071: The Anatomy of a Perfectly IMPerfect $45k Affiliate Launch
This episode has been a long time coming. Inside I unpack every detail of my experience as an affiliate for Stu McLaren's Tribe program (my first affiliate launch EVER). I break down how much I sold, the exact dollar amount I took home, what worked, what didn't work, AND my takeaways for next time. Even if you have no clue what an affiliate launch is, I break it down starting at the very beginning. Just trust me and give this episode a listen. ALSO since I forgot to include this: I discuss Facebook ads in this episode but forgot to include my actual ad spend. I spent $1,500 in ads total for this launch. Next time, it will be a lot less (hint: I discuss this in the what worked/ what didn't work section of the episode). About this episode... If you need inspiration for a membership idea-- THIS episode is for you! The most common objection I hear from people who WANT the income and lifestyle of being a membership owner is that they don’t have the IDEA or inspiration to figure out exactly what they’d offer, so I wanted to try something different. I made a list of my friends, family members, and even some business peers who do NOT currently have a membership site. I am going to tell you a little about each of them, and I am going to map out MY idea for their membership site. And I am not just going to give you the topic, I am going to share a ballpark of what I’d price it at and exactly what I would offer every single month. And if you’re thinking well-- it seems like SO much work and such a time suck-- well stay tuned for the remainder of this 8 part series, because it’s actually QUITE the opposite. And as I say all the time, with a membership, you put in the same amount of time and effort whether you have 5 or 5,000 members-- so your revenue potential (and therefore your income potential) is really limitless! Let’s get inspired today!

062: Take Charge Of Your Business Finances (And Start Paying Yourself More) Today With Cheryl Belber
Most business owners turn a blind eye to the REAL financial numbers in their business. Sound familiar? Many of us are focused on SALES-- which is great-- but: How do you know if your business is actually making money? How do you calculate how much money to pay yourself? How do you know if your business is sustainable? How do you know if you can afford that new program? That new team member? While this topic isn’t specifically about marketing your business-- knowing your numbers is CRUCIAL before you know how much to budget for things like ads, paid tools, and more things I discuss here on the Marketing Junkie. So if you WANT to implement some of the paid strategies I recommend but have no idea if you can afford it-- THIS episode is for you! My guest expert today is Cheryl Belber-- owner of Saratoga Bookkeeping Services where she partners with business owners and removes the frustration of finances to ensure business owners have the information they need to elevate their business. However, I’ve grown SO much in this area and I have 9 practical tips & strategies that will help you respond professionally and in a manner that speaks to your FUTURE potential customers and clients in a positive way. 052: Listen In On My Marketing Coaching Call With Business Owner Renee
Trying something new with today's episode! I'm letting you listen in on my marketing coaching call with local business owner Renee. Her questions (which I answer throughout the call) include: how to get over the fear of selling how to grow and nurture an email list how to decide if ads or influencer campaigns are worth the investment how I pre-sell events and inventory ... plus MUCH more! Here's a little more about Renee, in her own words! Even if Renee has a business UNLIKE yours, you will still get great info! I'm Renee, wife and mom of two.  It has been a dream of mine for over ten years to create a beautiful space for children to play and caregivers to connect. In 2013, my family moved to Haiti and spent almost 6 years working with those in extreme poverty. After moving back to the States in 2019, I knew it was time to turn my dream into a reality. We opened in October 2020 and my dream is that Mezanmi Play Cafe will be a space where you and your children learn, play and connect with others. In a world where many of our relationships happen behind a screen, Mezanmi is a place to build face to face relationships and encourage one another in one of the most difficult seasons of being a parent.

