#139- The Return Of Casey Corbin, & More!
This week on the show we have a couple of big things happening! First of all, we have now partnered with Freaktoyz, the premier toy and collectible store in Wisconsin! Please go check them out either at the shop in Sheboygan or online. Use code “Dorkside” to save 15% off your purchase. Second, we have a good friend of the show back as Canada’s own Casey Corbin comes on to talk about Full Gear and a whole lot more. It was great catching up as we haven’t seen him since All Out weekend and haven’t had him on the show since last November. We also hit on all the segments you know and love, albeit a tad abbreviated. Enjoy and have a great Thanksgiving!

#138- Wisconsin Death Trip
5.5 hours of driving. 322 miles. 2 wrestling shows. 1 awesome day. That was Sunday boiled down to its most simple form. This week we spend the bulk of the show running down ACW Wisconsin at Tanners and GCW at La Pica Lounge. It was so fun! We also chat about the Retro Raw from 11/16/98. We have a new "corporate" champion: The Rock! That is who Stone Cold Steve Austin set his sights on in the main event. We also briefly talk about AEW as we are headed toward Full Gear. Enjoy!

#136- Feeling Ucey
This week on the show we take a look back at a very decent Raw as we are on our way to crowning a new WWF champion at Survivor Series: Deadly Games. Vince McMahon is dealing some punishment to those who have wronged him and it's quite entertaining. We also chat about a great match that was recommended by @Purodad. From there, we get into the latest "Tales from the Territories", Jey Uso cracking on Smackdown, and the latest offerings from AEW. Enjoy!

#135- Tales From the Territories, Halloween Havoc & More!
Hey folks! This week on the show we take a look back on another Retro Raw in which Stone Cold Steve Austin has somehow gotten himself a new contract in the WWF. The signature on the contract says McMahon, but... You know the drill. We also take a look at some upcoming figure news and discuss the latest offerings from Tales From the Territories (focusing on Championship Wrestling From Florida) as well NXT's Halloween Havoc. We also chat about two episodes of Dynamite, Tales From The Territories, and a whole lot more. Enjoy!

#133- Corvette + Concrete = Awesome
This week on the show we took a look at the go home Raw to the Judgement Day PPV from way back in 1998. There has been no shortage of insane moments in the Retro Raw Review the past few weeks and this episode was no exception! We crowned a new IC champion, saw a returning superstar (two actually), and got another classic moment courtesy of Stone Cold Steve Austin. We also chat about Extreme Rules and the return of Bray Wyatt, AEW and GCW. Enjoy!

#132- Enter Mr. Socko, Tony's Troubles in AEW & More!
This week on the show we discuss the apparent turmoil that is going on behind the scenes at AEW. We don’t really know what is going on, but it doesn’t seem good. How will that affect the 3rd anniversary Dynamite? We’ll let you know next week. The history of pro wrestling that occurred on this day is also kind of a bummer. From there we look at another very memorable episode of Monday Night Raw where Austin kicked McMahons ass in a medical facility and Mr. Socko was born. To round out the show, we chat about ACW Wisconsin 49 that took place over the weekend, as well as Dynamite, Rampage, etc. Enjoy!

#131- Stone Cold: Zamboni Driver
This week on the show we spend a good hunk of time talking about a very memorable Retro Raw and the Breakdown PPV that proceeded it. Some great nuggets of information were dug up as we go over what occurred on this day in pro wrestling history. After that, we continue looking at the "white rabbit" storyline in the WWE, discuss the big AEW shows at Arthur Ashe Stadium, and Mat found a chase figure at the local Target!

#130 Follow the White Rabbit
This week on the show we chat about the ominous teasers that WWE has been dropping both during the breaks of their live shows and via a QR code that was in the background of Raw. We also discuss the latest offerings from AEW ahead of the big showdown at Arthur Ashe Stadium in NYC this week, where all of the titles will be on the line, including Chris Jericho possibly capturing the ROH World Championship. We also dissect the Monday Night Raw before the Breakdown PPV way back in 1998, as well as a ton of other stuff! Enjoy. Wrestling.

