Graham Elwood is a stand-up comic you’ve probably seen on TV's “Cram” (GSN) and “Strip Poker” (USA) or when he appeared on “The Late Late Show” (CBS). Also has starred in the theatrical plays Speed the Plow, Light Sensitive, Cash Flow and co-wrote the one-act play Brothers. He directed the award-winning feature film “Ear Buds: The Podcasting Documentary.” Graham is the Co-creator of the Los Angeles Podcast Festival.  Graham is also a frequent guest of the Jimmy Dore Show and Aggressive Progressive on TYT which inspired the creation of “The Political Vigilante” his YouTube show and podcast where he talks politics from a progressive point of view.

Maleko and Flash are back at Alohilani Resort broadcasting LIVE from a Swell Pool Deck cabana. Chef Will Chen joins the show to talk about his new venture, the Piccola Onda food truck, and accompanying Double Fat Ice Cream shop. Both are located at the "Greetings" photo deck adjacent to the pool deck. 

We taste authentic Italian cuisine, followed by freshly created Ice cream, and wash them down with tasty cocktails from the Swell menu.  Some of the food and drinks are Spicy, and that's our word of the day. 

Keep your eye on Albert, our Audience of One, as he raises a glass every time he hears the word, and you can play along at home with a sip or two of your favorite drink.

Hawaii coach and former NFL player Rich Miano joins the Maleko and Flash Show recorded LIVE from the Club House at Aloha Stadium.

Ex-Interim head coach of the Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors, Miano, is synonymous with Hawaii football. Now the Executive Director of the Hula Bowl, Director of Football for the Polynesian Bowl and partner with the Aloha, Polynesian, and Ohana Classics, and runs the GPA Football Academy Polynesian Showcase. We’ll talk about his storied history in Hawaii football from high above the world-famous Aloha Stadium.

Pro Surfer Makua Rothman joins us for cocktails and conversation at Shorefyre Fresh Grill and Bar at the Waikiki International Market Place. Rothman recently dropped in on a monster wave at Jaws (estimated at 100 feet -- the biggest wave ever ridden in Hawaii). He brings bagels from his popup shop Banzai Bagels and Makua Rothman is a musician too, and we're hoping he'll drop some new tunes on us today.

Join Maleko & Flash as we get funky with Sweedish Jazz star Gunhild Carling (Postmodern Jukebox) and TikTok sensation Becky Mits. We're LIVE on location in Hawaii Kai, at Liko's Tap & Table.  Gunhild Carling is a Swedish jazz musician, singer, and songwriter. A multi-talented musician, Carling can play several different musical instruments, can sing, and dance. Besides her parents and herself, Gunhild Carling's siblings are all also accomplished musicians. Carling and her family perform worldwide as The Carling Big Band, with Gunhild headlining the group. In addition to playing jazz music at their shows, they perform acrobatic stunts and other talents. Carling also guest performs with orchestras and choirs around the world on her own.  Becky Mits is a TikTok sensation, with 922-thousand followers and over 22-million likes. Her rise to TikTok stardom happened almost overnight during COVID-19 lockdowns and quarantines. The social media superstar is also the co-host of the Sam and Ryan Show on iHeartMedia Honolulu's 93.9 The Beat. Becky's quick wit and fun banter make her an instant hit with Maleko & Flash, too, as she puts back a plate of Oysters and Sashimi during the conversation.  Liko's Tap & Table is an open-air restaurant in Hawaii Kai, on the island of Oahu. Throughout the 1990s, Blangiardi held leadership positions at television stations throughout the mainland with stints in Seattle, New York, San Francisco, St. Louis, and Los Angeles.   At the end of the decade, he was president of Telemundo Group, the Spanish language television network. In that role, he said he led the 2001 sale of Telemundo to NBC, “the largest acquisition of a foreign-language broadcaster in the United States by one of the major television networks,” according to The New York Times.   Since 2002 he has headed both KHON and KGMB. After the 2008 financial crash, Blangiardi led the consolidation of two stations, KGMB and KHNL, into Hawaii News Now.