038: The 9 (New) Tasks I am Outsourcing to a Virtual Assistant or Contractor
One of the questions I get asked the most is, “how do you do it all?!” I only work about 10-15 hours a week and yet I manage two membership sites, dozens of courses and workshops, and produce a weekly blog, podcast, and youtube video (not to mention the bajillion little tasks behind the scenes to keep it all running smoothly). Here’s the big secret: Know what tasks are MOST IMPORTANT (the money makers, the QBR, the needle movers, the linchpin tasks, whatever you want to call them) and which are inside of your genius zone. Any tasks that don’t fit that bill can and should eventually be delegated off the visionary’s plate (in my biz, that’ me!). In this episode I share the 9 new tasks I’m delegating (previously I was ONLY delegating Pinterest management, YouTube posting, and Podcast editing) and why-- along with a list of tasks I’m keeping on my plate (for now). 031: The Advice I Received Today That I WON'T Be Taking (And Exactly Why)
031: The Advice I Received Today That I WON'T Be Taking (And Exactly Why)
The words “triggered” and “mansplain” aren’t typically in my regular vocabulary, but as a woman business owner in my 20’s I’ve received PLENTY of condescending comments and emails. One that I received this morning, however, was so problematic (in my opinion) that I wanted to break it down line by line and share it with you today. I am glad that I’ve developed tough enough skin (though handling criticism is something I’ve openly struggled with) and did not take this persons words to heart-- because I know I have the data to back up the decisions he was questioning. If you can relate and receive similar comments and messages- I hope this will give you some helpful tips and strategies to decide if criticism is founded and constructive-- OR if it’s something you should brush off and stay the course. Yes-- this is a little different than most episodes (RANT warning) but I hope starting this conversation will in some small way help open others’ minds as this person did mine. IMPORTANT NOTE: I cannot definitively comment on or speculate on someone's race or identified gender and did not intend to do so. Regardless, my opinion of the comments made stand firm.

029: Launching a Business in 2020 (Unpopular Opinion)
It’s May 2020, and we are right in the middle of the COVID-19 crisis and all of the uncertainty that comes with it. I’ve been paying attention to the conversations happening on podcasts, YouTube channels, and inside Facebook groups, and I’ve actually been quite surprised at the comments being made. Understandably, a lot of people are feeling scared and stuck, and like their dreams are on pause. However, the surprising part to me is that a lot of prospective business owners are completely HALTING their plans, instead of adapting them and continuing to move forward. And I have thoughts about that.

028: 10 Questions to Ask Before Choosing a Business Coach or Mentor
028: 10 Questions to Ask Before Choosing a Business Coach or Mentor
Whether you are looking to start or grow a business, you will have many options along the way in terms of accelerating your path to success. There are free resources like blogs and YouTube, paid educational products and programs like online courses, as well as coaches or consultants that work one-on-one with clients. This is a good list of questions to consider whenever you decide to invest in a mentor, expert, or “guru”, whether you are only investing your time (to watch their free content, for example) or your hard earned money to learn from them. However, since one-on-one coaches and consultants tend to be the most expensive option in terms of accelerating your success in business, it is absolutely crucial to choose the right person that fits your needs and goals (in addition to your budget!). Making the best choice for you will have a major positive impact on your business and could easily change the entire trajectory of your life.  Because this decision is so important, I want to give you my own personal checklist I use to choose my own mentors, whether I am considering buying their paid course or hiring them to coach me individually.

027: How One Brick and Mortar Business Owner is Adapting (and Thriving!) In Light of COVID-19
In this week’s episode you get to hear from Krystyne Wilson, a brick-and-mortar indoor playground owner from Kokomo, Indiana! In the past month or so since the COVID-19 crisis, I have admired Krystyne’s ability to adapt and alter her business to fit the changing needs of her customers. Not only has she found several ways to continue to generate sales despite being forced to close the play portion of her facility, but she has also managed to keep her staff working and providing for their families AND continues to involve her own family in the process. Even if you don’t own a brick-and-mortar business, SO much of Krystyne’s insight can be applied to any industry-- especially regarding changes we ALL need to consider for post COVID-19 life. 026: The Only Piece of Business Advice I Have For You Right Now
026: The Only Piece of Business Advice I Have For You Right Now
Just because some businesses have been deemed non-essential, does not mean they can’t find safe ways to continue serving their audiences, whether its through video, or podcasts, or emails, or books-- whichever medium you choose to communicate through. Non-essential does not mean unimportant or unneeded. But here’s the thing-- and here’s the advice I want you to keep in mind. Some of us are struggling.  Yes, we are ALWAYS living in an uncertain world. At any given time we could lose an important client or god forbid a loved one, or there could be a natural disaster, you get the gist. Our lives and businesses could be disrupted and uprooted at any given moment regardless of world events-- I understand that. I’m not here to spread fear or unnecessary worry. But I do want to be honest. Things are not “business as usual” right now. So be kind. Be kind to your team. To other business owners. To your clients and customers. Let's get through this together.