#129- AEW Championship Roulette
#129- AEW Championship Roulette
This week on the show it is business back to normal as we come off the high that was All Out weekend. No live wrestling was consumed, but we still have plenty to talk about. The Retro Raw Review is a couple weeks away from the Breakdown PPV and many of the matches this week did just that, Breakdown. We had a nice trip down memory lane with the DMJ recommended match with some ECW. We also say goodbye to NXT 2.0 on the one-year anniversary of its inception. All this and more. Enjoy!

#128- All Out Weekend 2022
We have a special treat for you listeners on the show this week as we run down an incredible weekend in the outskirts of the Windy City! After the history, Retro Raw Review, and news (that includes some awesome figure reveals from AEW Fan Fest), we get down to business. We go day by day and give the run down on what went down. Rampage Suite, check. 4 Cups Stuffed, check. Running into the AEW champion at Target hours before the big match at All Out, check! There is a lot to go through, and it is a fun ride. Big thanks to Casey Corbin, Matt McCarthy, and Vince Averill for some great hangs. Check them out on the Talk n’ Wrestling & We Watch Wrestling podcasts!

#127- All Set For All Out
The anticipation is palpable this week as the Dorkside train keeps chugging down the tracks to a huge wrestling weekend in Chicago! But before we get there, we have a lot to discuss. The Retro Raw Review focuses on the fallout from SummerSlam ’98 at MSG. Kane & The Undertaker are running roughshod over the entire locker room and Vince McMahon has a plan in place that will end SCSA’s championship reign. From there, we talk a bit of figure news before running down the latest offerings from AEW & WWE. Lastly, we give a brief itinerary for the weekend in the Second City. Enjoy!

#126- The Return of Omega & Gargano
This week on the show we discussed a couple of big-time returns! Kenny Omega came back on Wednesday to join the Young Bucks in their quest to be the inaugural AEW Trio’s champs. On Monday we saw Johnny Wrestling return to the WWE! It is an awesome time to be a pro wrestling fan. We also dissected a very good Raw as we are days away from SummerSlam ’98 in the Retro Raw Review (impromptu Hell in a Cell match, anyone?!) To round things out, we chatted about all of the recent happenings across the landscape of this great sport. We are also just days away from a killer weekend in Chicago for All Out. Enjoy!

#125- Punk Returns, Cardona Nuptials & More!
This week on the show we kick thing off with a dose of “On This Day” that is heavy on the G1 and SummerSlam stuff. From there the WWF is on the Highway to Hell in the Retro Raw Review. Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker are heading for a showdown, and we are here for it. We also got to see both semi-finals matches for the Brawl for All. Into the Dorkness is heavy with Micro Brawler news, and after that we toss a bunch of ingredients in the Wrestling Stu. Dynamite, Rampage, GCW Homecoming and more are all discussed. Enjoy!

#124- Three AEW Shows, ACW All Star Rumble & More!
This week on the show we sit down to chat about the three offerings from AEW this week (I had no idea that Battle of the Belts was happening until after it happened). Adam keeps us up to speed on Raw, and we go over a great match from ECW's Guilty as Charged 1999 show as Super Crazy did battle with a young Tajiri. The Retro Raw Review was pretty cringeworthy this week as the WWF welcomed John Wayne Bobbitt to have a segment with Val Venus, Chyna mooned the crowd and the Brawl for All's quarterfinals wrapped up. All that and more. Enjoy!

#123- Thoughts on SummerSlam, Flair's Last Match & More!
On the show this week we talk all about the two biggest shows of the last week: WWE’s SummerSlam and Ric Flairs Last Match. We watched them both and for the most part enjoyed both offerings. The Retro Raw Review got into the 2nd round of the Brawl for All, as well as a tag match that featured the top 3 stars in the company. We had a very stylish “Into the Dorkness” as Mat added two RSVLT shirts to the wardrobe as well as some Ric Flair Micro Brawlers. Other than that, we discuss anything that popped into out heads. Enjoy!

