Oli Frost is a British Satirist who is using his amazing talent and creativity to raise awareness about the climate crisis. His songs Pirate Emergency and the Greta Thunberg song are a great to listen to not only jam to but know more about the issue of climate change and the fishing industry. He also appeared on Britain's Got Talent posing as a recorder player.

In this episode I am joined by Danka Brewer who is Algonquin First Nation, Elder and one of the Strongest Knowledge Holders.

The episode begins with a beautiful introduction of Danka in her traditional language. Then proceeds to discuss climate change impacts on the land (water and rice ), significance of drumming, importance of working with nature and how science is behind indigenous knowledge, listening to elders and ends with an amazing water song!

This episode was truly one of my favorites to record as it touches on something that I value , bringing indigenous knowledge in the climate dialogue.It was an honour to speak to Danka.

This episode in the series of mental health and climate change explores the ideas of Post Traumatic Growth and Active Hope in regards to the ecological crisis. A short and extremely fascinating discussion on waste water management using green and grey infrastructure with the ENVCast's first ever guest Sowmya Shah!! Sowmya is a recent MSc graduate from the University of East Anglia, Norwich UK. On this episode she talks to us about her research on Integrated Constructed Wetlands, how they help achieve SDGs and how her work is contributing in decision making across Norfolk, UK. It was great to get an insight from her on what individuals could do to help with waste water management and implementation of integrated constructed wetlands.
