This week on the podcast we have Erika & Tesha from Culture slay, they've started youtube vlogs to educate us all on other Cultures and the importance all through food...so we gave it a litte twist & asked ourselves, How important is Culture in our childrens development & upbringing.

This week we spoke about how a perfectionist is formed & how this can impact our adult self's. We also asked the question 'How was your 4th Trimester....to a dad! A whole man talking about his 4th trimester, well that's interesting!

On a scale of 1 to 10 how toxic are you as a mother? Think about it...we all have some level of toxicity & red flags, lets be honest & realistic! Theres only so much we could get through in an hour but have a listen and of course let us in to any thoughts or if you disagree, we're always up for healthy discussions because our aim is to always grow as humans and mothers raising the future! This week we spoke to an inspirational young man that told his story with growing up sexually and emotionally abused. It's very rare we hear these stories from a male perspective but we must use these experiences as a reminder that they happen & it's always in most cases the closest people around us that are the perpetrators.

Last week was Baby loss awareness week & we couldn't go without sending love & light to everyone that feels this close to home. This week we're sharing a beautiful story & very close to our hearts.

This was a bloody good chat haha! We spoke all things periods, from fun facts to personal stories because that's how much we want to share with you! We also touched on should periods be an excuse to miss school or work for a day? Or atleast have a safe environment that understands this nature of being a women because lets face it some of us die with cramping! Feel empowered by these, let's continue to promote period positiveness & less shaming!

Postpartum psychosis is a serious mental health illness that can affect someone soon after having a baby and affects around 1 in 500 mothers. This week we spoke to the wonderful Eve Canavan about her experience & shared some quite beautiful things with us 💜 There is help and you will get better!

This week we spoke to such an amazing Mama about her experience with her specially little girl. Her daughter defied everything the doctors said about her development. With it being maternal mental health week, we really got into the shoes of this mother & she did not hold back on telling us her truth.

This week we spoke to the fantastic @la_mslopez This woman has helped so many of us during lockdown. We spoke about the generational trauma we underwent with educational preassure. How ojr parents demanded Law degrees, Doctors in the family & how we always felt we had no choice. Such a great conversation on how to break away from this and how to really enable the kids of tomorrow to think outside of the system.

This week we spoke to Mother of 3 and her experience with grieving her mother & how this changed her life & how motherhood has been for her. Most of us still have our mothers around to support us & help with anything the kids need but whats it like when she has wings?

We had a catch up with Rebecca a couple of weeks back talking all things potty training and how important learning through play is for our children's development. Their social & emotional development, motor skills and lots more, we obviously had our Psycho mum made up scenarios.
