This is a story by the Brothers Grimm. I've put in two short stories with slight variations. It's a cute story. I hope you enjoy it.

This classic story has many versions but this version is one I had not read before so was interesting to me.  It's a lighthearted version of pure luck and quick thinking.

This is the original version of Puss In Boots. I decided to read it because of the current movie.  This version is a twist on the story.

At the end, I added another story so listen to the end and hear that one too.  It's a light hearted story with a moral message.

This is another of the stories that I had never read by Hans Christian Anderson that I found interesting.

It shows the true character of people who are only out for themselves in different ways and has an interesting outcome.

This has nothing to do with Christmas even thought the name implies it may.

This is the 2nd part of chapter 2 of the Sea Lady.   The story continues on after this for several more chapters but I won't be reading them.  Hopefully you have heard enough to want to go read it for yourself.

I was interested in these first 2 chapters because of the initial interaction between two different cultures or worlds.

This is the 2nd part of the story that H. G. Wells wrote about the mermaid that wanted to interact with humans.  I find it interesting that this story shows human nature in a different light, from the eyes of another life form that wants to be human.

While this story is a bit bizarre, as are all of HG Well's stories, this story reminded me of 2020.  Maybe you will see it too.

The Man Who Could Work Miracles by H. G. Wells is a story I hadn't heard before so I thought I would read it for those of you who may have not heard it either.  I love the way the story turns out at the end where we are not for sure what will happen but yet, we know the story is destined to repeat itself.