024: Validating your Local Business Concept in 5 Steps
024: Validating your Local Business Concept in 5 Steps
Validating your business idea and deciding if the business model you hope to run can be profitable in your area will help give you clarity on whether or not you should move forward, whenever the time is right for you personally and financially. It can help you to FINALLY stop wondering “what if?” so you can move onto “when”. OR, if you decide that your “dream” would NOT be successful in your area, you can progress into, “what’s next”. Either way, you’ll be looking at a much clearer picture. Plus, if you SKIP this validation process, you run the very real risk of opening a business that is doomed from day-1 for failure (but more about that in the episode). I don’t want that for you, and I hope you don’t want that for yourself! So, let’s walk through the validation process I take all of my clients who would like to open a brick-and-mortar business through-- and just a side note- Some of the concepts in this episode are specific for a brick and mortar business model like funding, but most of the concepts can be applied to your planning process regardless of the type of business you’re hoping to open. 023: 5 Good Reasons to NEVER Open a Brick-and-Mortar Business
023: 5 Good Reasons to NEVER Open a Brick-and-Mortar Business
You can call this my “tough love” episode for all of my brick-and-mortar hopefuls -- but try to think of this episode as a fun, lighthearted look into the more nitty gritty side of what YOU can expect once you put pen to paper and sign that lease-- because it would NOT be fair to only share the good stuff here. This is NOT meant to discourage anyone from pursuing their physical-location dreams but rather to force you to do some self-reflection and have some of the tough conversations with your spouse or family I’m going to mention BEFORE you make a decision you regret. That’s my goal with this episode! While a brick and mortar business endeavor isn’t for everyone-- it CAN be so rewarding and fulfilling for the right kind of person. So, is that you? Let’s find out! 022: 4 Underused Ways to Utilize Online Courses and E-Learning to Scale Your Business
022: 4 Underused Ways to Utilize Online Courses and E-Learning to Scale Your Business
It’s 2020 and online courses and e-learning are hotter than ever.  If you haven’t integrated e-learning into your service-based business yet, you ARE missing out and you WILL fall behind this year and in future years.  When I talk to fellow service-based business owners about adding an online course or a digital information product like an e-book to their business, they usually have at least 1 of 2 objections. And maybe you can relate to these.  The first objection they have is, “how would I ever have time to create and launch an online course?”... sound familiar? The second objection they have is usually, “But I don’t see how online courses could fit into my business.” If you can relate to either of these or if these are objections or doubts you often tell yourself, I hope this episode inspires you and helps you to get started using online courses to boost and scale your business-- even if you start small. DM me on Instagram if you have any questions or to share how you're using these strategies!

021: 4 Beliefs and Habits I am Leaving in 2019 (HELLO 2020!)
021: 4 Beliefs and Habits I am Leaving in 2019 (HELLO 2020!)
