Harris Dickinson | E68 | Beach Rats, Triangle of Sadness, Scrapper, Maleficent 2, The Iron Claw
In our third episode of our miniseries predicting future Oscar nominees, Harris felt apt to discuss given his eclectic film work and hotly anticipated upcoming projects…
Still being a relatively new face in cinema does not prevent him giving us plenty to chat about…. Throughout the episode we focus on Beach Rats (Eliza Hittman, 2017), Postcards From London (Steve McLean, 2018), Triangle Of Sadness (Ruben Östlund, 2022), Where The Crawdads Sing (Olivia Newman, 2022), Scrapper (Charlotte Regan, 2023) and The Iron Claw (Sean Durkin, 2023).
We’re sure that his career will continue to flourish and we’ll have much more to talk about down the line, hopefully with Oscar nominations in tow.

In our second episode predicting future Oscar nominees, Aubrey felt like an obvious choice. She’s got it all - the talent, the charm, and a whole raft of underappreciated films/performances to make her feel overdue for voting bodies. It’s all a matter of the time. We hope.
Join us as we talk about this and journey through Aubrey’s filmography that includes gems such as Safety Not Guaranteed (Colin Trevorrow, 2012), Ingrid Goes West (Matt Spicer, 2017), Black Bear (Lawrence Michael Levine, 2020), Happiest Season (Clea DuVall, 2020) and Emily the Criminal (John Patton Ford, 2022).

It's time to celebrate two legends.
As Michael (our lovely co-host and producer) celebrates his birthday, he wanted to focus an episode on one his absolute favourite actors... Kristin Scott Thomas!
Kristin is our second official 'Dame' for the podcast but somehow she never seems to get the appreciation of her contemporaries. Not here! Join us as we cover Kristin's film career including Four Wedding And A Funeral (Mike Newell, 1994), her Oscar-nominated performance in The English Patient (Anthony Minghella, 1996), Keeping Mum (Niall Johnson, 2005), I’ve Loved You So Long (Philippe Claudel, 2008), Only God Forgives (Nicolas Winding Refn, 2013) and Military Wives (Peter Cattaneo, 2019).

Lizzy Caplan | E64 | Mean Girls, Cloverfield, Hot Tub Time Machine, Bachelorette, The Interview, Now You See Me 2
This week we were delighted to take on another audience suggestion to dive into the film career of Lizzy Caplan.
On the big screen Lizzy will be known to many for her iconic turn as Janice Ian in Mean Girls (Mark Waters, 2004), where her quote-a-long line readings and frenetic energy began her rise to stardom. From there she would continue to deliver committed big screen work in the likes of Cloverfield (Matt Reeves, 2008), Hot Tub Time Machine (Steve Pink, 2010), Bachelorette (Leslye Headland, 2012), The Interview (Evan Goldberg & Seth Rogen, 2014), Now You See Me 2 (Jon M. Chu, 2016) and Cobweb (Samuel Bodin, 2023).
So join as we talk through some of these career highlights, as we have again enjoyed the fun of visiting a star we had not yet considered and would strongly encourage more suggestions from our lovely audience!

Kelly Reilly | E63 | Calarvy, Flight, A Haunting in Venice, Eden Lake, Mrs Henderson Presents, Pride & Prejudice
Let’s get everyone talking about Kelly Reilly!
Kelly is a performer who clearly has a lot of industry respect, racking up many noteworthy credits. But where these roles felt primed to launch her to lofty heights, things never quite lined up as we’d imagine for someone who feels destined for big things.
In this career retrospective, we take on some of Kelly’s film highlights to discuss along the way: Pride & Prejudice (Joe Wright, 2005), Mrs Henderson Presents (Stephen Frears, 2005), Eden Lake (James Watkins, 2008), Sherlock Holmes and it’s sequel A Game Of Shadows (Guy Ritchie, 2009 & 2011), Flight (Robert Zemeckis, 2012), Calvary (John Michael McDonagh, 2014), 10x10 (Suzi Ewing, 2018) and A Haunting In Venice (Kenneth Branagh, 2023).
Having proven her prowess many times, we are holding out for that major moment which will give her the opportunity to dazzle us all. To help manifest those opportunities we have come up with some ideas of our own to share with you all.

