This is the end...

of Season 1! After a year and a half of consistent weekly episodes, 65 episodes to be exact and that doesn't include our minisodes (remember those?), we have decided to do seasons moving forward. As Natasha moved and started a full-time job, and with Racquel moving to LA to follow her dreams, we felt it was right to take a break and really plan the future of the podcast to make it bigger and better for you! We are excited for Millennial Girls to get a "facelift". Look forward to more funny and entertaining content to come! Stay tuned... and as we say here... Peace, Love, and Unicorns! We love you

Natasha is totally a catfish... according to Racquel. Now that Natasha is back on the prowl (aka the dating apps) we talk about our dealbreakers and Racquel's advice for catching a catfish that includes parts of what Natasha's profile looks like.

We are back this week and with an announcement. Racquel is moving to California! This week's episode has been requested over the past couple of months, and the topic is grief. Racquel's grandpa recently passed away, and she learned that it's ok to go through different emotions. No one can tell you how to feel when you grieve. You might internalize or you might become angry. Whether you're going through a break up or a death, just know that it's completely normal to go through a rollercoaster of emotions. You're not crazy!

We never know what someone is going through, and who are we to criticize a professional athlete who spent their entire life training for this moment when we sit back watching tv eating a bag of Cheetos? Simone Biles opened up about experiencing the "twisties" during the Tokyo Olympics, which forced her to withdraw from individual all-around gymnastics. This opened up a conversation around mental health. We comment on and applaud her openness around her experience as we're used to only seeing athletes fail through scandals. Let's be a little more empathetic.

We've been through quarantine, mental breakdowns and breakups, but now we're talking money. We always want to seem like we have a ton of it but is it really the root of our happiness? We got to chat with CEO and Founder of The Money Root, Migdalia Rodriguez. She gives us some insight on how to better budget ourselves and build our relationship with money into a healthy one. Let's not forget about finding our passions and how that can allow us to spend accordingly.

Inspired by the K-Drama Nevertheless, we try and figure out why we turn those walking red flags GREEN. Is it because he's tall, charming, wearing a snapback, or all the above? We should be loving the nice guy our parents want us to end up with but we completely disregard that! WHY ARE WE LIKE THIS?

However, just because we've all been cooped up for so long with the access of the world at our disposal via dating apps, does that mean we're destined to no longer desire monogamy?

It's been a year and it's ok if you are still lost, trying to find your passions while navigating through this global pandemic. How do you figure out what your passions are? We feel like this is the question we get most often so we wanted to share what helps us. Think about what you consume in all aspects of your life and why you're consuming it in the first place. There are so many different ways to incorporate your passions in your life you just have to think about what works best for you!

How has dance affected our mental well-being as adults? Natasha is moving so this week we have a special guest co-host Alex Prushinski. Alex is not only one of Racquel's best friends, but also grew up competitively dancing and now works for one of the largest dance competition companies in the world. Racquel and Alex go through their experiences growing up being extremely competitive dancers, how it has helped them in their adult life, and the differences between mental abuse and constructive criticism. Racquel finally had a breakthrough in therapy!!! As you know by now we love therapy and think if you need it GET IT. Racquel has finally had a breakthrough and realized that she is the best hype girl for everyone around her but not towards herself. Who else can relate to this? It's time to celebrate the little wins and take care of your mental health this Mental Health Awareness Month!

What do you do when your significant other drops a bomb on you, has a life crisis, and becomes super religious changing your whole relationship as you know it? How do you deal with this issue especially when it leads to a massive break up? Do you take a step back and question your priorities in a relationship? WE THINK SO. Don't be afraid to ask the hard questions like marriage and religion but maybe not the first date.

In case you haven't heard, there has been a HUGE body-shaming debate going on due to an untouched picture of Khloe Kardashian getting leaked, and her team is doing everything in their power to get it erased from existence. This makes us think... Why not be honest? When you have such a large platform and influence billions of people, wouldn't you want to come clean and promote body positivity? We dissect the situation which leads us to the conversation about being honest regarding plastic surgery and somehow end with how weird it is when kids stick weird objects up their noses. We wouldn't be the Millennial Girls without it ;)

Millennials dating during a pandemic while going TikTok viral?! We need the tea on this! We have a very special guest on this episode who you have probably seen on your FYP. Josh Zilberberg gets honest with us about the toxicity of social media, confidence on social media, and his post-TikTok fame dating life. Just know you have to put in the hard work, but remind yourself to take a deep breath and have fun with it. Thank YEW.
