Episode 22 – The Outrageous, the Foolish, + the Divine with Janet Morgan

In this episode of Majestic Wisdom Podcast Heather co-creates with visual artist, author, teacher, and all-round creative force, Janet Morgan. Janet shares brilliant insights about how some of her best work started out with a failure, rejection, and/or making a mess. For Janet, this connects to the creative process, problem-solving, and finding her way through something that may feel like it’s not working, so that she can do what it is she wants or needs to do (in art and in life).

By exploring the outrageous, the foolish, and the divine (including painting deities and landscapes), Janet shares deeply about what art is and what it can be, especially in relation to community and community building. We talk about her new book, Coney Island Awakes, and how many of these themes are present in this magical work and, mostly, we had a lot of fun creating together! We hope you have fun listening too!

Heather offers a plant spirit reading for Janet, connected to her work and being. We hope that this podcast will help you immerse yourself in the outrageous or foolish, so that you find your own way to connect to the energies (and deities) around you too. Maybe you’ll even create a new one!

Episode 18 - Investing in the System of Love with Juan Lee

Episode 18 - Investing in the System of Love with Juan Lee

In this episode of Majestic Wisdom Podcast Heather co-creates with Juan Lee, transformational speaker, coach, and author of Love Made Simple: A Guide to Inner Peace, Contentment and Success. Juan shares his vision for love as a system and framework that humanity must invest in so that we can survive.

We talk about capitalism, love-ability, death, seeing how system of love emulates nature, and how love fortifies weaknesses both individually, in groups, and ultimately, in the entire system that we call humanity.

Heather also offers a plant spirit reading in relation to humanity's healing the force of love. As Juan himself says, he talks about love made simple, not easy, and there are plants willing to help in this crucial planetary evolution.

Episode 15 – Seeing + Being Seen from the Heart with Melodee Solomon

In this episode of Majestic Wisdom Podcast Heather co-creates with Melodee Solomon. Melodee is a photographer, intuitive energy healer, breath work facilitator, and meditation teacher, who finds connection through their camera in many ways (and across many dimensions).

Here, Melodee shares their “accidental” journey into photography, how it has blended and merged with other healing practices, and how they have created new offerings within nature and community. This unexpected connection behind the lens has become a big part of Melodee’s medicine both personally and collectively.

This conversation also takes us deep into the heart space, where we explore healing around being seen, the unifying essence of beauty, and what it means for the world to co-create with multiple perspectives (and beings). Melodee talks about a new framework that is emerging at this time, and through their work.

Episode 14 – Memoir, Myth + Making Sense through Story with Dr. Elisabeth Sharp McKetta

Episode 14 – Memoir, Myth + Making Sense through Story with Dr. Elisabeth Sharp McKetta

In this episode of Majestic Wisdom Podcast Heather co-creates with Dr. Elisabeth Sharp McKetta. Elisabeth is a storyteller who has authored ten books, including her first novel, She Never Told Me About the Ocean, which debuted in early 2021. She teaches creative writing at Harvard Extension School and Oxford University.

By exploring why we tell stories, when we start, and how they work on an individual and collective level, Elisabeth shares insights gained through personal experience, and her work within memoir and myth, to take you on a journey of how story shows up in your daily life, around you, and through your being.

Elisabeth also talks about the crucial element of layered stories that shaped her novel, what it's like to tell a story when you don't know who the audience is, and brings forward the concept of archetypal energies within storytelling. Together, she and Heather weave cycles of birth, death, and rebirth into the conversation and question if memoir and myth are separate at all, or merely threads of the same universal tapestry.

Heather also offers a plant spirit reading in relation to this work. We hope that this podcast will inspire you to think about the stories you were born into, those that have shaped you, and to tell the ones that want or need to be expressed through you.

This path has helped Holly look at, question, and continue to evolve more and more into her authentic Self.

Holly takes us on her journey of discovering the Tarot, why it resonated with her, and how she works with it (and other healing modalities) to help others (and herself) find insight and healing. She speaks openly about her life experience in working with the shadow and entering into the dark night of the soul in several meaningful ways, the medicine that came from these experiences, and how she shares all of this with others through ceremony, building community wherever she goes (even virtually), and holding space. Holly reminds us that there is always light and that we also need to venture into those internal places we may not want to go...

