We are continuing our Nicholas Sparks month with the 2013 movie "Safe Haven" starring Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel.  This one is...an experience.

Welcome to another theme month!  Since this is the month of love, the hosts are going to cover the romance movies of Mr. Nicholas Sparks.  Their first movie is 2010's Dear John starring Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried.  Neither of them have see it and there are some pleasant surprises in store.

This week we are stepping back into history, specifically British history.  We are watching the 2009 film "The Young Victoria" starring Emily Blunt, Rupert Friend, and Paul Bettany.  Also a history time with Kia!

This week we are tackling a new movie to both hosts, but one with very familiar stars.  It's 2013's "The Love Punch" starring Emma Thompson and Pierce Brosnan.  This heist movie has fun with itself and the hosts are along for the ride!

We're flashing back almost 20 years this week to cover 2003's "What a Girl Wants" starring Amanda Bynes and Colin Firth.  Revisiting this was a pleasure as it brought back memories and songs we love.

This week we are watching a movie full of our favorite British actors: 2011's "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" starring Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Dev Patel, and Bill Nighy to name a few.  Enjoy this film about seniors moving to India to retire at a "luxury hotel."  This is a fun one for us!

We are wrapping up our Christmas season with a favorite of both hosts, the 1992 Muppet Christmas Carol starring Michael Caine.  This musical rendition of the tale does some unique and special things.  Reminder, we are taking the next two weeks off for holiday celebrations!  Happy Holidays!

It's the most Wonderful Time of the Year and the hosts are celebrating with more Christmas movies! This time they are covering the 2021 Netflix movie "Love Hard" starring Nina Dobrev and Jimmy O. Yang.  The hosts have some feelings about this Christmas movie involving catfishing...

It's the most wonderful time of the year again and the hosts are bringing you some Christmas cheer!  This week they cover the 2020 film "Happiest Season" starring Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis.  The hosts discuss the madcap antics of the family and the groundbreaking nature of the main couple.

We are flashing back to the 80s with another family film.  This week it's 1987's "Three Men and a Baby" starring Tom Selleck, Ted Danson, and Steve Guttenberg.  The hosts had a ball revisiting the antics of these three men as they figure out how to care for the baby left on their doorstep.

That's right, this week we are keeping the Sister Act train alive and talking about the sequel, 1993's "Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit" starring Whoopi Goldberg, Kathy Najimy, and Lauryn Hill.  The hosts have some fun talking about their childhood memories and love of this film.

And now for something lighter!  This month the hosts are trying some lighter movies, starting with 1992's "Sister Act" starring Whoopi Goldberg and Maggie Smith.  The hosts discuss their love of the cast, especially Whoopi Goldberg.  Settle in for a fun movie.

We close out our Hitchcock month with one of his most famous scary films, 1960's "Psycho." In this episode, you'll get a history lesson from Kia and the hosts break down why they feel the way they do about scary movies. 

This week we go to another early Hitchcock film.  We are talking about 1940's "Rebecca" starring Joan Fontaine (again) and Laurence Olivier based on the Daphne Du Maurier novel.  The hosts will talk about gothic horror and the amazing acting that goes on in this film.

Continuing our Hitchcock month, this week the hosts cover 1941's "Suspicion" starring Joan Fontaine and Cary Grant.  The hosts discuss the film, the novel, and Michele's huge crush on Cary Grant.

Our Hitchcock month begins with a classic story, 1951's "Strangers on a Train," starring Farley Granger and Robert Walker.  The hosts have some great love for this story and the way Hitchcock builds the tension.

It's spooky month and this month we are covering Alfred Hitchcock movies.  To give some context on the censorship of the time, Kia presents a primer on the Hayes Code.

This week we cover a movie new to both hosts 2017's Home Again starring Reese Witherspoon, Michael Sheen, and Candace Bergen.  The hosts are happily surprised and hope you will be too!

Buckle up, listeners.  This week the hosts cover 2008's "Made of Honor" starring Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan. There are feelings had and few of them are wonderful.

This week, the hosts are covering a modern rom-com classic 2008's "27 Dresses." The hosts have some mixed feelings on this one.  And they both have the same question about the ending.

This week, the hosts go back 20 years to revisit an old favorite, 2001's "Serendipity" starring John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale.  How has this movie faired over the years?

Back to our usual shenanigans this week, we are covering a more typical rom-com.  This week we discuss 2012's "This Means War" starring Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine, and Tom Hardy.  There are some genuinely great comedic moments in this colored with some problematic dating behavior.   But the bromance!

To close out the month, we are covering a classic musical.  Some might even say the most quintessential musical, 1952's "Singin' in the Rain" starring Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds, and Donald O'Conner.  This is a great musical full of amazing numbers.   But perhaps one number that doesn't quite fit...according to our hosts at least.

