On this weeks episode of The Shop Table, Westie brings on one of the raddest humans in the coffee world : Josh Williams. Josh is based in the Uk and we were so excited to get him on the show. Westie and Josh talk about pretty much everything thats going on in their lives, with a bit of coffee chat sprinkled throughout the conversation (obviously)

Marc and Westie also finally get to catch up with each other after some time of not being able to schedule things correctly (organization is not Marc's strong suit)

Welcome to anther episode of The Shop Table. This wee we have the absolute legend that is Melissa Stinson from Every Bodys Busy in Chicago. IF you arent following her on instagram, you should fix that right now (well after you listen to our dope conversation). Marc and Melissa chat about where the idea for Every Bodys Busy came from, Melissa's journey in coffee, and what she is aiming to accomplish with her shop in Chicago.

REBRAND! Well actually rename. Westie pointed out that there can be some confusion with my account being called The Shop Table and the pod being called pass the brew....so we renamed the pod to The Shop Table! Woo now its all easy and what not. 

But on to the real show! We are PUMPED to welcome coffee instagram legend Alex Wallace to the show. Westie intervies Alex about basically everything under the sun, you're going to love it!

Vincent is crazy knowledgeable and isn't afraid to push against the so called "rules of coffee". Westie and Marc also throwdown about batch brew and thier opinions on it.

The Shop Table is back! A group of people coming together virtually as if we were sitting around a coffee shop table. On this episode we have an awesome group of folks who have all found a niche in the coffee industry slightly outside the norm. Part of what is exciting about this episode is that between the 4 of us we cross 4 time zones, 3 countries and 2 continents! This was such a fun episode to do so I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did!

On todays episode of Pass the Brew, I welcome Dre Murray and Billy Wiginton of Black Gold Creative! Billy and Dre have been running a podcast together and will soon be launching their own coffee. Dre, Billy and I talk about pretty much eveything, and we do it despite our internet connections attempting to kick us off. We do laugh at Billy quite a bit for some technological misshaps, but you'll just have to listen to hear that. Enjoy the episode!

On todays episode of Pass the Brew, I welcome fellow Canadian (one of the few so far) Kyle Rowsell! Kyle is the man behind the beautiful Instagram page @brewathomeblog. Kyle is a youth pastor outside of coffee and is one of the most passionate people I think I have ever met, and you can hear it in his voice! Kyle and I talk life, coffee, faith and brewing and it was such an easy conversation. Kyle is one of the few home baristas on instagram really focusing on espresso and truly helping people brew better espresso at home. I hope you enjoy this awesome conversation!

On this episode of pass the brew I sit down with my good friend and fellow Canadian, Matt McNeilly. Matt and his wife Jess own and opperate a mobile coffee truck called Merci Coffee + Connections out in British Columbia. Matt and I (despite both being Canadians) met for the first time in Belfast Northern Ireland where we both worked in the specialty coffee industry. Matt and I chat about how he and his wife wound up there in the first place and how they went from their to owning their own mobile coffee truck back in Canada. Matt and Jess are two of the most genuine people you will meet, and this was an excellent conversation with Matt. Enjoy!

On this special episode of Pass The Brew, we launch a new series called The Shop Table. On the Shop Table I will be bringing in several former guests to have a group conversation. For the first episode we have former guests Stephen Zinnerman, Kenny Baker, and Carlos Sims Jr. This is an awesome episode where we just have some fun getting to know each other a bit more, make fun of Carlos for likeing the Jaguars, and talk about the difficulty of running a small business in todays climate.  This podcast has allowed me to meet some incredible people, and I consider these three friends now, so I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did. On this episode of PTB I get to sit down with Ibrahim Bedaso of Oromo Coffee Beans in Chicago. I won't lie, this episode is incredibly special! Not only does Ibrahim tell us about his coffee journey, but also about how important coffee is to the people who discovered it, the Oromo People. This is a must listen for any coffee drinkers out there. Ibrahim also tells us his goals for his business, and how he hopes to import some of the Oromo culture surrounding coffee to those of us in North America. I hope you enjoy as much as I did!

Stephen and I talk a little bit about sports, we talk about his life and history, and of course we talk about coffee! Stephen opens up about his journey in coffee, including the barriers that he has faced as a Black man in the coffee industry.  Stephen has incredible passion for his work and for others, and you can hear it in this conversation! Kenny talks to us about his journey in coffee and how he started a business with 100$. Kenny also talks about his experiences in Memphis and his hope for the future of the coffee industry.