As I look back on this year (2019), SO much of it was amazing.  I enrolled hundreds of people into Play Cafe Academy (and thousands more into my other programs!) and I was able to connect with some truly amazing people. However, this year was pretty challenging for me personally. I dealt a lot with limiting beliefs and never feeling “good enough”-- and facing criticism and copycats online.  I focused way too much on what others thought and I limited my growth as a result. In this short & sweet (very honest) episode I'm sharing the 4 specific things I am challenging myself to leave in 2019-- and ELIMINATE (or cut-back on drastically) in 2020. 020: The Year of SCALE (2020)- Part 3 of 3
020: The Year of SCALE (2020)- Part 3 of 3
This is part 3, the final part of a 3-part series of episodes, beginning back at episode 18. As a quick recap, in the last 2 episodes, I walked through choosing a yearly word of intention in both 2018 and 2019 and how I used those words to shape each of those years. In 2018, my word was NO, and all year I practiced saying NO to tasks that were not going to move the needle in my business and delegating any and all tasks that I didn’t NEED to handle personally as the business owner. In 2019, this year we are currently wrapping up, my word was STEADY, and all year I have worked on developing consistency in my routine and really solidifying my business' foundation and polishing and perfecting all of my digital products and courses. In 2020, the word that I chose is SCALE.  I am going to take the time and space I freed up for myself in 2018 and the foundation I created in 2019 and in 2020 I am taking everything to the next level. I want to increase my revenue, of course, but more importantly, my goal is to increase my IMPACT and reach even MORE people struggling in business so that we can grow and achieve our dreams together. 019: The Year of STEADY (2019)- Part 2 of 3
019: The Year of STEADY (2019)- Part 2 of 3
In episode 18 I shared why I started setting a yearly word of intention back in 2017 and I walked you through that first year and which steps I took to make a significant change in the way I lived my life and ran my business. As a quick reminder, in 2018, I finally stopped doing tasks that should have been delegated to my other team and I scrapped a lot of tasks entirely that simply weren’t moving the needle at all in my business- such as spending time stalking weather reports and our competition. In TODAYS episode I am going to reveal what I did with all that extra time and why, and what results I can reveal as we begin to wrap up the year. Let’s dig into 2019-- The year of STEADY.

018: The Year of NO (2018)- Part 1 of 3
018: The Year of NO (2018)- Part 1 of 3
As the year wraps up, planning for the coming year is at the top of my mind. While I am nowhere near yet done with 2019 and the impact I want to make before January, I am allocating time for reflection and goal-setting. Something that I began doing at the end of 2017 is choosing one single word of intention that would be the theme of my entire year, as it related to business at least, though sometimes it permeated into my personal life as well, as the two are so often intertwined when you own a small business and even more so when you co-own it with your spouse as I do. This is going to be a 3-part episode and this is part 1. In this episode, I am going to walk through my thought process for that first year that I set a word of intention which was 2018. If the title didn’t give it away-- 2018 was the year of NO.  Saying no to unnecessary tasks, saying no to things that didn’t move me closer to my goals, and saying NO to the desire to please everyone. I am SO excited for this 3-parter and I hope that it sheds even more light on how sustainable businesses come to be and how you can learn from some of my lessons and mistakes and hopefully avoid them for yourself.

017: 9 Tips to Prepare for your First (or NEXT) Guest Speaking Gig
A few weeks back I was lucky enough to speak at a conference here in Rochester New York called Upstate Social Sessions. And even better, I got to teach a workshop on one of my FAVORITE topics ever-- Facebook Ad Strategy. I definitely had butterflies when I got the OK to speak, I won’t lie. But instead of procrastinating and getting nervous, I got right to work on figuring out not only how to provide the BEST, most valuable content to the people who were paying to be in those seats, but also how I could extend an invitation to continue learning from me and potentially become customers or clients. So I wanted to share the steps I took to make this happen with YOU today so that if you have an event coming up, whether it’s a podcast interview, a guest blog post spot, or a speaking gig on stage, you’ll know exactly how to prepare and how to make the most of the opportunity and also maybe avoid some of the mistakes I made, which I won’t be making the next time opportunity knocks. 016: The 4 Big Differences Between my Free and Paid Content
016: The 4 Big Differences Between my Free and Paid Content
