Winonan Wire

This is our last episode until March 26. We are going on a break because of the university spring break. 

In this episode, you will hear about Warrior softball, a sustainability task force and RHA and NRHH awards. As always we will also have our Muckraker Highlight. Plus hear how The Winonan did in the awards portion of the Best of the Midwest conference! 

This week is a great episode! We will hear from Madelyn Swenson about the new administrative fee the WSU Foundation started. Then Kristin Kovalsky will tell us about a letter Student Senate President Ben Ellgen is sending to state legislatures. Hannah Hippensteel shares more about the LEAD Summit that happened last week. After that Chirs Edwards will update us on men's basketball. As usual, we end with our muckraker highlight. 

In this episode of the Winonan Wire, we will hear from Maurice Hudson about the baseball pre-season starting up on Feb. 7, 2020. Then Kellen Brandt will tell us about Visit Winona's photo contest that is partially a response to the Winona Ryder Superbowl ad. Plus the weekly interview with our Muckraker Highlight.

Mckenna Scherer shared a little about Shut Down Third Street. Finally, Madelyn Swenson will talk with Kendyl Keay about the Mankato soccer game this past weekend. 

In this week's episode, you will learn about how Women's Rugby move to D1 has effected them. Morgan Reddekopp talked with Andrea Northem about her move to Interim Vice President of Advancement. Dr. Locust shared with Mckenna Scherer who he is most excited to see as a part of the Inclusion and Diversity's speaker series.  Finally, Coach Tom Sawyer comments on NFL Scouts visiting Winona State University with Mitchell Breuer.