#122- Vince Retires, SDCC Reveals & More!
This week on the show we talk about all sort of stuff, but at the top of the card has to be the fact that Vince McMahon has retired from the WWE. What a crazy sentence to write. The next few months will be very interesting as far as the pro wrestling landscape goes. The Retro Raw was fun and introduced a new Undertaker theme and the SCSA Smoking Skull belt. We also run down some highlights from the Mattel SDCC Comic Con reveals, and a whole lot more. Enjoy!

This week on the show, Adam is back Bay Bay! In the Retro Raw Review, we take a look at the go home show to the first Fully Loaded show (it’s also the show where HHH gets a woman in the crowd to remove her top) We almost pass by Into the Dorkness completely, but Adam had a couple of the new ZST figures so we checked those out. Then we ran down a whole lot of topics in The Stu. Enjoy!

#120- Another Singles Match For Matty
This week on the show Mat is once again solo as Adam is under the weather. No worries, though, he will be back next week and we will keep on keepin’ on! The Retro Raw Review this week revolves around whether or not The Undertaker is in cahoots with Kane. We got info on the Mattel SDCC exclusive figure (or figures, in this case!) and in The Wrestling Stu, I went over a bunch of stuff including Dynamite, Rampage, the Vince McMahon scandal, Kevin Nash’s podcast and more. #118- Busting Through the Forbidden Door!
#118- Busting Through the Forbidden Door!
Hey Gang! This week on the show is another solo run, so please bear with me. “On This Day” has a couple memorable moments that include a destroyed championship title belt and a double murder! The Retro Raw Review is a pretty classic episode as we see a debut, a return, and the start of the “Brawl for All” and the total debacle that was. Kane also defended the WWF Championship only 24 hours after winning it (in unceremonious fashion) at KOTR. From there I did my best to recollect all of the pro wrestling that Adam and I took in since the last show. It was a ton. I forgot some, I’m sure, but oh well! See you next week, hopefully with Adam. Cheers!

#117- What a Wrestling Weekend Ahead!
This week on the show Matty is solo as Adam is on hiatus. It's all good in the hood, though, because the show is dropping early and Adam will be back to watch a ton of live pro wrestling this weekend! The Retro Raw Review this week was very memorable and the visual heading into KOTR was a sight you have to see. Into the Dorkness was collapsed this week and in The Wrestling Stu, Mat runs down the itinerary for the week, which if you count JWA last Saturday, includes 6 shows in 8 days! Dynamite, ACW: Wisconsin, NRW, Warrior Wrestling and Forbidden Door will all be discussed next week. Hope to see some of you at these shows. Cheers!

#116- NJPW Dominion 2022 & More!
This week on the show we have a good old time chatting about all thing professional wrestling. In the Retro Raw Review, we are just two weeks away from KOTR 1998 and the Hell in a Cell match that would change the course of history (and the lives of Mick Foley & The Undertaker). Not too much in the way of figure news, so Into the Dorkness is a bit condensed. The Stu is full of all sorts of goodness including a run down of the recent Dominion show from NJPW and there’s a lot to talk about as we are on our way to The Forbidden Door in Chicago. Enjoy!

#115- The Injury Bug Is Biting!
Hey guys and gals, we hope you enjoy a slightly abbreviated version of the show this week. We got all the segments in, just spent a little less time yapping due to some scheduling conflicts. The bulk of the conversation revolves around just how many stars are currently out of commission. This was spurred on by the Punk and Cody news, but there are plenty more. Here's hoping that things start to sort themselves out as we are heading toward a milestone PPV in Chicago at Forbidden Door. Enjoy!