As a content creator, one of the most COMMON objections I get from prospective customers is, “well, you put SO much content out there for free, so why would I ever purchase one of your paid digital products or programs?”. And at first, this question would really bug and nag at me, and I would roll my eyes behind my computer screen every time I saw this type of email or comment come through. But now, a few years into the game, I understand it a lot more, and I slowly had to realize that my annoyance was not a result of THEIR ignorance, but rather my failure to really nail my marketing message and help potential customers understand the difference between my free and paid content. So, I have done some work on my marketing messaging for ALL my paid programs recently to really help guide my potential customers into choosing whether they want to continue consuming free content or whether they want to actually pull out their credit card and purchase one of my paid products or programs. And now I want to share that with you. Because if my customers are struggling with this, yours probably are as well. So let's talk about the biggest differences between free and paid content and really get some clarity around the topic inside this episode. Have questions? Follow me on Instagram here. 015: Behind-the-Scenes of Building a 7-Figure Online Course Business with Courtney Foster-Donahue
In today’s episode, I’m chatting with 7-figure business owner Courtney Foster-Donahue! Courtney did not know this before the episode but her Facebook Framework course was actually the FIRST online course I ever purchased and it (to put it lightly) opened up a whole new word to me. Courtney shares what she studied in school (nope, not marketing or business), how she started on her entrepreneurial journey (hint: her first businesses was NOT an online business, in-fact it was very different!) as well as what her business looks like now and who she serves. Courtney also breaks down how her business has evolved over time, WHO should create an online course and WHEN, and how she helps people put together powerful programs that facilitate a transformation, NOT just teach on a topic. If you’re wondering: If an online course could help scale your business (or not!) What to do if your market seems to be ALREADY saturated How you can validate your course concept What advice a 7-figure online course business owner would give to someone just starting out How to promote your different priced products Then this episode is for YOU! 014: 6 Changes I'm (Already) Making to my Membership Site After Launching
It’s been about a month and a half since I switched my pay-in full course, Play Cafe Academy, over to a membership model. While it’s way too soon to see if a membership model is going to work or not, I am in the process of making a few tweaks to the program and it’s pricing so I wanted to share them with you. So therefore this isn’t part 2 of my membership episode that I promised, it’s more like part 1.5. I am going to see how these small tweaks do and then evaluate again after my next launch which is coming up in just over a month, so I will be sure to release the official part 2 of my membership podcast episode series around that time, so stay tuned-- that on’s still coming.  But for now, lets break down the 6 small changes I am making that I really believe will make a BIG impact on my revenue and also on the success my members get. 012: Making the BIG Shift From a Course Model to a Membership Model
This episode is about WHY I switched one of my programs from a course model to a membership model. If you’re not sure what that means or why it matters-- don’t worry, I’ll explain. This is going to be a 2 parter because in this episode, part 1, I want to share with you WHY I came to this decision, and which factors I considered while making the decision. In part 2, which might come out next week, maybe in a few weeks, whenever I feel like I’m ready-- I want to share with you exactly HOW I made the switch, and what the results were. In this episode you will get to hear about all 9 factors I considered before making the switch from a course to membership model and how I thought through each one and ultimately made the change.

011: 3 Steps to Take when your Campaign Fails
011: 3 Steps to Take when your Campaign Fails
The thing I love MOST about marketing is when a campaign takes off. Celebrating successes with clients is the kind of satisfying high that draws people into the marketing industry. The HARDEST thing about working in this field, though, is when an advertising campaign or initiative completely flops. And we’ve certainly been there.  Even though this episode is technically about what we do when a client campaign fails, this will work if you’re doing your own launches and campaigns as well. I am going to give you the 3 steps you MUST take to turn things around and end with a win, including an example of when we had to take those steps with one of our own launches. 009: Need to Reinvigorate your E-mail List? Try This Simple Strategy to Get Them to FINALLY Convert
If you have been building an email list for some time, even if it’s a small one, I want to share a strategy with you that has REALLY been working for us recently. If you’ve been at this for a few months or more, there are likely subscribers on your list that have already consumed your free content, have already seen your lower priced offers, and have already been presented with your higher ticket paid offers and for whatever reason, didn’t convert.  Maybe the timing wasn’t right or the bonuses you were offering weren’t right or they just didn’t quite know, like, or trust you enough at that time to pull out their credit card and make a purchasing decision.  Or maybe you have a list of people who HAVE converted to your lower priced offer, consumed and likely implemented that information, but just have not upgraded yet to your full program or booked your consulting or coaching services. So-- the question now is, HOW to we get them off the fence and into your programs? And not only into your programs, but reinvigorated and EXCITED about next steps? Let me share a strategy with you that made us $14,000 last week with only $30 spent in ads- all by putting a repackaged offer in front of our current email list! 007: The Best Way to get Real Estate Seller Leads and what ANY Business Can Learn From It
