may resonate with you.

Life Has a Purpose - Neville Goddard lecture
In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture titled "Life Has a Purpose." Here is an excerpt: "Life has a purpose, and that is saying God has a purpose. You and I may have plans in conflict with God’s purpose, and God allows it for a short while – you and I can realize our dreams, but only within the framework of God’s plan. As we are told in the Book of Isaiah, the 14th chapter, the 24thverse, “The Lord has sworn: ‘As I have planned, so shall it be, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand’” [Isaiah 14:24]."  Neville Goddard

The Shaping of the Unbegotten - Neville Goddard lecture
In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture titled "The Shaping of the Unbegotten." Here is an excerpt: "The one who had the vision and I turn to one, that is, Blake. Blake said, “Manu suppose that before Creation all was solitude and chaos. That is the most pernicious idea that could enter the mind, for it takes away all sublimity from the Bible and limits all existence to Creation and chaos.” Neville Goddard

The Cross - Neville Goddard lecture
In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture titled "The Cross." Here is an excerpt: "When you see a cross, do you think of suffering? And when you hear someone say he was crucified, do you think, as the world undoubtedly thinks, that it is a suffering state? And if I told you that the cross is a spiritual wedding ring, would you believe it? When you see someone wearing a wedding ring, you know that there’s a union, there’s a marriage, and there should be love in that state." Neville Goddard

Incubate the Dream - Neville Goddard lecture
In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture titled "Incubate the Dream." Here is an excerpt: "The Bible recognizes only one source of dreams, and that source is God. But today, in 1963, our doctors, our pyschiatrists___(??), they know that the source of a dream is imagination and so they will say, no, it’s not God, it’s one’s imagination. But they do not know that the word God and not God, its one's imagination." Neville Goddard Lecture

The Redeeming Message - Neville Goddard lecture
In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' (1963) lecture titled "The Redeeming Message." Here is an excerpt: "Tonight’s subject is “Christmas, The Redeeming Message.” If you owned the world, but really literally owned the world and all within it, and a billion dollars your servant, and at the end of your short journey here that was all, wouldn’t that be sheer nonsense? Well, Christmas, the redeeming message, is that man lives forever.” Neville Goddard

In These Last Days By His Son - Neville Goddard Lecture (1963)
In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' (1963) lecture titled "In These Last Days By His Son." Here is an excerpt: " In these last days by his Son.” I know from my own personal experiences across this country that scientists and philosophers that I meet or are introduced to me as brilliant minds are unwilling to accept as explanation anything beyond and above this world of nature. I begin to discuss with them my personal mystical experiences; they want me to bring it down to this world – I’m not a physicist, I’m not a scientist, and I’m not a philosopher – but bring it down and explain to them in terms of the structure of this world. So, I can’t do it. I can only tell what has happened to me. ” Neville Goddard

I AM The Vine - Neville Goddard Lecture (1963)
In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' (1963) lecture titled "I AM The Vine." Here is an excerpt: " We're told in the 40th chapter of the Book of Isaiah, “The grass withers, the flower fades…but the word of God stands forever (verses 7 and 8).” This Bible is the word of God in its entirety. No matter how far it may exceed the limits of our logic, it still stands forever, and you and I will experience everything in that book. If at the moment we can’t grasp it, don’t try to change it, and leave it just as it is, It will prove itself in the most marvelous series of mystical experiences that you ever conceived.” Neville Goddard

In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' (1963) lecture titled "Believe Him In." Here is an excerpt: "Tonight’s subject is “Believe Him In,” which begins with believing in him. Believe him in only as you really believe in him. When Paul tells us in Romans, the 10th chapter, the 13th through the 17th verses, he makes the statement that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.”  Neville Goddard

Neville Goddard Lecture - Where are You Staying?
In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' (Undated) lecture titled "Where are You Staying?" Here is an excerpt: "Tonight’s title is, “Where Are You Staying?” This is taken from the first chapter of the Gospel of John. If you are not familiar with it, John the Baptist has just made the statement that Jesus is the Lamb of God. And in his presence were two of his disciples and they followed him, and they said to him, “Where are you staying, Rabbi?” and he replied, “Come and see,” so they followed him, and they remained with him because it was the tenth hour. (See John 1:35-39).” Neville Goddard

Neville Goddard Lecture - They Related Their Own Experience
In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' (Undated) lecture titled "They Related Their Own Experience." Here is an excerpt: "Tonight’s subject is, “They Told What Had Happened” – “They Related Their Own Experience,” is the better translation of that phrase which you and I will read in the 24th chapter of Luke. When I speak of “they told it,” I am speaking of the evangelists: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are anonymous names. No one knows who Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John really are. They are all anonymous. They each related their own experience. These experiences, which they talk about, were seen and heard by none, save him in whom they occurred. Through these experiences, they learned for a certainty that they are God. They were not speculating, trying to set up a workable philosophy of life; they are simply relating their own experience.” Neville Goddard