Eva Mendes | E62 | Hitch, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Holy Motors, The Place Beyond the Pines, Last Night, The Other Guys, The Women
Let's talk about...Eva Mendes.
Our host Scott has been eager to focus on Eva's career since the start of the podcast and FINALLY here we are... And what an interesting filmography to reflect on!
There's her roles alongside questionable cops in Training Day (Antoine Fuqua, 2001), The Other Guys (Adam McKay, 2010) and Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans (Werner Herzog, 2009) AND questionable fellas in Hitch (Andy Tennant, 2005), The Place Beyond The Pines (Derek Cianfrance, 2012), Holy Motors (Leos Carax, 2012) and Ghost Rider (Mark Steven Johnson, 2007). AND then there's quesitonable ladies in The Women (Diane English, 2008).
So she may have been somewhat pigeonholed but there is something undeniable about Eva on the big screen.
And should she decide to make a return to acting, we have dreamt up some suggestions to share with you all. So come listen to us discuss all of this and more on our Eva Mendes edition.

Harvey Fierstein | E61 | Torch Song Trilogy, Mrs. Doubtfire, Independence Day, Bros, Death to Smoochy
Harvey Fierstein!! A name (and a voice) that will conjure up great feelings of affection to those familiar with him.
He is a monumental figure in theatre - with a plethora of awards to back it up - and he helped pave the way for queer representation in Hollywood, but where are the film roles??
He will be known to most for his memorable turns as Frank, the make-up artist who turns his brother into the infamous Scottish nanny in Mrs. Doubtfire (Chris Columbus, 1993) or perhaps as Marty, the frantic cable company manager in Independence Day (Roland Emmerich, 1996). But it is Harvey's work in Torch Song Trilogy (Paul Boggart, 1988) that provides his crowning film achievement and gives him a rare leading role.
Join us for this Harvey love-fest where we reflect on his career, queer representation in Hollywood and much more!

Ira Sachs | E60 | Passages, Frankie, Little Men, Love Is Strange, Married Life, Keep the Lights On, Delta
Why are more people not celebrating Ira Sachs?
That question led to this episode where we reflect on a truly independent filmmaker who has worked with many recognisable faces (such as Pierce Brosnan, John Lithgow, Rachel McAdams and Ben Whishaw) yet has never quite had his moment in the limelight himself.
Ira has carved out his own brand of storytelling with films such as Married Life (2007), Keep the Lights On (2012), Love Is Strange (2014) and Passages (2023). It's a fascinating filmography and we can't wait for more.

All films are elevated with Colman's presence.

Dee Rees | E57 | Pariah, Mudbound, The Last Thing He Wanted
It’s that time again to recognise an under appreciated star of the screen. We deliver a swerve though, turning our attention to a director and writer... Dee Rees! There are many reasons to be a Dee Rees fan and we are here to share those as we explore her film career. We will cheer about the almighty highs of Pariah (2011) and Mudbound (2017); celebrate the successes of TV biopic Bessie (2015), and even acknowledge where things didn’t work out quite so well in The Last Thing He Wanted (2020). Or as the outrageously charismatic lead alongside Amy Adams and Frances McDormand in Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day (Bharat Nalluri, 2008)? Or as a blue villain in Guardians Of The Galaxy (James Gunn, 2014)? Or as a mysterious guest in Bodies Bodies Bodies (Halina Reijn, 2022)? Miriam Margolyes | E55 | The Age of Innocence, Harry Potter, Romeo + Juliet, Ladies in Lavender, Babe, James and the Giant Peach...
Join us to celebrate a truly one-of-a-kind performer, the legend that is Miriam Margolyes. Miriam is now known to many for her candidTV moments, regaling us all with her wildly memorable anecdotes. So for our pride celebration we couldn’t resist dipping into the film catalogue of this queer icon. To a generation of us she will have first captured our attention as Professor Sprout in Harry Potter and The Chamber Of Secrets (Chris Columbus, 2002) and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 (David Yates, 2011). To others it will have been as The a nurse in Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet (1996) or Mrs. Mingott in Martin Scorsese’s The Age Of Innocence (1993). We loved talking about these films alongside Ladies In Lavender (Charles Dance, 2004) and Little Dorrit (Christine Edzard, 1987). It was a pleasure to reflect on this fun collection of film goodies and what makes Miriam so endlessly watchable. We also think about some roles we’d love to see her tackle in the future.

