In this show Program Host Dr Fahad Abbasi talks to a female journalist Saliha Gul . Saliha has written an article on basic health facilities, particularly women health in District Harripur, Afghan Camps. Saliha tells the story that after Khadija a female nurse migrated to Afghanistan, the camp women are in desperate need of a female doctor or nurse since last six years to look into their health issue .Saliha Gul tells that she met an Afgan mother who wants to teach her daughter and make her doctor to bring relief to Afghan women living in the camps.

In this episode includes report on first turkmen afghan refugee doctor saleema rehman by Nazish Fatima and Palwasha Iqbal.

Saleema Rehman, 29, is a gynecologist serving displaced Afghan women in the city of Attock, Pakistan. last year, she won UNHCR's regional Nansen Refugee Award, an annual prize given to individuals doing outstanding work for displaced people.

In this podcast Dr Fahad Abbasi talks to a young female journalist, Palwasha Iqbal .She writes in Urdu press  and she is a broadcast journalist as well. Palwasha believes that tourism can be the best economic engine to eradicate poverty and unemployment from this overpopulated district . As the district is inhabited mostly by internally displaced and Afghan refugees .Dr Khalid Mufti a Psychologist explains the mental health impact of displacement and and suggests psychological solutions to the issues.

In this program the types of child abuse as well as how adults/parents can take protective measures against it were discussed. Mr. Baber narrates the importance of giving the right education to child to help them identify good vs. bad touch. Why abused children are reluctant to tell, what abusers did to endure their victims to remain silent. Dr Mufti explained what are the mental and physical effects of Sexual Abuse on the life of the child who went through this abuse and How Parents or adults can prevent it.

Mental health is inclusive to all; however, this program covers the effect of the pandemic on children’s mental health. Their lives at school and home have been turned upside down. Children and teenagers across the country have been struggling with mental health issues as they try to adapt to uncertain and often frightening times. Mr. Basheer Shah discussed about the factors that can effect the mental health of a children for example transition to online learning, nutrition and exercise, video games, and many more environmental that impair a child’s mental health and physical perception of the world around them. Dr Khalid Mufti  explained about the symptoms that parents should look out for to know if their children especially street and displaced children are going through stress and recommended ways to help them cope with the uncertainties brought upon people by the pandemic.

Although children may be unable to fully grasp the concept of their health and wellbeing, restrictions posed by public health protocols have taken away aspects of their life, just like any other member of the community. While discussing about the children who are more likely to be affected by Corona Mr. Naeem said that Children with breathing problems and heart problems are the one who can get affect very easily by this virus and shared few tips to prevent this virus in children. At the end parental guidelines are discussed.

These young journalists are reporting issues of Afghan refugees in Swabi and Haripur Refugee Camps. There are a lot of complex issues like poverty, lack of education, low health services.

After talk to young journalist, Dr Fahad connects to Psychiatrist Dr. Khalid Mufti. He tells about the psychological impact of the continues conflict in the lives of Afghans.

However, refugee children are exposed to multiple stresses on a daily basis, and in many camps, there is little in the way of stimulation for young children. In this Podcast Riaz Missen invited Ms.Fakhira Najib , an educationist ,Implementing IRI with a powerful sound pedagogy , reaching million of Childers daily. She shared how she is using radio prog for afghan refugees and host communities in Pakistan through Broadclass:Listen to Learn for learning to play and holistic development of child.Fakhira stresses the need for using cost effective and easily accessible model of education through radio.
