During this 2021 Ocean Week , March , we had the chances to join the World Ocean Summit and also joining the meeting together with María of SALUD in discussing the recent rises of sea pollution in Melaka , Malaysia , Spain and elsewhere .

The global issue of ocean plastic pollution , in this special episode during Ocean Week 2021 our local marine biologist María here speaking to her community in Spain for EDUCACIÓN AMBIENTAL Y SINERGIAS CIUDADANAS .

Ocean plastics washing up on beaches and rivers should not exist anywhere in waters , especially for high tourism places like Melaka  where its multi diversity of marine life is so pretty (from Turtles , to Corals in the Straits , Crocodiles , fishes that provides seafoods for the locals and many else more)

Do you know that it is beautiful and seeing turtles swimming by the Straits of Melaka . It reminds us at MCF51 on why removing the trashes is so important - we as the locals like how María taught us , must protect their habitats , the cleanliness and all the other marine life treasure that our city has now so that all our future generations can continue to enjoy this wonder in Malaysia #TerimaKasih

Mestri Sara or as we locals call her Teacher Sara , a Dutch Portuguese & Peranakan Portuguese born Melakan ; She started teaching classes to the childrens in Portuguese Settlement , Melaka since early 2012 up until now 2021 . During the recent years Teacher Sara had been teaching the classes online for the neighbors and other Melakans (all of it for FREE) as she see that the learning of Papia Portuguese Kristang has been declining , so she continue her teachings in hope that the future generations can remember the speciality of this local language , culture and traditions .

In this part #TeacherSARA are teaching her students & listeners about how the locals greet each others on each occasions