Fionnula Flanagan | Episode 41
Thank you for joining us for this episode on an Irish legend, Fionnula Flanagan. As a star of Alejandro Amenábar’s The Others (2001), she felt perfect for our second Halloween ‘22 instalment...
We also go beyond that spooky favourite and dive into some of her other most noteworthy film work, including James Joyce’s Women (Michael Pearce, 1985), Waking Ned (Kirk Jones, 1998), Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (Callie Khouri, 2002) and The Guard (John Michael McDonagh, 2011).
In keeping with the theme, Scott then quizzes Michael on some iconic stars of Halloween favourites. How will he fare in identifying some iconic Scream Queens?

Christina Ricci with Kate Conboy-Fischer | Episode 40
Welcome back and thank you for joining us for another episode of Don’t Know Her?. As we enter spooky season, we simply had to turn our attention to a Halloween favourite and Christina Ricci was one of the first that sprang to mind. We were delighted to also be accompanied by our special guest, Kate Conboy-Fischer to chat all things Christina.
Forever seared into our heads as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and Addams Family Values (Barry Sonnenfeld, 1991 and 1993), she has become a Halloween staple in many households. Couple this with her work in Casper (Brad Silberling, 1995) and Sleepy Hollow (Tim Burton, 1999) and you have all the spooky season delights you could need.
Alongside some of these seasonal classics, we delve into some of Christina’s other career highlights, such as Buffalo ‘66 (Vincent Gallo, 1998), Black Snake Moan (Craig Brewer, 2006), Mermaids (Richard Benjamin, 1990), Monster (Patty Jenkins, 2003), Penelope (Mark Palansky, 2006) and 10 Things We Should Do Before We Break Up (Galt Niederhoffer, 2020).
This episode’s quiz pits Kate against Michael as we determine who has the better ear for witches on film. There were also cackles galore.
NOTE: This episode was recorded on the 3rd of October and mentions the iconic Angela Lansbury, in a celebration of one of cinema's greatest witches, ahead of her passing on the 11th of October.
We were truly spoiled for choice in what to talk about for Christina, but we wish she was getting film opportunities as exciting as we got in the 90s and 00s, so the three of us submit some fantasy film roles we’d love to see in her future to wrap up the episode.

Fresh off her Emmy win for her terrific performance in The White Lotus, we could not resist diving into Jennifer’s filmography and the iconic roles that pepper it. With many delights to choose from, we work our way through films including Legally Blonde (Robert Luketic, 2001), Best In Show (2000), A Cinderella Story (Mark Rosman, 2004), Austenland (Jerusha Hess, 2013), Single All The Way (Michael Mayer, 2021) and Swan Song (Todd Stephens, 2021).
After our film conversations, it’s time for a quiz and in this edition, we have Michael testing Scott on his knowledge of some movie gals and their pals.
We then end on a wish from each of us for a dream role we’d love to see materialise for Jennifer Coolidge because we just can’t get enough.

Lisa Kudrow | Episode 38
We are continuing with our 'Stars of TV' miniseries and have arrived at one of television’s most recognisable faces of the 90s/00s; Lisa Kudrow.
Lisa will be known to most for the 10 years she spent playing Phoebe Buffay in Friends (1994-2004). Her other most celebrated TV performances come along in Web Therapy (2011-2015) and The Comeback (2005 & 2014). But we are here to shine a light on some of Lisa’s film work. For this episode celebrating our favourite Friend we have focussed on Clockwatchers (1997), Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion (1997), The Opposite Of Sex (1998), P.S. I Love You (2007) and Better Nate Than Ever (2022).
Then, this time around it’s Scott quizzing Michael on some iconic TV themes and their crossover with Lisa Kudrow’s Emmy win. And we wrap things off as we like to, by suggesting a dream film scenario for Lisa’s future.

Jean Smart with Daniel Massie | Episode 37
Thank you for joining us for episode 37 of Don’t Know Her?. As we continue our miniseries of beloved stars of the small screen, we couldn’t skip the powerhouse that is Jean Smart. As we explore another TV icon we would have been remiss to not welcome back the wonderful Daniel Massie, who previously joined us for our Sarah Michelle Gellar episode.
Jean can be enjoyed in many, many TV shows, from Frasier to Hacks most recently. With a lot of Emmys on her mantle, we cast our attention to her work on film and ponder why she hasn’t gotten the same love from casting directors of the big screen. Throughout this episode you can hear us touch upon Guinevere (Audrey Wells, 1999), Garden State (Zach Braff, 2004), A Simple Favor (Paul Feigg, 2018) and Senior Moment (Giorgio Serafini, 2021).
For this episode’s quiz, it’s Daniel vs Scott as Michael tests their knowledge of EGOT winners; the most elite collectors of gold and silverware. Following this, we each submit a fantasy role that we’d love to see Jean take on in the future.

