So in this episode, I explain what all has been going on these last few weeks and then we get into talking about music. My kids were the bulk of the episode and they did such a great job being behind the mic for the first time! I did have to stop quite a bit to take away loud things and calm down the hype (hey, they're kids) but it was a pretty good little interview. Enjoy!!
So I got tired of holding back because I don't want to be known as the "angry Black woman" so every Tuesday, I'm letting it all go! Welcome to the first installment of Bitter Bitch Tuesdays where I'll rant about random stuff. Today, I rant about my job and this little girl on social media.
If you have stuff YOU wanna rant about, feel free to drop me a DM on Instagram or email me at email@example.com and have your rantings read on the show.

I Dream of Jewelry +
So in this episode, I respond to the question of interracial dating. After recording the episode on April 22, 2019, (not the release date) I was later asked if you can be pro- Black and still date outside of your race? I'll have to dig into that on another episode! Be sure to follow on Instagram @tqtpodcast and subscribe!!

Ok, so this is a bit of a break in all of the seriousness that's going on in the world today. Sometimes, we just need to take a minute and escape so that's what this episode is about: Season 8 (the final season) Episode 3 review of the HBO television show, Game Of Thrones. It's kinda funny, I was super hype when I recorded this so grab some popcorn and have a laugh!
So this is day 3 of trying to get this episode out but here it is!! Be sure to follow EVERYONE on social media and SHOP BLACK! Enjoy the show!! Follow this podcast on Instagram @tqtpodcast and stay tuned for the next episode!!

In this episode, I go into how important it is to stay away from negative people who create a toxic atmosphere in your life. I recorded this episode a few days ago, things are a bit wonky these days but it's up! Stay tuned for more soon!!
So I was convinced to do an episode about the Neverland documentary and decided to dissect further into it. This episode was meant to come out on March 13, 2019 but this retrograde has played with NO👏🏿BODY so when social media went down, my platform did too. Be sure to follow on Instagram and Facebook to get all updated news!!
In this episode, I sit down with Danette Mahabeer, author of Leave Alive. The intro is a bit long, as I felt the R. Kelly interview with Gayle King fits right in with today's episode.
You can find Leave Alive on authorhouse.com, amazon.com, and barnesandnoble.com, today! You can find her on Instagram @leavealivetoday and on Facebook at Leave Alive. And while you're at it, be sure to follow me on Instagram @tqtpodcast and Facebook at The Queen's Table Podcast! Enjoy!!
In this episode, I chat it up with the vendors of the Hot Chicken and Art show, put on by Craft Trap oit of Atlanta, Georgia! Check out the episode along with the corresponding photos on my Instagram account @tqtpodcast
So I'm a bit off today due to a phone issue but we're here! Today, we continue our discussion with Marc (on Instagram @p_vizion). Stay tuned tomorrow for a double episode release! Be sure to subscribe and follow me on Instagram @tqtpodcast
I sat down and chatted with friend and listener, Marc Reeves, for an in depth discussion about the last several episodes and more! We spoke for a long time so this discussion will continue in separate episodes. Very well worth it and stay tuned for the second part of the interview!
Yo yo! Just wanted to take a quick minute to throw out some shot-outs to some of the amazing businesses and podcasts I've come across lately! Just a quick minute to show some love to my Black community! Don't forget to SHARE!!!
So I'm really excited to release this episode! I've got my brother, Yasin Johnson, to come on as a guest and explore the religion of Islam with me! We start up where we left off in part 4 so check it out!!
So there were some issues getting this episode out on time and I missed the deadline. But that's ok, it's alright to make mistakes. The important thing is to learn from them and I've learned tobused Google Drive as a backup 😂😂 So we're finally going to get into Black Israelites! Not right off the bat but definitely getting to it during the second half. It's a great episode but please listen to parts 1 and 2 first. It lays the groundwork for the series! Enjoy and share!
Ok so I had to explain yesterday's show. I'm aware that it got a little too scientific but I take constructive criticism pretty well (for a Virgo 😎) and did tone it down quite a bit! Be sure to follow me on Instagram @tqtpodcast and Facebook at The Queen's Table Podcast!
Ah, the long awaited series on religion! I kick it off with a short episode to set the tone for the series. If you like this episode, you'll love what I've got in store for this week! And if you hate it, well, at least it isn't long😂😂
Today, me and the kiddos took a trip out to the Nashville Black Market and spoke with several Black owned businesses! And i know ive used the outro song before but it's fitting 🤷🏿♀️ Enjoy the episode, share and subscribe, and shop Black!!
So it's the start of Black History Month and the kickoff to an episode a day for the entire month of February! In this short episode, I talk about the haters from the last few episodes and the angry Black woman. It's mostly just venting 🤷🏿♀️ Also, I need to make a correction; towards the end of the episode, I mentioned that my profile on Instagram is public. Look for Marissa J, not my entire government name. Enjoy the episode and tune in tomorrow for an entire episode of Black owned businesses at the Nashville Black Market!
Today, I sat down and chatted with Everett and Eric Hicks of the Surreal Talk podcast to talk about the systematic disenfranchisement of the Black American community (too long of a title). It was an awesome discussion and one that i look forward to continuing next week for part 2! You can find Surreal Talk just about everywhere. Be sure to share this episode and if you haven't subscribed yet, DO IT!! Also, since this is a 2 part episode, I'll be plugging a Black owned business on the next show. Any questions or show ideas can always be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
I sat down with my good friend, Heidi Davis, to talk about Trump's Wall Speech and the government shutdown. There's so much disinformation and misinformation out there, we wanted to set the record straight on what you can expect to happen in the upcoming months. Enjoy this and all other episodes and be sure to share and subscribe!!
So I do apologise for how slowly I drug this episode out but I think I've touched on everything I wanted to cover on this topic.
If you are or know of a Black owned business, please drop it in my inbox! You can send any emails to email@example.com
If you'd like to see what the Waves Bluetooth speaker looks like, my Instagram page is public and is on there! @queen_riss_615
Follow me there if you'd like to get updates on when the next episodes will be available 💋
In this episode, I have my first guest! My good friend, Starr, sat and spoke with me about relationships. We went in pretty deep in this episode and I hope to do more like this. I did have some issues and ended up recording the intro and outro in my car while driving but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do! And I did add full songs to the beginning and end. I think I'll do more of that. Bear with me guys, this podcast is still a baby and I'm learning! If you have any suggestions or topic ideas, please email them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org If you're listening on Anchor, you can leave a voice message right on the app! Enjoy!
