An Amateur wins on Tour with Evan Schiller

We have a DROP Podcast first!!!

For the first time ever, Mike and Ryan are recording the podcast in-person!! Unfortunately there are normally some growing pains with trying something new. Tiger leaving Nike with Dan Schleichert

With the timing of the news breaking last week about Tiger we only had time for a quick PSA. So this week we break it down into a fine powder about what's going on at Nike and where he might end up next. No real updates other than Tiger left Nike and we will see him in February with his new company. Will he be in the Fox Family? Time will tell.

The fellas also discuss TPI Tuesday which came out on YouTube yesterday (1/16) and Ryan vs Tidewater Hole 3 which comes out Thursday (1/17). They also discuss Tommy Fleetwood's flight plan and win in Dubai over Rory.

The big discussion of the episode is Jersey Jerry and his recent feat of strength. Indoor simulator, 37 hours, 2627 shots, IV Drip, therapist doing body, sleep, meals; Jersey Jerry's live stream had it all!! Should it be counted as a Hole-in-One? The boys discuss that and more on today's episode!

MGA Player of the Year Mark Costanza was last weeks guest, today's is MGA Junior Player of the Year Barnes Blake. Barnes, currently a freshman at Georgetown University, had an incredible summer winning both the Carter Cup at Baltusrol and the MET Junior Championship at Echo Lake, both with course records!!!

Scotland Run, Ballamor, and SunEagles with Dawson Jones

This week we get heavy into golf courses. Mike played Ballamor and has round two with Scotland Run. He details the courses while Ryan drips with jealousy and vows to get to Ballamor by season end!

Then they discuss SunEagles Golf Club, the old Fort Monmouth course, which seems to officially be going private. NJ Public tracks are losing a great one. So the boys talk history of the course and where it goes from here. They end with a really great "From the Grandstand".

This weeks guest is Dawson Jones. Dawson played his High School out of Howell HS in the Shore Conference, then went on to a very successful career at URI, after which he decided to get into the working world. Then realizing that isn't as much fun as golfing and turned pro in December 2022. So we discuss some of his trials and tribulations throughout his first (almost) year as a pro.

Tiger back in NJ!! with guest Colin Summers

PGA & LIV can co-exist, Seaview Bay Course and The Shop Rite Classic with Guest Jeff Carswell

This weeks From the Grandstand asked us if the PGA Tour & LIV could co-exist. Well, they sure can! It was announced on Tuesday that there will be a PGA/LIV merger. How crazy is that?!

The boys venture South on the Parkway to visit Seaview Golf Club's Bay Course, which plays host to the Shop Rite Classic this week and was the winner of our March Madness DROP edition. They were able to play the course right before they closed it for the tournament and they give their thoughts leading into the week.