Heather also offers a plant spirit reading in relation to this work. We hope that this podcast will help you also traverse between worlds, hold or cultivate the space you need in order to heal and open to the shadow energies that want to be seen, heard, and integrated into your being.

Episode 7 - Plant Blindness, Reconnection + Flourishing with Tigrilla Gardenia

Episode 7 - Plant Blindness, Reconnection + Flourishing with Tigrilla Gardenia

In this episode of Majestic Wisdom Podcast Heather co-creates with Tigrilla Gardenia. Tigrilla works as a Nature-Inspired Leadership Mentor and studies Plant Intelligence and the Effects of Plant Music on Human Health. She is an influential speaker and mentor, running courses and workshops on reconnection with the plant kingdom and champions connection to nature as the basis for long-term health, happiness and success.

Tigrilla shares with us what reconnection with the Plant Kingdom means to her and how, by seeing our own plant blindness and remembering our plantness, we can remember our part within a greater ecosystem (and that we, individually, are an entire ecosystem). She reveals scientific and other insights into what this reconnection means for humans and plants to co-exist, co-create and thrive (or flourish) and how this helps us discern what a crisis is and whether or not to take action.

Heather also offers a plant spirit reading in relation to this work. We hope that this podcast will inspire you to connect with a plant near you and see what happens next... To find your own path to leadership and your unique purpose within the ecosystem of which you are already a part (and/or to find a new ecosystem if needed).

Episode 3 - Co-creative Farming, Community + Ancestry with Ekaterina Rodin + Jordan MacKinnon

Episode 3 - Co-creative Farming, Community + Ancestry with Ekaterina Rodin + Jordan MacKinnon

In this episode of Majestic Wisdom Podcast Heather co-creates with Ekaterina Rodin and Jordan MacKinnon, founders and farmers of The Humble Garden. Ekaterina and Jordan share their passion for working with the land, how they both started to be called to do so, and what it means for them. As organic farmers, they offer a unique (and perhaps unexpected) perspective on balance not just locally but on a macro-scale, trust, and lessons from listening to the land (and Jordan's 96-year-old grandfather).

We also explore the idea of ancestral knowledge and connection, what it means to co-create, the support of community, and an exchange economy.

Heather then offers a plant spirit reading in relation to this work. We hope that this podcast will inspire you to connect with your land, food, the community and energy around you, and to find what balance means for you.

Episode 2 - Service, Ritual + Crone Power with Amy Eberhardt

Episode 2 - Service, Ritual + Crone Power with Amy Eberhardt

In this episode of Majestic Wisdom Podcast Heather co-creates with Amy Eberhardt. Amy shares her journey of becoming. Through early inclinations of wanting to heal through touch to obstacles preventing this work to a career as a massage therapist and Integrative Health Practitioner at a major NYC medical center, Amy shares about her path and what it means to be of service to others.

Amy then shares openly about menopause and walks us through a ritual she created to honor this major gateway of life as well as societal beliefs we hold around the natural aging process for women (that just aren't true...). She incorporates threads of what it means for her to be an elder and offers insight into her own healing process and a broader scope of what we all carry collectively.

Heather also offers a plant spirit reading in relation to this work.

We hope that this podcast will encourage you to create ritual and the support you need or see missing for yourself and in your community.

Episode 1 - Envisioning New Ecosystems with Stewart Hoyt

In this episode of Majestic Wisdom Heather co-creates with Interdisciplinary Artist and Environmental Visionary Stewart Hoyt.

Stewart shares about powerful connections we can make in ourselves, our communities and our own back yard to create healthy ways of living interdependently. Stewart offers insight into his experience of Authentic and Ecstatic Movement and we talk about how being in touch with our bodies also helps us be in greater connection to nature, the land, and others around us.

His vision for how we can optimize the ways we live embraces not only how to work with the impacts of (and hopefully offset) climate change but how cities and communities can optimize and align themselves to ensure great economic and environmental benefit.

Heather also offers a plant spirit reading in relation to this work.

There is much wisdom shared here and we hope this podcast inspires you to deepen your own experience or calls to action.