This week on the show we chat about the go home WWF Raw to the first Over the Edge PPV. After that we take some time to digest all of the bobblehead offerings heading our way from Forever Collectibles and run down a decent list of new arrivals to our personal collections. Then to finish up, we detail our experience as a vendor/sponsor of ACW: Wisconsin’s Water City WrestlingCon. It was a fantastic experience and I hope you enjoy the rundown! #112 Dylan Postl Talks All Things ACW: Wisconsin
This week on the show we run down all the usual segments that you know and love in a bit of a condensed format, with good reason. Former WWE Superstar and fellow Wisconsin native Dylan Postl, AKA Swoggle sits down to chat all things ACW Wisconsin! Dylan runs down the genesis of ACW and talks about how it has transformed into one of the best independent wrestling promotions, not only in the state, but the country. We also talk about this week’s upcoming Water City Wrestling Con, and try to piece together what happened last year as well. It has been very cool getting to know Dylan the past couple of years and we can’t wait to have him back on the show. Enjoy!

#111- WrestleMania Backlash Backlash
This week on the show we begin to brace ourselves for what is a jam-packed slate of live professional wrestling on the horizon! We will get more into the itinerary next week, but this week we spend a good amount of time looking back at the Retro Raw from 5/11/98. The SCSA / Vince McMahon rivalry is beginning to heat up as the boss is stacking the deck against the rattlesnake. We also sat down together and really enjoyed WrestleMania Backlash! Just about every match delivered and it was a fun one. It’s slim pickin’s as far as figure news goes, but there’s a tad bit. We also talk about all of the current wrestle chat whether it’s on the screen, podcasts, or wherever. Enjoy

#110- NJPW Dontaku, Jacob F'N Fatu & More
This week on the show we chat about so many topics! In “On This Day” we talk about a very real (but kayfabed) injury to Andre the Giant and the first UK only WWE PPV. The Retro Raw was a doozy this week, headlined by some footage that was “accidentally” recorded between Jerry Lawler and Paul Bearer. Lots of new things added to the collection at the end of “Into the Dorkness” including a 1/100 chase Sting Micro Brawler! We spend the remainder talking about Jacob Fatu vs. Bandito, NJPW Dontaku and a ton of other things that came across the wrestling radar this week. Enjoy!

On the show this week we check out the inaugural WWF Unforgiven show, complete with the first ever Inferno (and evening gown) Match as well as dissect the Monday Night Raw that followed it.  It is quite memorable as it's the show where the DX Army try to invade WCW Nitro, that was being held a mere 15 minutes down the road from the arena. We also have a ton of Micro Brawlers added to the PC, and talk all about the current events that are happening around the wrestling landscape. Thanks to each and every one of you for the support! The Retro Raw Review is giant this week, as we cover two episodes. A lot has changed. SCSA is the WWF Champion, and both he and The Rock have shiny new championship title belts to show off. Into the Dorkness includes some of the Mattel reveals and a lot of new things make their way into the collection. After that, we have very little in the way of figure news, but Mat adds quite a few pieces to the collection. Then, although it is still very fresh, we chat about the untimely passing of Mat's favorite wrestler: Scott Hall. We spend a little time on it, but ultimately a tribute bonus podcast is in order. #100- We Need To Talk About Cody
This week on the show we chat about all sorts of stuff. The Cody Rhodes situation takes center stage in the "Wrestling Stu". Is it all a work, or is he really gone from AEW? Part of the fun is that we don't know. And admit it, as much as we all like to hear about what goes on behind the scenes and predict what will happen next, we love to be genuinely surprised! We also talk about the beginning of Brutus Beefcake's "barber" persona, as well as run down a fairly lackluster Monday Night Raw as the "Retro Raw Review" keeps on trucking toward WrestleMania 14. From the debuts to the Texas deathmatch main event, it was incredible. Mat runs down what happened at ACW Wisconsin’s show at Tanners over the weekend. #91- A Very Memorable Raw Review, RIP Jimmy Rave & More
This week on the show, we take a look at a very memorable episode of Raw in the Retro Review. Three major things happened: The Rock referred to himself as “The People’s Champion”, Stone Cold Steve Austin tossed the IC Championship over a bridge and Vince McMahon graced us with the “passé” promo. We talk about Brock Lesnar in overalls befriending Sami Zayn, which was gold. We also get into some sad news regarding Jimmy Rave who left us too early this past week. Check out his stuff, and check in on your pals this time of year. The holidays in general can be tough, and with a global pandemic happening, it’s even worse. Thanks to everyone who listens to this show, I appreciate YOU! Check us out on the socials @DorksideOTR, if you’re so inclined, and please let us know what you like or dislike about the show. We have a great show lined up for you this week! All of the usual segments are represented. On the Retro Raw, everyone has put the Montreal incident in the rearview mirror (except Shawn Michaels) The Mattel Elite squad dropped a video late last week showcasing some new figures on the horizon so we discuss that. Mat unboxes the November Pro Wrestling Crate live on the show, then takes a stroll down memory lane and lists off his top 3 Survivor Series PPV's (as well as some notable moments) We also chat about Bryan Danielson's abrupt heel turn and Seth Rollins getting tackled by a "fan". This week on the show we talk about some very prolific Survivor Series in the “On This Day” segment. From there we chat about the Raw from Cornwall, Ontario, Canada that occurred just two days after the events in Montreal, although it aired 8 nights later. This was the show with the infamous “Bret screwed Bret” interview. We get a lot of Chella Toys news, and talk all about our weekend in Minnesota for AEW’s Full Gear. Enjoy!