Last December hundreds of scientists met in Montreal and read their papers to each other and after the entire world printed what they had to say. Fortunately for me, the Los Angeles Times carried it daily. I must confess everyone really fired me! But one, in particular, interested me. This scientist read a paper on the sperm. He said, “the sperm remains as much a mystery today as it was when man first became curious about its nature." Neville Goddard

So, you are far better known than anyone in this world, for when we speak of the “outer man,” it vanishes and his little accomplishments, but your accomplishment is to come down into the world and conquer it, and actually rise out of the grave and return to the Being that you were, only enhanced by your victory over death. In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' (Undated) lecture titled "The Power and The Wisdom (Part II)." Here is an excerpt: " Now, what do we mean by power? Certainly, I would say, the best definition of it would be effectiveness in achieving one’s purposes. But these are the purposes of God, yet we can use power on this level to achieve a certain objective. But I am speaking, now, of the power of Christ. It’s entirely different from anything known to man unless he has had the experience. You taste it before the end, before you awaken from this dream, you will taste of this power. ” Neville Goddard

In the 18th chapter of the book of Matthew, you read these words, “If any two of you agree on earth about any request that you must make, that request will be granted by my Heavenly Father.” (Matthew 18:19). Every Natural Effect (Part II) - Neville Goddard lecture (Undated)
In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' (Undated) lecture titled "Every Natural Effect (Part ll)." Here is an excerpt: "Every natural effect has a spiritual cause and not a natural. A natural cause only seems. It is a delusion of the perishing, vegetable memory. We do not remember these moments in time when we imagined certain states. So when that imaginal state takes form so we can see it with the outer eye, we do not recognize our own harvest and deny that we had anything to do with these natural effects that are taking place in our world. Because our memory is faulty, we do not remember.” Neville Goddard

In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' (Undated) lecture titled "Free or Slave." Here is an excerpt: "I ask that you share your experiences with me because they do encourage everyone. Personally, I do not need encouragement, for I have experienced scripture, but everyone who has not experienced the word of God needs encouragement. How to Really Pray - Neville Goddard lecture (Undated)
In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' (Undated) lecture titled "How to Really Pray." Here is an excerpt: "I think you will find tonight’s message a very practical one... something that all should really have and apply. The whole of life is the appeasement of hunger, and the numberless states of consciousness from which the individual can think and view the world. Prayer is a means of satisfying that hunger. I say this because your state of consciousness is always being externalized. If you know how to move from your present state if you dislike it to the state you would like to externalize, then you have the secret.” Neville Goddard

If I have moments in my life, I regret it, not in the sense of a change of mind as in the word repent, still, I must tell you. I would like to look tonight into what it is to my mind, the greatest book in the world, the Bible, and show you a section with which you may not be familiar. In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' 1959 lecture titled "The Law." Here is an excerpt: "The whole vast world is no more than man’s imagining pushed out. I must qualify that by saying that the world outside of man is dead, but Man is a living soul, and it responds to man, yet man is sound asleep and does not know it. The Lord God placed man in a profound sleep, and as he sleeps the world responds as in a dream, for Man does not know he is asleep, and then he moves from a state of sleep where he is only a living soul to an awakened state where he is a life-giving Spirit." It seemed unconcerned as to what it did to Neville, and it tossed Neville like a wave, and Neville was scared almost to death. The ocean did not care, yet I, Neville, was also the ocean. The true seeker after truth is not a smug, critical, holier than thou person. Rather, the true seeker after truth knows the words of Zechariah to be true. Now, at first, this mystical gem seems a bit involved, or at best to be a play on words; but it is nothing of the kind. Listen to it carefully. In today's episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' 1951 lecture titled "Meditation." Here is an excerpt: Many people tell me they cannot meditate. This seems to me a bit like saying they cannot play the piano after one attempt. Meditation, as in every art or expression, requires constant practice for perfect results. A truly great pianist, for instance, would feel he could not play his best if he missed one day of practice. Not facts, but figments of the imagination, shape our daily lives. It is the exact and literal-minded who live in a fictitious world. The ancient teachers attached psychological truths to phallic and solar allegories. They did not know as much of the physical structure of man as do modern scientists, neither did they know as much about the heavens as do our modern astronomers. As our assimilative organs discriminate between food that can be built into our system and food that must be discarded, so do our awakened intuitive faculties discover beneath allegory and parable, the psychological life-germ of the Bible; and, feeding on this, we, too, cast off the form which conveyed the message." It is all one, but there are four distinct functions of the one. There are not four fingers or four separate beings living in man. God is one and his name is one, but there are four distinct functions, and you can call them the four Gospels, call them the four garments that he wore, call them the four rivers flowing out of Eden, call them the four creatures surrounding the great throne of God; call them four but understand what you mean by the four." When Origen, one of the early church fathers, was asked why are there four Gospels, why not one, he answered and said because there are four quarters of the Heavens, north, south, east, and west and, therefore, four quarters of the human soul. Here is an excerpt: "If man could only remember these moments of seedtime, he would never be surprised when the harvest appears in his world. But because he has no memory as to that moment in time when he dropped that seed, which is simply his emotional response to something he contemplated, something he overheard, something he observed, at that moment the thing was done; he didn't have to labor to bring it to harvest - he simply encountered it as something already full-grown, so he reaps now that on which he bestowed no labor, outside of choice. He selected it by his attitude, by his reaction." Neville Goddard

