For nearly ten years, HLG has represented the cannabis industry’s titans in every aspect of the commercial cannabis industry around the world. And he is largely responsible for the establishment and growth of the CBD industry due to his legal strategies, litigation matters, and policy efforts executed on behalf of HLG clients. From 2010-2016, Bob served as one of the Nation’s first cannabis policy instructors at the University of Denver, where he regularly lectured regarding cannabis topics (government regulations, public policy, and research-based policy courses). Bob has been asked to work with dozens of governments across the U.S., Asia, the E.U., and Latin America (over thirty different countries) on crafting their commercial cannabis public policy solutions (legislation and regulations). With the American hemp industry on the verge of a revolution, hemp packaging is primed to take over a significant part of the global packaging sector. Sustainability Is Knot Plastic
Tune in on this episode with Ry Russell, CEO & Founder of Knot Plastic. The mission at Knot Plastic is to help the Hemp industry make a positive impact on our environment and our global community. Ry and his team are making it possible to maintain our current lifestyle while making a difference by providing a Knot Plastic alternative to single-use consumption; that is both safe for your family and families across the globe affected by plastic pollution. At Knot Plastic, they recycled the old idea of “why care?” and challenge you to ask yourself our favorite question, “Why Knot?” There is evidence that hemp was one of the earliest plants cultivated for human use. It’s uses across history and globally has included food sources, medical uses, spiritual uses, clothing, toiletries, textiles, dietary supplements, cleaning products and building materials. The inner fibers of hemp are tough and can be used as animal bedding or mulch. The hemp plant has strong potential for furthering sustainability ventures due to its low impact on the environment, as it requires significantly fewer amounts of pesticide and herbicide when grown on a large scale, compared to crops such as cotton or wheat.