Jeffrey Wright | Episode 36
Thank you for joining us for Don’t Know Her?. To mark the upcoming Emmy awards, we’re doing a miniseries on performers who have garnered a lot of attention for their TV roles yet somehow feel underappreciated when it comes to their big screen work. And we are kicking this off with the marvellous Jeffrey Wright.
In the world of TV, Jeffrey is perhaps best known for his Emmy Winning turn in Mike Nichols’ Angels In America (2003), an adaptation of Tony Kushner’s celebrated stage play. He will also be known to many for his work on Westworld (2016-present) and Boardwalk Empire (2010-2014).
In film, Jeffrey will be known to many for his supporting roles in the recent James Bond films, The Hunger Games series and The Batman (Matt Reeves, 2022). He has also been celebrated for his work in Basquiat (Julian Schnabel, 1996), Broken Flowers (Jim Jarmusch, 2005), and The French Dispatch (Wes Anderson, 2021). We discuss these roles, dream about his future roles and take a quiz - all to celebrate this wonderful actor.

Annette Bening | Episode 35
Thank you for joining us for this birthday bonanza episode of Don’t Know Her? as we celebrate Scott’s big 3-0.
As a special birthday treat, Scott got free rein to pick whoever he liked to discuss in this episode. Who did he choose? Only Annette Bening!
Annette is a deservedly celebrated star of the silver screen and somebody we continue to want to see more dazzling performances from. With a back catalogue of roles as fabulous as her’s is, it was hard to know where to start, but we decided to focus on a variety of her more memorable turns: American Beauty (Sam Mendes, 1999), 20th Century Women (Mike Mills, 2016), The Grifters (Stephen Frears, 1990), Film Stars Don’t Die In Liverpool (2017) and even the widely maligned remake of Hollywood classic The Women (Diane English, 2008). With these films, we were able to gush about personal favourites, reassess older favourites and, well, talk about The Women… Michael then tests Scott with a 30th birthday-inspired quiz before they offer up suggestions for some sequels, remakes and other future fantasy films they’d love to see our beloved Annette starring in.

Carry On film series | Episode 34
Welcome back for another episode. This time around we fancied a little camp diversion and decided to change things up with a discussion of a film franchise. So here we bring you a foray into the Carry On films. The joy of this episode for us was in being able to talk about some iconic screen presences who truly deserve continued recognition for their iconic contributions to British cinema.
The Carry On series is the largest franchise in British film history, spanning 31 films released between the late 50s and the early 90s. With the films becoming a staple in many households, the familiar faces of the series are still so intrinsically tied to the British comedy scene. They delighted audiences with the returning faces of Kenneth Williams, Barbara Windsor, Joan Sims, Sidney James, Charles Hawtrey, Hattie Jacques and Jim Dale to name just a few.
With so many to choose from we decided to focus on a small, but mixed selection for this episode: Carry On Nurse (1959), Carry On Camping (1969), Carry On Cleo (1964) and Carry On Columbus (1992); all directed by Gerald Thomas, who was at the helm for the entirety of the franchise.
Following on from this Scott quizzes Michael on some Carry On trivia then tests his knowledge on some connections between the series and some classic British Soaps. We then suggest some things we’d have loved to have seen some of those iconic stars of the series do as well, as we suggest our fantasy film outings for some of our Carry On heroes.

Margo Martindale | Episode 33
We are here again to bring you episode 33 of Don’t Know Her? and this time we have an American treasure for you, with screen legend Margo Martindale.
Margo will be a familiar face to many as she has carved out a career performing in many supporting roles throughout film and television - even garnering her the knowingly fun cameo role as ‘Character Actress Margo Martindale’ in BoJack Horseman.
On the big screen, she has seared herself into the minds of film fans having worked in many big hitters and indie gems, such as Oscar-winning Best Picture Million Dollar Baby (Clint Eastwood, 2004), Lorenzo’s Oil (George Miller, 1992), August: Osage County (John Wells, 2013) and in Alexander Payne’s touching segment of Paris, Je T’aime (2006). Elevating every film she stars in it was such a joy to revisit this selection for this episode.
After our foray into the film career of Margo, we have a little quizzing fun, with Scott testing Michael on his Margo knowledge before seeking out to test how well he knows the glorious women of August: Osage County.
Then to round off we share our wishes for the future career of Margo, suggesting some fantasy picks for sequels, remakes and other endeavours we’d just love from her.