Seedtime and Harvest Part I - Neville Goddard 1956
In this podcast episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture "Seedtime and Harvest" from 1959. This is Part I. Here is an excerpt: "Although it bears the same title as my latest book, it is not to be found in that book, for that book is an attempt to interpret some of the more difficult passages of the Bible. I have given you in the nine chapters a mystical view, and also a certain approach to how you yourself may approach the interpretation of the Bible, for, as you know, it is not a book of history. And so, when I became aware of deeper meanings in the passages than those normally assigned to them, I began to see them or to apprehend them mystically, and so I have given you a mystical interpretation of many of the darker passages." By Water and By Blood Part II - Neville Goddard 1956
In this podcast episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture "By Water and By Blood" from 1956. This is Part II. Here is an excerpt: "So, as the mystic tells us in the 11th of his Letters to the Hebrews - "'Things seen were not made of things that do appear."Man refuses to accept it so he takes everything in his world and tries to take it back to some visible cause, even with the aid of his microscope. He takes the microscope and he will peer through it to prove to his own satisfaction there is a visible, tangible cause; or he goes off into space with his telescope. He must find in the outer world causes of the changes in the outer world. He cannot believe that the whole vast outer world is held together from within and we are only on the surface looking at it from without and trying to analyze it and to understand it from without, and all that appears without, though it seems there, it isn't. It is all from within - all within the mind of man - and that is the mystery." Neville Goddard

By Water and By Blood Part I - Neville Goddard 1956
In this podcast episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture "By Water and By Blood" from 1956. This is Part I. Here is an excerpt: "Now these twenty-one letters, or as we call them Epistles, are not really addressed to individuals or groups. They are mysteries, as is the entire Bible. Whether the Bible in the Old Testament tells the story in the form of history or whether they tell it in the form of a parable, or whether in the form of a letter, they are all revelations of the mind of God expressed in symbolism. Now, I do not claim that I can give you an exhaustive interpretation of any single story of the Bible."  Neville Goddard

Three Propositions Part II - Neville Goddard 1954
In this podcast episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture "Three Propositions" from 1954. This is Part II. Here is an excerpt: "If you take this technique and you try it consciously, for here I am appealing not to the passive mind that passively surrenders to appearances, I am appealing to the Christ in you which is the active conscious use of your lovely imagination. So when you sit down and you predetermine what you want to hear and you listen until you hear it, and you refuse to hear anything other than that, then you are using the one power in the world that awakens a man and you are using your lovely imagination, which is "Christ in you, the hope of glory."  Neville Goddard

Three Propositions Part I - Neville Goddard 1954
In this podcast episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture "Three Propositions" from 1954. This is Part I. Here is an Excerpt: "The individual state of consciousness determines the conditions and the circumstances of his life. The second proposition is that man can select the state of consciousness with which he desires to be identified; and the third follows naturally--therefore, man can be what he wants to be." The Pruning Shears of Revision - Neville Goddard 1954
In this podcast episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture "The Pruning Shears of Revision" from 1954. Here is an Excerpt: "This morning's subject is "The Pruning Shears of Revision". I firmly believe that if you will wisely and daily use the pruning shears of revision that you will find there is no objective beyond your ability to realize. And I mean that seriously, no objective beyond your ability to realize."  Neville Goddard

The Coin of Heaven - Neville Goddard 1954
In this podcast episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture "The Coin of Heaven" from 1954. Here is an Excerpt: "Have you lived this life of yours in such a way that you desire to live it again? Well, if you haven't, you'd better listen very carefully to what I will say this morning, if you have not already started, for may I tell you the next life is this life. When the eye is opened you will see it, that man unless he awakes and changes the tracks of this life he walks them forever. So if you have not lived this life in such a way that you really desire to live it again, you start now to interfere with these tracks and laying new tracks."  Neville Goddard