#86- Casey Corbin, Montreal Screwjob Fallout & More!
Hey, gang! This week on the show you are in for a treat! As we travel down the road that is 1997 WWF, we have hit a major pothole that shook up not only the WWF, but the entire wrestling business. Most of us have seen and remember the incident that occurred at the 1997 Survivor Series, but what happened the following night on Raw is mostly forgotten. Well, someone who didn't forget was Canada's own Casey Corbin! This well know comic and all around awesome dude hops on with us to chat about that infamous weekend and a ton more! He couldn't have been a better fit for the show, and we hope to bring him back on soon. We chatted with Casey for almost an hour, and as a result, we compressed our normal segments down a bit, but I think you'll agree it was totally worth it. Be sure to check out his show, Talk n' Wrestling wherever you get your pods. Enjoy!

This week on the show we are taking a look back at a very pivotal moment in the Monday Night Wars, and the WWF in general. The Retro Raw Review is the 11/3/97 episode that is the go home show to The Survivor Series in Montreal! Into the Dorkness is a real cornucopia as we chat about figures that were announced from so many different lines from Micro Brawlers to Elites. We hit on some sad news about a couple of guys that wont be performing in a ring for a bit, and finish with an AEW heavy Whatchu Watchin?! Help the show by spreading the word to a friend that might like it. We appreciate you!

This week on the show, we have a nice helping of "On This Day" that included a few Halloween Havoc's, & HBK's first singles title. The Retro Raw Review is highlighted by Jim Cornette's opinion on the Icon word being thrown around a lot in the business. We have a wide array of figure news that includes retros, brawlers and more. Then we chat about all of the great wrestling that can be consumed on a weekly basis. GCW, AEW and NXT are just a few options! What a time to be a fan. #82- This Episode is Justin Credible!
This week on the show we have a bit of a long one! That's because in the main event we have an interview with former ECW Heavyweight Champion, Justin Credible aka: PJ Polaco. We had a great conversation about his time in the WWF, his transition to ECW and more. We thought about collapsing a segment, but instead decided to make it an extra large helping of wrestling goodness. In the Retro Raw Review, DX is finally named, and we are a month out from the Survivor Series in Montreal. Whatchu Watchin?! is headlined by a pair of GCW shows. All this and much more. Check it out, and if you dig it, tell a friend!