Diane Lane | Episode 32
We are back again to bring you episode 32 of Don’t Know Her? and for this edition of the podcast, we are buzzing to talk about the star, legend and icon - Diane Lane!
Diane was a thrill to talk about as it meant an array of films for us to choose from, although there were some absolute musts in the mix. We could not pass up the opportunity to talk about her Oscar-nominated turn in Adrian Lyne’s Unfaithful (2004) and Michael was dying to introduce Scott to his beloved Under The Tuscan Sun (Audrey Wells, 2003) - and he was certainly not disappointed to take that trip. We also take the time to chat about one of her many working ventures with director Francis Ford Coppola, The Cotton Club (1984), a film that seemed destined to derail her career, but thankfully did not. We also visited another couple of Diane’s celebrated works A Walk On The Moon (Tony Goldwyn, 1999) and Let Him Go (Thomas Bezucha, 2020).
Then it's time for everyone’s favourite quiz and this time round Michael tests Scott on the music of ‘women on a journey' movies. We then glide into the future and suggest some of our picks for what roles we’d love to see Diane take on in the not too distant future.

Nicole Beharie with Murtada Elfadl | Episode 31
Welcome back for another episode of Don’t Know Her? and this time around, we are delighted to be joined by Murtada Elfadl - the host of the marvellous Sundays With Cate podcast!
Murtada brings us the luminescent Nicole Beharie and we are thrilled to talk about this very talented performer with a filmography including American Violet (Tim Disney, 2008), Shame (Steve McQueen, 2011), 42 (Brian Helgeland, 2013) and Miss Juneteenth (Channing Godfrey Peoples, 2020).
There is no doubt that Nicole deserves more film opportunities, so we relished the opportunity to suggest some fantasy casting choices too.
And - of course - we cannot forget quiz fun. And what fun we had pitting Murtada against Michael in a Gotham Awards themed round. Who comes out on top with their knowledge of indie award-winning queens?

Geraldine Chaplin with Zita Short | Episode 30
Welcome back for another episode of Don’t Know Her? And this time Michael and Scott turn their attention to cinematic royalty... Geraldine Chaplin!
We are thrilled to be joined by Zita Short, who you may (or should) know from The 300 Passions podcast, to talk about Geraldine's dynamic film legacy. The daughter of Charlie Chaplin, Geraldine has made an indelible mark in a career that spans British, American, Spanish and French cinema.
With so much to talk about with Geraldine, we decided to focus on a small handful of her films, namely: Criá Cuervos (Carlos Saura, 1976), Nashville (Robert Altman, 1975), Remember My Name (Alan Rudolph, 1978) and Talk To Her (Pedro Almodóvar, 2002).
Then, it is Zita vs Scott in Michael’s Hollywood Dynasties quiz. Who knows more about cinema’s most revered families?
As always, we end the episode with some fantasy casting opportunities for Geraldine. Who would we love to see her work with? Which curious remakes do we have in mind?

