Amanda continues to help in the murder investigation but must pause when Victoria's condition worsens.  Meanwhile, Victoria's identity as a witch is revealed, even though Ashton doesn't believe it.  Research in the archives shows that the town has had a Dogman problem before.  When Amanda hears the howling of wolves, Ashton goes out hunting to see if he can locate the source.

With Victoria too weak to help Sheriff Ashton, Amanda steps up to see if she can help identify the type of mysterious animal that is thought to have killed a local sous chef.

The Council has been called.  A trial of a vampire who has broken the sacred rules has begun.  Can he lover save him from a death by sunlight?

This was a piece of flash fiction I was inspired to write after re-visiting some Isaac Asimov of my teen years.  Funny enough, I wrote this pre-pandemic.  I feel it makes for a scarier story now.  

From my old podcast, "Something Wicked This Way Strums," here is a short horror story about a love conquering death with a dash of medical intervention.  As with so many of these break throughs, scruples and morals come in to question.  I've added a loving cat into the story just for good measure.  Enjoy this blast from the past.