This week on the show, we take a look at all of the recent stuff, including Arn Anderson calling out Cody for being soft and a quick recap of the last five nights of the New Japan G1 Climax tournament. In the Retro Raw Review, we look at what might be the best episode we have covered so far (10/6/97 if you're playing along at home). HHH and HBK are in true sophomoric form, Melanie Pillman joins via satellite mere hours after her husband passed, and Jim Cornette spoke his mind about the state of the business. No one was safe during this segment. As always, thanks for the listen, an do us a solid by telling a friend about the show!

#80- Omega vs. Daniels, NJPW G1 Update & More!
This week on the show we chat about a Retro Raw that is really the bridge to a new era in the WWF. So many things change in the landscape in the next few days. A beloved man is lost too soon, and a character that was probably supposed to have a short run (that lasts over 20 years) will debut before next weeks segment. We also rundown nights 3,4,& 5 of the G1 tournament. If you haven't checked it out, you definitely should. It's fantastic! We also discuss everything else we have seen since we last sat down, which is a lot. Enjoy!

Hey gang! This week on the show we get things rolling with some "On This Day" before heading into the "Retro Raw Review" that featured one of the most pivotal shows as we truck on towards the Attitude Era. Austin stuns Vince, Cactus Jack shows up to confront HHH, and Bret Hart wrestles Goldust hours after being told that McMahon will not be honoring their 20 year contract. It's good stuff. After that we have a bit of news before going into "Whatchu Watchin?!" where we discuss the first two nights of the NJPW G1 tournament, NXT 2.0, and much more. Thanks for the listen, and if you dig the show, let a friend know about it. We appreciate it more than you know!

#78- The Fallout From All Out, Enter Attitude & More!
This week on the show we discuss the fallout from All Out, which, I think has to be one of the best PPV’s in the last decade, if not all time. We run down some interesting stuff that occurred on this day in pro wrestling history, and review a Monday Night Raw that some say was the catalyst for the “Attitude” era. If you want to see Michael Hickenbottom in stuffed biker shorts, be sure to seek it out. We don’t have a ton of new to cover, so we quickly get into all of the glorious pro wrestling that was consumed over the last seven days. It’s a lot. And with NXT 2.0, Dark Side of the Ring and NJPW’s G1 starting this week, the content isn’t letting up anytime soon! Enjoy.

#77- What a Weekend in Chicago!
This week on the show we hit on all of the normal segments, but there’s a little something special as our Retro Raw Review returns to it’s normal form, and we do our best to verbally document our amazing weekend in Chicago! Who watched more live wrestling this week than us? Probably nobody! The weekend was book-ended by the AEW shows (Rampage & All Out), but there was so many other great things to see as well. We made some new friends along the way, ate over-priced ice cream bars and enjoyed every second of it. Shout out to GCW, the We Watch Wrestling Podcast and all of the cool people that made the weekend one for the record books. Enjoy!

This week on the show, we briefly hit on some "On This Day..." before giving a quick rundown on the special "Friday Night's Main Event" that acted as the go home to IYH: Ground Zero. We will get back to that next week, but the bulk of the show we talk about all of the pro wrestling we watched LIVE this week. We caught AEW Dark: Elevation, Dynamite AND Rampage this week from the UWM Panthers Arena in Milwaukee on Wednesday, then it was off to Waukesha, WI for ICW - Milwaukee's annual Insane 8 deathmatch tournament. It was two sides of the same awesome coin that is wrestling. Thanks for listening, and join us next week as we break down all of the Chicago shows we are about to take in. This week on the show, we chat about the biggest return possibly in professional wrestling history! It was well rumored and all but confirmed, but that didn't make it any less special. What an incredible scene. Then, we are forced to take somewhat of a detour from the Retro Raw Review, thanks to some tennis, but we make do. After that is a little figure news and some new arrivals, followed by a healthy dose of "Whatchu Watchin?!" that included one of the best three days of wrestling in awhile. Dropping this episode a little early as we are off to attend Dynamite in Milwaukee. Enjoy!

