Deadly Second Wave of COVID Crisis in India- HELP

Hello everyone, welcome back to Social Note I am Mellanni Pargas your host.

Thank you for tuning in this week for the final episode 7 of season 1 of my podcast. Today in our final episode I discuss something completely different to my past episodes. We all know by know that essentially, the goal of my podcast was to bring awareness to all the social trends and events that are “hot”. While, I further examine and discuss how these things can have lasting effects on our younger society. However, this episode will be used to raise awareness to all the hardships India is facing and the help that they need right now. For this reason, I decided to use my platform to help a country that has been combating covid front and center, yet have not received any help from anyone. I want this episode to serve as a call to action of my followers or anyone that comes across this to help India in any way they can! The information that you hear in this episode comes directly from the popular and respected New York Times.

I hope you all enjoy what I have to talk about for this episode. I will see you all again when you tune in to our next episode. Join me for more of our conversations. See, ya. Sending Virtual Hugs!

A HORROR show or just EVIL?

Hello everyone, welcome back to Social Note I am Mellanni Pargas your host.

Thank you for tuning in this week for episode 6 of my podcast. Today I discussed the recent premiere of the new show on Amazon Prime Video titled "THEM" by Lena Waithe & Little Marvin. I start by summarizing what the show is about and why it was creating backlash from the public. Then I analyze more in depth how this moment in social media and pop-culture is linked to how we as a society we depict and cast Black people for very dark, grim, and violent storylines. Especially, centering around the trauma and marginalization that Black individuals face daily and calling it entertainment. I hope you all enjoy what I have to talk about for this episode.

I will see you all again when you tune in to our next episode. Join me for more of our conversations. See, ya. Sending Virtual Hugs!
