Hard Adulting Truths I've Learnt | #maztalks

Again... I recorded this at 12:30 am. Of course "adulting" is difficult. Young adults frequently struggle with the adjustment to complete independence after being abruptly deprived of childhood comforts and assistance. Living away from their parents' houses removes them from the full range of structural and emotional supports that come with it and replaces them with the lonesome, wide unknown of the outside world.

Why I left the SDA Church - The Truth | #maztalks

It was challenging to record this episode. You all deserve to know, even though it wasn't simple to disclose my business. There are so many young people who have experienced trauma and must cope with it. This has been a part of my life since August 2018. Yes, I did reveal the culprits' identities, and I won't be removing the episode. I have received the best support from my family and friends, who have been fantastic. I've been crying about it all this week, but I'm now able to move on with my life without having to worry about this circumstance. I've allowed them a tiny window of opportunity for them to get in touch with me and make amends.
Due to these two people, I had a lot of hatred in me towards the whole church for a long time, but I've now realised that many people have treated me well. I adore it when my favourite church aunts still get in touch with me. Will I visit the church again? Absolutely not, but after tonight, I won't talk about this church anymore.

Fresh Start | #maztalks

For anyone, each day is a new chapter. Do you find yourself in a loop in your life? Do you want to make some changes and start over? Do you have the feeling that you're reliving the same day over and again? Starting afresh can be frightening, but you deserve to live the life you desire. Here are some strategies to help you rethink your life, start over, and go forward. Life is constantly changing, and so should you. It's one thing to stop and smell the roses and enjoy the moment, but it's quite another to simply stop and stand motionless. You don't want your life to become monotonous once more. New people, fresh opportunities, and new experiences are constantly waiting for you.

Be Uncomfortable | #maztalks

We grow mostly by our ability to take risks by breaking outside of our comfort zones. However, we are often hesitant to take the first move. Comfort zones, in reality, aren't about comfort; they're about fear. To get out, you must first break the shackles of fear. Once you've done that, you'll discover that taking risks and improving as a result of them is something you'll like. Getting out of your comfort zone will be terrifying at first. But, as I previously stated, you don't have to leap out of your comfort zone all at once; instead, take gradual steps. As you progressively go past your comfort zone, you'll become more comfortable with the new things that once seemed so dangerous. I'm confident you'll succeed if you take the first step.

BBL PANDEMIC! | #maztalks

In the last two years, there's been a rise in Brazilian butt lifts. Everywhere I look all I'm seeing is surgery after surgery. Every time I scroll on my for you page I'm loaded with young girls vlogging their BBL experience. I see young girls getting bullied for their body shape and it's upsetting. We need to embrace our natural bodies and love our imperfections. Surgery or no surgery you're the same person. Before you put yourself under the knife, do intensive research!

There’s no point starting the year on a lie. Every year we tell ourselves we’re going to change a, b and c. By mid-January, we have all forgotten about what our goals are. Let’s start the year off by looking at the people around us. As much as we want to be successful with our friends, sometimes we need to leave them be. You can not be carrying around dead weight. When you put more time into your craft and fulfilling your commitments, you’ll start to realise you don’t have time for the stuff you used to have time for.

After speaking to a few people, I came to a realisation that we all lived similar childhoods. Even though our parents were present they were not emotionally and physically there. Teenagers go through a lot. They need someone to help them along their journey. Without proper support, these teenagers have mental health problems, eating disorders, and so much more. We must see the signs in our children or siblings so we can help them.

He was the key drummer in his church growing up, so playing the drums and anything music-related came easy to him. In the past year, the increase of people altering their natural looks to fit into western beauty standards has risen more than ever. More females are getting Brazilian butt lift surgery, some are taking substances such as Apetamin to put on weight. Regardless, the current generation I am in does not want to work for what they want. We live in a world whereby people would rather pay a lot of money for someone else to do the job rather than doing it ourselves. People who fall into the quick gratification pit want something out of nothing. Unfortunately, the universe does not operate in this manner. To receive something, you must first give something.
