It's Never Too Late...For a New Beginning...
In this episode we check in with the new Principal of the Freshman Campus to reflect on how the year has been going and all of his fresh ideas moving forward.

Lend an ear as our FC counselors interview one of our most memorable + dedicated janitorial staff members, Ms. Eleanor. Dean Deener
In this Homecoming Edition we touch on bullying awareness month + community topics with our brand new Dean, Dean Deener, an alum of McHenry High School.

Hope
What does HOPE mean for you as we near the end of the school year? We invited Dr. Beerbower to join us and share how he inspires his students day in and day out. If you don't know who Dr. Beerbower is OR just need an uplifting reminder of what it means to seek out hope in times of despair then you're going to want to listen to this one, trust us. We can do hard things & sometimes hope is the way to guide us through.

Friendship
This episode we welcome Mr. Carl Vallianatos, Assistant Superintendent for Learning and Innovation. Healthy Relationships/L-O-V-E
We took a chance. We did it. We dove into the topic of Healthy Relationships. This time we added our Prevention and Wellness Coordinator for the District, Mrs. Maura Reid. And resident student dating expert, Ingrid. We also had students submit their thoughts on the Freshman Campus "dating scene" and related it to the Healthy Relationship activity our Student Leaders from the Upper Campus helped to deliver the day before. Attitudes & Values
This podcast covers Attitudes and Values from both the counselor and a student perspective. We are joined by Mr. Menke, College & Career Counselor and two of our freshman students, Cassie & Ruby. Hopefully this guided discussion triggers self-reflection and provides insight.
Respect & Responsibility
Our 4th episode was recorded right before winter break so we are publishing it to you a little late. BUT! better late than never. We hope everyone listening had a wonderful break. This episode definitely still applies to new beginnings and reflection as we do our best to make do with the chaos of the beginning of the semester. Our guests from the Upper Campus, our senior counselors, give some great advice and perspective on how respect and responsibility impact our daily lives.
Community
Listen in to meet our junior counselors, Mrs. Schak & Mr. Figueroa from the Upper Campus. We hash out the idea of community, discuss different perspectives, and how they impact our new high school model.
Cooperation
Collaboration, teamwork, & joint action are all synonyms for our cooperative podcast this month. Our freshman counselors with the help of the sophomore counselors dive into our own interpretations of cooperation through the counseling and student lense.
