Joel sits down with Dr. Eric Birgbauer, a professor of Winthrop University who does research on neuroscience specifically neurodevelopment, and his graduate assistant Jeffery Parham who is doing lab research on PRG which is involved in memory and learning. They discuss how they conduct their research and how it can be used to advance the treatment of neurological diseases while helping us better understand our genes and how they affect their development.