Brendan Fraser | Episode 29
Welcome back for more Don’t Know Her? and this time around we are focussing on the favourite movie star of the Millennials, Brendan Fraser. The prospect of a Saturday night in with a bucket of popcorn and The Mummy films meant this was an easy choice for us to make. This episode also lines up neatly with some exciting incoming film work, as Brendan makes a splashy return to our screens in ventures with Martin Scorsese and Darren Aronofsky expected over the next year. We are fully sold on the Brendanaissance. Beyond our favourite Fraser/Weisz fun fest we dip into a handful of his other film outings, such as Airheads, No Sudden Move, Gods and Monsters, and the much-derided Oscar Best Picture-winning Crash. Scott then tests Michael on some musical moments from Brendan’s co-stars in the quiz! Then it’s eyes to the future as we add more wishes to his already exciting future slate. Let’s hope the universe is listening. Enjoy this episode and if you haven’t already please come join us on social media. Kate Dickie | Episode 28
Welcome back for another dose of Don’t Know Her? and this week, we are focussing our first full episode on a Scottish performer! And is the wildly talented Kate Dickie. Kate may be familiar to many for popping up in some TV favourites like Game Of Thrones, but we want her to be celebrated much more for her terrific film work. This episode allows us to explore some types of film we haven’t so far as we dive into a handful of her works and chat about Red Road, The Green Knight, The Witch, For Those In Peril, and Prevenge. Following this, Michael tests Scott’s ear for Scots accents in our audio quiz. From there, we pose our wishes for Kate’s hopefully fruitful future in film. Scott was particularly excited to celebrate a homeland hero, but Michael became a fully-fledged fan after this episode. Hopefully, you will be sold on Kate too. Victor Garber | Episode 27
In this episode of the Don’t Know Her? podcast, we are celebrating 25 years of the almighty Titanic by talking about the wonderful Victor Garber. Beyond his turn as Mr. Andrews, the architect of the doomed ship, Victor has delighted us in a variety of other films - almost too many to count! We have chosen to talk about a handful of our favourites in this episode: the sleazy professor in Legally Blonde, Goldie Hawn’s grotty ex in First Wives Club, the charming King in the 1997 Roger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and a clown-mime-hippy version of Jesus Christ in Godspell. Michael then tests Scott in this week’s quiz. Does he know Victor as much as he hopes? We then venture into the future and throw out some of our fantasy picks of future film roles for Victor. We do hope our Fairy Godmother (Whitney) will grant us these wishes. Enjoy this episode and if you haven’t already please come join us on social media. This time we are delighted to be joined by a guest from all the way Down Under, it’s James Kunovski - host of the Out of Oscar podcast - who has brought the delightful Patricia Clarkson to round off our miniseries focussing in on one-time Oscar Nominees Patricia will be a familiar face to many for her eclectic work in American indie cinema and for her award-winning supporting turns in TV shows like Sharp Objects and Six Feet Under. In this episode we focus on a few of her many film performances, including The Station Agent, Far From Heaven, Easy A, and her Oscar-nominated turn in Pieces of April. We even dip into her less celebrated work in the 2002 TV adaptation of Stephen King’s Carrie, where she plays iconic literary/screen mother, Margaret White. In the quiz this time Michael pits James against Scott to establish who is the bigger fan of Ms. Clarkson. Following on from this we all make our suggestions for what we’d love to see from Patricia down the line. Will any of these choices get picked up for development - we certainly hope so. Stockard Channing | Episode 23
It's episode 23 and we were only too delighted to visit the career of the legendary Ms. Channing, for another installment in our one-time Oscar nominees miniseries. And Stockard is an ideal candidate given she should have sack loads of them if she were given the right opportunities.
Stockard is an irresistible screen presence, so it was with great pleasure that we were able to dip into her eclectic filmography. We of course cover iconic favourites like Grease - to discuss her MVP performance as Betty Rizzo - and The First Wives Club (how could we not). We also venture into a variety of her other career highlights such as Six Degrees Of Separation, To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar, and The Business of Strangers.

Angela Bassett | Episode 22
From early conversations, it was clear that we had to do an episode to this deservedly beloved legend of the screen. Angela will be known to many for her sublime portrait of Tina Turner in 1993’s What’s Love Got To Do With It where she cemented herself in the minds of cinema-goers as a formidable talent to be paid attention to. Before this, she had grabbed attention for her work in iconic films such as John Singleton’s Boyz N The Hood and Spike Lee’s Malcolm X. Bassett’s career was a thrillingly eclectic one that also allowed her to showcase her range in such other cinematic treats such as Kathryn Bigelow’s Strange Days, Black Panther and Waiting to Exhale. We got a lot of joy in spending a bit of time with all of these films.
This week was Scott’s turn at the quiz before we venture into an alternative past and an exhilarating future as we offer up our fantasy picks for what we’d love to have seen and see Angela do on the big screen. For all that she has brought it is so unusual to us that we have not had even more from this searing presence in cinema.

We then have a good old Imelda-themed quiz for Michael to take on. Can he prove to be the fan he has always claimed to be? You’ll have to join us to find out. This is a good one for fans of film scores.

Christine Baranski | Episode 20
Christine has been on our list since the beginning and felt like the only choice for some party season frivolity, as the star of How The Grinch Stole Christmas, A Bad Moms Christmas, AND Dolly Parton’s Christmas On The Square, how could we not!?
We also took tremendous joy talking about Christine’s other fabulous film roles from Chicago to Bowfinger whilst of course not missing out on the joys of the Mamma Mia movies.
We could not discuss Christine Baranski without talking about and celebrating the great Stephen Sondheim, so we hope you enjoy joining in on that with a Sondheim-themed quiz.
We round off as always with our wish lists for this iconic star’s future film endeavors. Christine Baranski brought us the delightful times we needed during these chillier nights and we hope you can enjoy that with us.