007: The Best Way to get Real Estate Seller Leads and what ANY Business Can Learn From It
Digital Brand Envy Anyone who is a real-estate agent or has worked with a real-estate agent knows that motivated seller leads are kind of the “holy-grail” result when it comes to marketing.  Real estate seller leads give agents connections to people who are interested in selling their property, and generally when we say LEAD we mean the agent is able to collect the information of that interested person, ideally email address AND phone number. By filling an agent’s sales funnel with motivated seller leads, agents and brokers can increase their opportunities to make sales and close deals. Whether you ARE a real estate agent or you market for them OR if you own really any type of business that relies on a flow of incoming leads and customers to survive then this episode is definitely for you. That’s right- ANY business owner can get a ton of value from this episode. Typically BUYER leads are pretty easy to come by. You stage a home nicely, get some professional photographs or even video and throw them up on your website and social media and whatever listing sites you utilize and you can expect leads to come in pretty quickly, of course depending on the state of the market, time of year, etc. SELLER leads are more of an art to obtain.  Because instead of being attracted to a listing or a house, someone has to be interested in YOU and your services. They have to know they can trust you with not only selling their home in a timely manner but also to  handling the process with professionalism and expertise in order to get them, the buyer, the HIGHEST possible sale price And earning that trust can be both an art, and a science, especially on social media. Now old-school real estate agents back in the day would plaster their faces all over busses, park benches, flyers, newspapers, magazines, anywhere they can. And while all of that is still being done and can be effective when done right, social media and digital marketing, even SEO, all that is changing the GAME for real-estate agents and offering a unique opportunity to find and connect with potential sellers. So I wanted to share ten tips with you to increase the QUANTITY and QUALITY of the real estate seller leads you are generating. You will notice that all of these really specific tips have a common theme, which ties back to the title of this episode, “The Best Way to Get MORE Real Estate Seller Leads (and what ANY Business can Learn from it)”.   This central theme is creating quality content in a strategic way that positions YOU as the go-to expert and helps your audience connect with you in a way that establishes know, like, and trust, which will eventually move your audiences closer to becoming leads and ultimately working with you, either with selling their home if you’re a real estate agent or booking your services if you’re in any other service based business.  If you're looking for more in-depth information on content marketing and getting seller-leads, visit digitalbrandenvy.com and join us- I'd love to be the first to welcome you inside the membership!

006: The 4 Biggest Mistakes we See Holding Business Owners Back
006: The 4 Biggest Mistakes we See Holding Business Owners Back
After being in the online marketing world since roughly 2009 when I was a social media strategist for a fortune 500 company, I have definitely seen both brands and individuals rise and fall in this space.  You may be familiar with one of my favorite phrases, “success leaves clues”, which refers to the notion that successes rarely occur overnight. Rather they are a result of strategic steps and routines that got the person or brand to the level you may be deeming as “successful”. Well, failure leaves behind PLENTY of clues as well. Now just to clarify, I really don’t believe there are any failures in online marketing. Sure, you can fall short of a goal, have a program that’s struggling, or have a product that doesn’t seem to be selling, but to me, the only failure is quitting. There’s always new strategies you can try, tweaks you can make, and new products to create and launch. After all, if you take any example of a successful entrepreneur you can bet they have about ten times as many failures as they do successes. Having been working with these clients for a few years now, I have definitely noticed some common trends. The 4 mistakes we are going to go through in this episode are by far the most common mistakes we see people making when they come to use.  To give you a preview, here are the 4 mistakes holding clients back that I’ll be discussing in this episode: Getting Paralyzed by Perfection Delegating the WRONG Tasks Being TOO Reactive Abandoning Instead of Optimizing If you need ANY extra help or if you just want a team of experts to have eyes on your business to make help you uncover some hidden things that may be hurting your sales or your numbers, just go to digitalbrandenvy.com and join us inside the membership, I can’t WAIT to welcome you there.