This week on the show it's a singles match as Mat is tackling the show solo style as Adam is on vacation. All the normal segments are covered, but it's a little strange without Adam's wit and insight. The Retro Raw Review is heading on a crash course to IYH: Ground Zero, and was a very pivotal episode in the shows history. Rocky Maivia sides with the Nation of Domination, and, although its not named, DX is formed with HBK, HHH, Chyna and a returning Rick Rude come together. After that we update some new signees for Zombie Sailor and give an update on the Mattel Creations crowd funded playset. We also hop in the way back machine to revisit SummerSlam 1997 and the Raw that followed it. This two day span was most notable for Stone Cold Steve Austin suffering a broken neck, and The Hitman capturing his 5th WWF Heavyweight Championship. Tons of other stuff is covered. The figure news is a little slow coming in as SDCC is happening in the next few days, but some stuff is starting to trickle out. How about that New Generation crowd funded playset?! Then we get into what we've been watching (other than the Bucks game that had us a tad distracted as we recorded). So many returns! Keith Lee, John Cena, Goldberg, and probably biggest of all, Fans! Anvil is even putting his goatee on the line. (do any of these get paid off, I don't think so). We also have a decent amount of news this week, including the first trickle of SDCC pre-orders. We cant wait for the Sgt. Slaughter Ultimate, and to see what the next few weeks bring! Mat adds a personal grail to the collection, and we cover what happened this week from WWE to AEW, GCW and ROH. AEW is on the road starting this week and WWE is right behind. ROH has their Best in the World PPV right around the corner as well! It's a fun time to be a fan. The news is also a bit lacking as we wait for SDCC and all of the figure reveals that will come with that. The floodgates will soon be open and I for one cannot wait! We are a bit light on the pro wrestling history and the figure news (SDCC is right around the corner), but we make up for it with a really good Retro Raw Review as we see Los Boricuas debut and things really start heating up ahead of The Canadian Stampede. We also have lots to talk about in the “Whatchu Watchin?!” segment as we get into all of the stuff that was presented on television and TWO live shows that were attended in our area. Frozen Tundra Wrestling an Wicked F’N Wisconsin were a stark contrast to one another, but both shows were very fun. Hope you enjoy the show, and if you like what we’re doing, share it with someone!

On the Retro Raw Review, we are in Johannesburg, South Africa (as well as Muncie, IN), but the show is mired in technical difficulties from a commentary standpoint. There’s not a ton of figure news after we already covered the huge Mattel reveal from last Thursday, but we choose our favorites. What were your favs from the Elite Squad panel? Also, what were your favorite matches from WrestleMania week? We would love to know! Follow the show @DorksideOTR and chime in.

#55- It's WrestleMania Week!
#55- It's WrestleMania Week!
That's right! WrestleMania week is upon us. Check last week's show for a bit of a preview! It's only Wednesday as we recorded this but we are already in the thick of things. "On This Day..." is very heavy on litigation this week and low on title changes, Mat had a brutal time putting together the "Retro Raw Review" due to the move over to Peacock, but we get it done. Several cool new things make their way into our collections, and we break down all of the shows we have devoured since last week. Join us for a special bonus episode Friday night, because just like WrestleMania itself, the amount of content that needs to be covered is just too much for one night!

We then break down all of the things we have seen since we last sat down, including an Insane match recommendation from Deathmatch Jake. At the end of the show we break down all that the WWE is going to offer up on the ever so quickly approaching WrestleMania week. #53- Dysfunction Interview, WrestleMania 13 Fallout & More!
Hey, gang! We have a great show lined up for you this week. We are hot on the heels of WrestleMania 13 as we continue on our weekly journey through the WWF circa 1997. Bret Hart has turned his back on the American fans, and The Undertaker is holding down the top spot in the company. Not a ton in the way of figure news, so "Into the Dorkness" is a little thin, but we more than make up for it when we interview a Wisconsin Independent legend at the end of the show. That's right Dysfunction makes his debut on the show in a great call in segment to promote ICW- Milwaukee's upcoming Insanity TV taping. All that and we also break down the recent offerings from WWE, NXT and AEW (Thunder Rosa vs. Britt Baker anyone?)

