The consequences of cutting $1.6 trillion from Medicaid over the next ten years

In this episode I examine the consequences on people with disabilities, elderly people, low income people and Social Services providers if you cut $1.6 trillion for Medicaid over the next ten years like the Trump administration has proposed every year over the last four years. I will reiterate here, I am for ways to fix the system so that people don’t take advantage, but hitting the system would have detrimental effects on vulnerable people and highly trained professionals!

This first episode is just myself. I wanted to do a quick segment explaining Democratic socialism and what it is. There are so many misconceptions on the facts about this. It’s not Venezuela socialism or communism. It is about certain sectors of our society, specifically healthcare, education, social services, that are not run for the means of profit.
