Ian Eyre is known for Baby Driver (2017), Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 (2014). Ian writes, directs and stunt coordinates from a left-brained perspective. Ian’s passion for living life to the fullest leads to imaginative storytelling, having studied screenwriting and directing at the Christian-based Act One Program. His background in mechanical engineering (Ga Tech), stunts (125 credits at IMDb.com/name/nm0264226) and mechanical/pyro effects results in a structured, safe approach to action scenes and some inventive camera rigs, including an all-electric camera motorcycle. Ian got his start in stunts in the Batman Stunts Spectacular at Six Flags over Georgia in 1990, earned his SAG card in 1993, then started coordinating stunts in 2002. Ian’s prayer is that when God provides a stunt job, it’s something in his wheelhouse that he can be excellent at. Trusting that, Ian has no fear and he feels God’s pleasure when asked to fall on his head, kinda like when Eric Liddell said; “God made me fast, and when I run I feel his pleasure.” Of course, there have been injuries. Everything Ian does is for God’s glory and his focus has narrowed to creating movies for the teen or young adult furthest from God. That means genre movies, and of course all his movies have stunts.
