Today’s guest is Alex Wittman, a travel blogger and content creator from Michigan. Alex left the US in 2014 to pursue an English teaching career in Spain.
After 3 years of au-pair and teaching gigs, Alex found herself still feeling like an outsider in Spain. She was craving a life where she can fully integrate into the culture so she thought, why not try something else?
Mexico was heavily recommended by her family and friends. Alex grew up in the US all her life but her mother is originally from Mexico. With this, she was able to get insider tips and support from her Mexican family.
In today’s episode, Alex will talk about how she ended up moving to Queretaro, an expat city that is about a 3-hour drive from Mexico City. She has been living here since 2017 and has been promoting Queretaro as one of the best expat cities in Mexico.

The Culinary Awards Gala Night will take place on October 19, 2022 at Visa Encantada Spa and Resort. Today, Linda will talk about how the awards body was founded, the nominees, the selection of winners, and of course, the restaurant and food culture in Los Cabos.

From what started as a short-term trip, Julia is now living in Playa del Carmen in a luxury 5th-floor suite that she only pays US$500 per month.
