Lords of the Fallen originally released in 2014. After 9 years, Hexworks Studios released an "updated" or "next-gen" version of this soulslike title. Is it better than the original? So after putting in 50+ hours into Lies of P, and completing the game twice, Matt can confidently say that he is ready to give his "final verdict" on the game. So how does this Neowiz title hold up? So Matt has had a little time to spend with Starfield. He actually got to experience the game before it actually launched, thanks to early access! I watched the first episode of TLOU on HBO Max and said " I wanna play it again now." After completing the first game and wrapping up part 2, my appreciation and the flame I once had for this game has been rekindled. TLOU is one of the greatest games ever made. It's not my favorite (We all know what that is) but it is definitely upper echelon and Part 2 is coming in close behind it. My gaming PC is officially dead. All the time and money I have put into that machine is now gone. It hurt to watch that thing cease to exist, but I guess all things happen for a reason. Since the Switch's release in 2017, we've gotten a few "refreshes" if you will, to the console. A few changes here and there, some small and others a little more noticeable and make the overall system a bit more enjoyable. For the most part, I'd say that with the exception of a few, nothing really changed. There are some things that Switch owners want to see, but these implements remain to be seen. What's gong on Nintendo???

Ubisoft talks of removing a game from the Steam catalog, and causes a uproar everywhere. After transitioning to digital only games, this is a fear of mine as well as others who purchase digital games, that they could be taken away at a moments notice.  Can they do that? Is that even legal? What happens to the game you bought? Do you get refunded?  Let's talk about this and dive in depth to the digital era of gaming.

I'm slowly approaching 40 and still gaming like I am 15. Will I ever lose the passion for it? Will I eventually grow tired of something that I have been doing for 30 plus years? It's been a while since I have really enjoyed a wrestling game. I have played a handful of wrestling games throughout my time as a gamer. Some were good, some were bad, and some were just "Eh". This year (2022) we got WWE 2K22 and I didn't expect the game to play like it does. Do I like it? Do I hate it? or is it just another "Meh" wrestling game. I think Elden Ring is as about as close as you can get to a perfect game. So the long awaited Witch Queen DLC dropped for Destiny 2 last Tuesday and I played through it through the week into the weekend wrapping up the campaign. I found out about this game through the Gameranx YouTube channel. I had never heard of this game, but the more I looked into it, the more I was fascinated by it. If your curiosity is peaked as well now, check out this episode and see if this game is up your alley. I HIGHLY recommend it and I think it deserves some gameplay by any FPS fan of the genre. God of War (2018) was released today on Steam as well as Epic Games store. Another Playstation game ported to PC for us PC gamers to enjoy. How was the port job? Does it still hold up in 2022? Souls games. You either love them or hate them. I have become a huge fan of the From Software games. Dark Souls 3, Demon Souls (Remake) and Bloodborne are a few of my favorites. With Elden Ring right around the corner, I wanted to do a episode on the "souls games" and tell you how I became a fan of them, but it wasn't all rainbows and unicorns to get there. Scalpers suck. It's common knowledge, we all think it and we would love nothing more than to see them go away. Forever. Can we just go back to buying things in the stores at MSRP prices like the "old" days? Well, the scalpers are finally lowering their prices with the products slowly but actually showing up on store shelves. Hopefully sooner rather than later, we can finally see some normalcy.

I have been captivated by the Witcher lore all over again. I purchased all the games, own all but 1 or 2 of the books, bought a Geralt of Rivia statue, Witcher shirt, etc. You get the idea. I recently played through The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for the 2nd time and fell in love with it all over again. I know I have stated before that Gears of War and Days Gone were the GOATs but let me stand corrected that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt owns the spot in my heart for favorite game of all time.
