DOCTORMENTARY: The Cannabinologist (Dr. Sunil K. Aggarwal)
In this installment of DOCTORMENTARIES (our Doctor interview series), Reesh talks to Dr. Sunil Kumar Aggarwal aka "The Cannabinologist." Sunil is a Hospice & Palliative Care physician that practices near Seattle, Washington. He has been at the forefront of the medical marijuana movement for over a decade and his research helped convince the American Medical Association (AMA) of potential medical uses of cannabis that led them to call for rescheduling of the drug so that more research could be done. This interview covers his journey to becoming an international cannabis expert, the odd history of marijuana in the United States and current practices of "prescribing" the drug in states where it's legal. ** Episode edited/mixed by DJ Nuvo Reesh with original production courtesy of P@ Split. RANTS BY RX: Purpose, Passion, Pursuit & Parenting
This rant was recorded during a road trip Reesh took with his wife Rama while trying to figure out whether or not to go all in on Medicine ReMixed. It's a discussion for anyone and everyone searching for meaning in his or her life. It's an episode for anyone who has felt the judgement of teachers, peers, strangers and/or their own family! It's a conversation about growing up and making peace with those who don't understand our dreams. When we figure out who we truly are, what makes us tick, and the right "WHY" for what we do with our lives, Mondays will never be the same again. **This episode samples the songs "Sensei" & "Sakura" by AwareNess with permission from the Artist. SHRINK RAP: Learning to Not Lose Your Keys [to Happiness]

[Healthcare] Transformers & Empathy Robots in Disguise
This episode starts with Dee asking Reesh to recall an experience from Medical School of the first time he felt like he really helped a patient, but it had nothing to do with what he learned in Medical School. Continuing with this theme, Dee tells a story later in the episode about spending money out of his own pocket recently to treat a patient that couldn't afford a simple treatment for "Seasonal Affective Disorder." This leads to a discussion about how to improve Healthcare delivery through technology and how the Power of Audio might be a way to scale the unscalable. Finally, we end the episode talking about an email we recently got from a med student who was a former DJ and how we hope to recruit more Medical Artists to the Medicine ReMixed Crew. This is a truly "ear opening" episode. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed producing it!