This week on the show we take a look at the past weekends big AEW Revolution PPV. Say what you want about the ending, which we had lots to say, but that was a great show. On the Retro Raw Review, things have changed drastically since last week. Gone are the RAW letters in the entrance. We now have a stage, pyro, and the Titan Tron! We are also less than two weeks from WrestleMania 13. Into The Dorkness gives us some possible Mattel Ultimate leaks, as well as some great additions to the PC's. We also discuss the recent ACW Wisconsin show in detail. Thanks for listening, and follow the show @DorksideOTR

This week on the show we have a good one for you! 1997 WWF Monday Night Raw is really heating up. we take a look at the In Your House: Final Four PPV ahead of the Retro Raw Review that included a challenge made to some local bingo hall wrestlers that was accepted on air by Paul Heyman. The WWF Championship has changed hands three times in five days. What a crazy time! #47- Macho (Brawler) Madness!
This week on the show we get right into it with a somewhat somber "On This Day In Pro Wrestling History" where we talk about a couple guys that we lost way too soon. The Retro Raw Review is focused on the Feb. 13th 1997 "Thursday Raw Thursday" special and it is a pivotal episode in the landscape of WWF. The world title is forfeited, and the IC changes hands. This has a major impact on the PPV that was only three days away. We then get into a controversial topic in the figure world. Pro Wrestling Tees' experimental Macho Man Micro Brawler drop that occurred last Friday. It was a wild day for sure. We also touch on all of the pro wrestling we have consumed since we recorded last week. Enjoy!

#46- Royal Rumble Review, AEW Series 5 Revealed & More!
This week's show we are in different locations: Mat is in the studio with Covid, so Adam is joining the show from parts unknown. We make the most of it and still hit on all the segments you know and love. The Retro Raw Review is a bit of a strange one, as it's actually a Toronto house show that was taped a few days prior, although all the storylines are still in play as we head into Thursday Raw Thursday. It's also the beginning of the two hour Raw shows. We get a very early glimpse into AEW Unrivaled series 5 (now with 100% less Cody!) We then shift gears to chat about the past Sunday's Royal Rumble PPV. As a whole, we both enjoyed the show! We also discuss a few other shows that we watched as well as the homework that was assigned by @purodad. Thanks for listening!

This week on the show we take an in depth look at the 1/13/97 Monday Night Raw, which was the go home show to the 1997 Royal Rumble in San Antonio, TX. Other topics of discussion include an absolute classic match on the most recent episode of AEW Dynamite, Bayley on the Steve Austin Broken Skull Sessions and NXT's New Years Evil show. All this as well as a lottery drawing to decide our fate in what will be the 3rd annual Tattoo Royal Rumble. His in-ring career was a bit before our time, but his knowledge of the business has been passed down and can be seen in todays product for sure. Little light on the news this week, but we make up for it with a super sized segment of Whatchu Watchin?! highlighted by a glowing NXT review and a Wargames preview. This week on the show, we get things going with an injury laden segment of "On This Day In Pro Wrestling History" followed up by a Retro Raw Review that kicks off with the termination, er, suspension of The Ultimate Warrior. Nevertheless, we are cruising toward In Your House: International Incident, and Ahmed Johnson and HBK are down a man until an unlikely hero makes his return to the company. "Into the Dorkness" is pretty light on the figure news with SDCC @ home right around the corner, but we do unbox a baseball themed mystery box from our friends over at Highspots. We also discuss some recent programming such as the New Japan Cup, Fyter Fest, The Great American Bash and more. Thanks as always for the listen and the support!
