News of the Coronavirus is everywhere you turn. Everything has shut or is shutting down as we speak. Schools and many social events are cancelled and now many have to work from home to prevent continuous spread of the virus throughout the community. If you're an intermittent faster, you might be wondering how you're gonna make it being at home all day with a kitchen stocked with food! Martie created this episode just for you.
While it may sound scary, there are some things we can do to prevent the virus from spreading throughout our communities. Washing your hands thoroughly is the best place to start. If you have kids, making sure they also wash their hands constantly, is key! Keeping away from large crowds, protecting and keeping an eye out for the elderly. They are the most vulnerable to this virus.

Episode 24: Will This Break My Fast?
This is a common question among intermittent fasters. However understanding what happens when you fast is really important. Knowing “why” you are fasting is equally important. On this week’s episode Martie talks about clean fasting, knowing why you are fasting and your desired outcome as a result of fasting will help you figure out what you can and cannot have during your fast.

Losing weight is great but having to deal with loose skin is a headache! What if you could lose weight with minimal loose skin left on your body? What???!!! Yes, it is possible to have minimal loose skin with weight loss. On this week’s episode Martie talks about the effects of losing weight through intermittent fasting and how using this healthy route to losing weight can help you not only lose the weight you’ve wanted to get rid of for so long but can also help you do it with minimal loose skin left lingering on your body. This is not an episode about how to not have loose skin, its an episode on how to reduce the amount of loose skin that you can end up having once you lose excess weight. If you lose weight, especially if its a lot of weight, you will have some loose skin but Martie talks about how going the intermittent fasting route to lose the weight can help you see less loose skin as you begin to drop those pounds! It happens to everyone! Don't think you're losing at this intermittent fasting life because you find yourself overeating every time you open your eating window. There are definitely some tools you can use to help keep you on track while your body continues to adjust to your new life. Interestingly enough, even long time fasters sometimes eat more than we should in our eating window.