To continue our musicals month, this week we watch another adaptation of a Broadway show that started life as a movie, 2007's "Hairspray" starring Nikki Blonsky, Zac Efron, and Queen Latifah. There is so much right with this movie...as well as a bit of weirdness.

This week for musicals month, the hosts are discussing Mel Brooks' 2005 film "The Producers," starring Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, and Uma Thurman. This is a Mel Brooks film so laughs are had and satire is a given. 

Time for another theme month!  This month we are talking about musicals, starting with 1997's Cinderella starring Brandy and Whitney Houston.  The girls have a good time with this one.

This month Kia tackles not one, not two, but three couples as she discusses the Netflix series "The Haunting of Bly Manor." SPOILERS ABOUND, as Kia walks us through the show and the three couples within the manor.

This week, the hosts are tackling 2007's "Because I Said So" starring Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore.  There are some definite opinions as this movie feels mis-marketed.  The hosts have some rewriting suggestions as well as some serious problems with the Diane Keaton character.

This week the hosts contend with microphone issues as well as a lesser known rom-com: 1996's "The Mirror Has Two Faces" starring Barbara Streisand, Jeff Bridges, and Lauren Bacall.  The first 30 minutes, Michele's mic cut out.  So sorry.  But after 30 minutes, the hosts discover and fix it.  Other than that, this movie is a treat!

This week, the hosts decide to try something new, 2017's Wilde Wedding starring Glenn Close, John Malkovich, and Patrick Stewart amongst many others.  This one is a bit of a hot mess and the hosts have some mixed feelings.

To close out Pride month, it's the 2nd half of Michele's Glee OTPs discussion.  This ep is about seasons 4-6 of the show and Michele also picks her favorite duet of each couple.

So this week, Michele leads the conversation on Glee and their pairings.  As the episode got a little long, the hosts decided to split into two episodes for easier listening. Both the hosts have feelings about Glee and this episode covers the first three season arcs of three couples: Rachel/Finn, Brittany/Santana, and Kurt/Blaine.  Enjoy!

Continuing the celebration of Pride month, this episode is about the 2020 Netflix film "The Half of It" starring Leah Lewis, Alexxis Lemire, and Daniel Diemer.  It's a coming of age story that has many things the hosts love.  The hosts reminisce about their own small town upbringings as well.

It's Pride month, ya'll.  This week's movie is the 1997 film "In & Out" starring Kevin Kline, Joan Cusack, Debbie Reynolds, and Tom Selleck.  Even with it's problems, this movie does a lot of celebrating and sharing humor and joy.  Tom Selleck surprises with his comedic timing and chemistry with Kevin Kline.  The hosts have some feelings.

Flashing back to the 1990s, this week the hosts cover the 1990 film "Green Card" starring Gérard Depardieu and Andie MacDowell.  One hosts has seen it many times, the other has not.  What does that mean for this film?

This week, the hosting duo tackle 2011's "Friends With Benefits."  Since both this and No Strings Attached came out the same year, the hosts let you know which one they prefer.  They also get to enjoy the surprise at remembering how good this movie is.

This week, we go back to Rome, but this time in a modern setting.  The hosts discuss 2020's Netflix orignal "Love, Wedding, Repeat" starring Sam Claflin, Olivia Munn, and Freida Pinto.  This one is...not what the hosts expected.

That's right buddies, it is finally OTP time again.  On this one, Michele and Kia discuss their mutual love of Cory and Topanga from Boy Meets World and Girl Meets World.  Michele takes the lead as they discuss what makes Cory and Topanga one of their favorite OTPs!

This episode the hosts tackle one of the most iconic romantic comedies ever, 1953's Roman Holiday starring Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn. There's definitely good reason this one is a classic and our hosts will discuss why.

This week the hosts discuss an obscure rom-com that starred a popular tv actress of the 90s.  The movie is 1997's "The Beautician and the Beast" starring Fran Drescher and Timothy Dalton.  Due to a technical snafu, the hosts had to record the pod twice. Yet they still enjoyed it.

Back to normal this week as the hosts cover 2011's "Crazy, Stupid Love" starring Ryan Gosling, Steve Carell, and Julianne Moore.  There are some mixed feelings on this one.  Also the hosts have some edits they'd like to make to the movie.

To finish out this month of sports, the hosts cover the Best Sport Movie 1992's A League of Their Own starring Geena Davis and Tom Hanks.  We get another history corner with Kia and the hosts pour the love on for this movie.

This week the podcast heads across the pond to talk about the 2002 film Bend it Like Beckham starring Parminder Nagra and Keira Knightley.  

This week the hosts are tackling a comedy about a group of bobsledders from Jamaica!  That's right, it's 1993's "Cool Runnings" starring John Candy.  They get into a bit of the history as well as gush about John Candy.