Good Friday - Easter - Neville Goddard 1954
In this podcast episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture "Good Friday - Easter" from 1954. Here is an Excerpt: "You know the story of Good Friday. A man is in a garden. It’s nighttime. And one called Judas comes in search of him, seemingly to betray him. He comes into the garden, and it’s dark, so he asks the simple question, "Where is Jesus?" Then the voice in the dark answered, "I AM HE."We are told in the story they all fell to the ground. When they regained their composure they asked the same question, "Where is Jesus?" Again the voice answered, "I have told you that I AM HE." This time Judas kisses him and the voice said to him, "Now that you have found me, let all else go, but do not let Me go, and what you have to do, do quickly." Then Judas goes out and commits suicide."  Neville Goddard

Awakened Imagination Part II - Neville Goddard 1954
In this podcast episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture "Awakened Imagination" from 1954. This is Part II. Here is an excerpt: "You didn't choose me, I have chosen you. For here is Truth seeing nothing hereafter in pure objectivity, but seeing everything subjectively related to himself and he [is] the source of all the actions that take place within his world; so Truth remains absolutely silent and says nothing when reason questions him concerning the true definition of Truth. Because when the eye opens it knows that what is an idea to sleeping man is a fact to the awakened imagination, an objective fact, not an idea. I entertain the idea of a friend and I make some wonderful concept of him in my mind's eye and when I sleep it seems to be a wish, it seems to be the longing of my heart, but purely subjective, just an idea. And the eye within me opens, and he stands before me embodying the quality that I desired in my sleep to see him express. So what is an idea to sleeping man, the unawakened imagination, is an objective reality to awakened imagination." Neville Goddard

Awakened Imagination Part I - Neville Goddard 1954
In this podcast episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture "Awakened Imagination" from 1954. This is Part I. Here is an Excerpt: "Everything is geared towards the awakening of the imagination. I doubt if there is any subject on which clear thinking is more rare than the imagination. The word itself is made to serve all kinds of ideas, many of them directly opposed to one another. But here this morning I hope to convince you that this is the redeeming power in man. This is the power spoken of in the Bible as the Second Man, "the Lord from Heaven." This is the same power personified for us as a man called Christ Jesus."  Neville Goddard

Your Supreme Dominion - Neville Goddard (1953)
In this podcast episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture "Your Supreme Dominion" from 1953. Here is an Excerpt: "As a man does not possess it or he does not know that he possesses it for he certainly is not exercising it. As we read in the very first chapter of the Book of Genesis, "And God made man in His own image, in the image of God made He him. He made them male and female, and God blessed them." And God said unto them, "Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth, and subdue it and have dominion over all the fish of the sea and all the fowls of the air, and every moving thing that moves upon the earth. And God saw all that He had done, all that He had done, all that He had made, and they were very good." - Neville Goddard

The Power of Awareness - Neville Goddard (1953)
In this podcast episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture "The Power of Awareness" from 1953. Here is an Excerpt: "I think you know how thrilled I am to be back here, for this is the one platform that grants me complete freedom. You know that. Dr. Bailes has never once restricted me or even suggested any condition. He gives me complete freedom of this platform, and for that, I am really very happy, for I couldn't be here unless he did."  Neville Goddard

Sound Investments - Neville Goddard (1953)
In this podcast episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture "Sound Investments" from 1953. Here is an Excerpt: "On Sunday morning, April 12th, my wife woke from what was really a deep, profound sleep and as she was waking a voice distinctly spoke to her, and the voice spoke to her, and the voice spoke with great authority and it said to her: "You must stop spending your thoughts, your time and your money; everything in life must be an investment." So she quickly wrote it down and went straight to the dictionary to look up the two important words in the sentence, 'spending' and 'investing': the dictionary defines 'spending' as "to waste, to squander, to lay out without return." To 'invest' is to "layout for a purpose, for which a profit is expected". Neville Goddard

Fundamentals - Neville Goddard (1953)
In this podcast episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture "Fundamentals."  Here is an Excerpt: "The purpose of true metaphysics is to bring about a rebirth or radical psychological change in the individual. Such a change cannot take place until the individual first discovers the self that he would change. This discovery can be made only through an uncritical observation of his reactions to life. The sum total of these reactions defines the individual's state of consciousness, and it is the individual's state of consciousness that attracts the situations and circumstances of his life.  So the starting point of true metaphysics, on its practical side, is self-observation in order to discover one's reactions to life, reactions which form one's secret self – the cause of the phenomena of life." Changing the Feeling of "I" - Neville Goddard Lecture 1953
In this podcast episode, I will be reading Neville Goddards' lecture "Changing the Feeling of I."  Here is an Excerpt: "Most of us are totally unaware of the self that we really cherish. We have never taken one good look at the self, so we don't know this self, for the "I" has neither face, form nor figure, but it does mold itself into a structure by all that it consents to, all that it believes, and few of us know really what we do believe. We have no idea of the unnumbered superstitions and prejudices that go to mold this inner, formless "I" into a form which is then projected as a man's environment, as the conditions of life."  Neville Goddard
