In this episode MbF's Glenn Garriock talks to Tom Pigeon's Kirsty Thomas about their social project The Make Bank.
"It's about addressing some of the issues surrounding 'creative poverty’ and pupils' access to art and design subjects and careers. During my research I became aware that an increasing number of UK pupils from deprived backgrounds are choosing not to study creative subjects in school. This happens for a number of reasons but often because they don’t have, and can’t afford, the tools they need to complete their coursework or aren’t aware of the breadth of opportunity that exists in our industry." — Kirsty Thomas

Gather is a modular home for your essentials, thoughtfully designed to help you cut through the clutter.
I’d hazard a guess that 99% of our readers work at a desk and that most those will probably be as untidy as mine. Designer Jeff Sheldon, founder of Ugmonk, felt there was a need to a more customisable and attractive solution. So he created Gather, a beautifully designed minimal organizer, a place to bring all your essentials together.
His Kickstarter campaign was fully funded within 24hours. I wanted to find out how Jeff managed to pull this off and why this product turned into a popular hit.
