Black Love - The MFiles Podcast - Ep. 11
In this episode of The Melanated Files podcast, episode 11, we discuss love within the black community. This episode grew out of a desire to find a solution to an issue that black women have raised to me on quite a few occasions. The issue is that more than a few black men appear to be disinterested in black women. Black love appears to be in trouble and many are saying it's nothing new. With this episode we have started a discussion where both black women and black men can share their thoughts on this issue. If we are going to move forward as a community we need to do it together. Our hope is that both sides listen to the plight of the other, so that we can work through whatever issues exist and arrive at an amicable solution. Our First LIVE Call in Podcast Episode - The MFiles Podcast Ep. 4
This is episode four of The Melanated Files Podcast and it was streamed LIVE on YouTube making it our first LIVE call in podcast. Being our first LIVE podcast it wasn't without it's hiccups, but we did learn a lot and are even more excited about what's to come. The goal of this podcast is to create a platform for solution driven discussions on the black experience across the globe and the more of us discussing these solutions the better. In this episode we spoke about our recently concluded event Family that was held in Tokyo. This lead to a discussion about community. Going forward these LIVE call in podcast episodes will be more structured and our goal is to make them shorter ranging anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
