Use Your Voice-It Could Save your Life with Kisha Stewart
Twelve years ago, Kisha Stewart was a 31 year old who recently gave birth trying to enjoy a night out with her husband. She dismissed some symptoms she was experiencing, but as the night progressed, she could not ignore what she was feeling and she went to the Emergency Room. Thanks to the RN who realized she was having a heart attack, she was eventually diagnosed with Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD). She is now an advocate for women who need to use their voice when they know something isn't right and yes, be dramatic to get someone to listen.
To learn more about Kisha's story including important information about heart health in women, go to https://kishaandscad.com/
You may know the typical symptoms of a heart attack but you may not know that women have different symptoms than men do. These may include:
- shortness of breath
- nausea or vomiting
- back or jaw pain.
- overwhelming sense of anxiety or a feeling of impending doom
- unusual fatigue
- dizziness
- fainting.
Women might have discomfort in the chest, but not always. It’s worth noting that symptoms in women can be subtler and may be overlooked as signs of less serious conditions, like acid reflux or the flu. Thus, both men and women should pay close attention to their bodies and seek immediate medical attention if they experience symptoms that could indicate a heart attack.

Finding Yourself and Falling In Love After 40 with Katherine Baldwin
Katherine Baldwin had an amazing career as a political journalist which took her all over the world. While she considered it a dream job, she found herself burned out in her mid 30's and needed a change. Listen to her story as she talks with Kim about her journey of discovering her "wake-up" calls and what she did to refocus on herself and what she needed and wanted in her life. She shares her "rock-bottoms" and how she helps others realize that you don't need to go that low to find yourself. She also shares her story of finding love after 40 and how her idea for her book came from the sky on a beach walk one day.
Katherine Baldwin is a relationships coach, midlife mentor, wellbeing speaker and author who supports and empowers midlife women to love themselves, create lives that they truly love and find healthy love. Katherine is a former international journalist for Bloomberg and Reuters. She worked as a foreign correspondent in Latin America and a political journalist based in the British parliament, during which time she travelled the globe with prime ministers and reported on politics, conflicts, a tsunami, an earthquake and two terrorist attacks. Yet throughout her high-profile career, Katherine was binge eating, binge drinking, over-working and engaging in unhealthy romantic relationships, eventually burning out and breaking down in her thirties.
Single, childless, burnt out and broken, Katherine found the courage to transform her life. She learned to love herself, found healthy love and marriage in her forties, published her first book, 'How to Fall in Love', and launched a successful coaching practice, using her experience and expertise to help others to make courageous changes in their lives and relationships.

Breaking (Out of) News with Sara Davenport
Sara Davenport calls herself a multi-passionate entrepreneur who was a burned out TV news anchor who wanted more and she definitely found it. Despite being an award winning journalist in a Top Ten market, Sara was not happy. She talks about how her mom-one of the first women news anchors in the 70's-warned her not to get into the industry but of course she did not listen. She talks with Kim about the realities of being a journalist today including taking on more duties for less pay, pitching ideas that may or may not be accepted, trying to write stories on the run, interviewing people, and always being "on" for breaking news to name just a few. The reality of the job is nowhere near the perception of the public especially for women who also have to juggle family along with such a demanding career.
Sara shares with Kim what she decided to do for "Plan B" and how she is helping others in TV news and more importantly, spending quality time with her four kids. You will be inspired and motivated by this conversation with someone who is so passionate about helping others choose a life and not just a living.