004: What is "Content" and What Exactly Should We Be "Creating" as Business Owners?
Olivia, our Director of Content for TCG and Educator inside Digital Brand Envy, and I are taking a small step back and talk about content creation and why it matters NOW more than ever.  Previous episodes have described content creation plans and how they fit into a sales funnel but what we haven’t gotten into much yet is what content actually means and WHY it’s such a crucial part of any business’ process. Especially in the first half of 2019 we have seen a direct correlation between a business owner’s success and their willingness to create original content.  What you will learn in this episode: What qualifies as “content” and how it can impact your business How you can repurpose content to save time and resources Exactly what type of content you should be focusing on, depending on your industry Which types of content WE and our clients are seeing the most success with Where this “content” should be shared for maximum impact Even if you're just getting started out as an influencer OR you're in network marketing-- there is something for YOU in this episode! 003: [Case Study] Taking a Funnel from $0 to $7k Per Month Without Ads
003: [Case Study] Taking a Funnel from $0 to $7k Per Month Without Ads
We are diving into a case study that will give you an exact example of a creative way to get from NOTHING to generating thousands per month. I will show you how you can make some money on the front end of your funnel OR cover your ad spend if you’re running ads, and increase your conversion rate to your higher-priced product or service because you are getting customers in your business and blowing them away with your expertise and value. This example is going to break down how we added a low-priced offer to a sales funnel, sometimes referred to as a tripwire, leading to a higher-ticket course. But regardless of what type of business you own, this will definitely give you some inspiration and actionable ideas, so don’t tune out if you don’t sell online education products. This is a good one and we are giving you ALL the details of the exact funnel we have in place today that generates between 5 and 7 thousand dollars per month with NO ads- this is all organic content marketing and we launched it just 5 months ago.  Now I’m going to warn you, I am going to get super detailed and break down the exact funnel BEFORE we added the lower priced offer, so you can see how the change had made a difference. But don’t skip to the end because this whole podcast will give you a plan of action to replicate this type of content marketing strategy in your own business. This is actually one of those episodes where I almost didn’t record it because I thought ugh, this is TOO valuable and way too specific. But, I recorded it anyways. Thanks for listening! 001: The 5 Steps We Give Our Clients Who Are Just Getting Started
001: The 5 Steps We Give Our Clients Who Are Just Getting Started
Whether you are starting your business from scratch, looking to make a pivot, looking to add a new sector or stream of revenue to your business, OR if you’re curious about what steps you might take in that scenario, this episode is for you. In this episode I walk you through the exact steps we take our clients through to get their new product , service, or offer up and running and selling consistently using a simple sales funnel. This is going to be a high-level overview of each step but we will be continuing to dissect each of them further in upcoming episodes. Before you listen- I just have to say, DON'T let the term funnel throw you off. A sales funnel doesn’t have to be complicated or have 25 steps or tons of moving parts to be effective. Remember, a sales funnel is just the way you attract customers and then move them closer to  a buying decision, and ultimately hopefully convert them into a customer.  Most existing businesses HAVE, or they SHOULD have, sales funnels or processes, but maybe they’re not automated or optimized or maybe they’re not converting as well as they should. What we help clients with is setting up their sales processes and funnels so that they not only result in a significant increase in revenue but also result in freeing up key people in the business to do more intentional work and not do a ton of intervention in the process that is better off being automated. If you’re feeling a little lost, don’t worry. Just know that the goal here is to generate more passive income for your business so you can do more of whatever it is you do best and ENJOY doing so you can live out your dreams as a business owner. In this episode you will learn about each step in the 5 step process we give to our clients: Step number 1: Identify your ideal customer Step 2: Put Together a Content Creation Plan Step 3: Create a Lead Magnet Step 4: Write an Amazingly Valuable Nurture Sequence Step 5: Create Your Offer If you want to get really next level with this stuff, head over to digitalbrandenvy.com and join us inside our membership community- I’d love to welcome you there!
