Mind Gum: An Eccentric’s Personal Podcast

By Mind Gum: An Eccentric’s Personal Podcast

Mind Gum is the odd little story of me, told one lurching story at a time. I am at best an eccentric. I almost went to Yale. My parents told me I should work at McDonald’s to pay for a car instead. I worked with people on a 1500-website project. I am rotting at a call center now. These are the brief glimpses of inner peace I have from being creative. If you like my debut, please share the sugar out of it. I have to be successful at even one thing in my life, and your mentioning me would be the highest compliment. Thank you.

Music and Noise: Bizarre and Beautiful Compositions

Music and Noise: Bizarre and Beautiful Compositions

These are some of the songs that I have published at SFXRex.bandcamp.com plus a few more. Taste of an Ache, my favorite keyboard-based composition, is followed by a really bizarre reading of a 1924 business almanac. Insurance regulations by state will never sound the same again. After that, the suppressed ambient/drone How I Ache For You, then a 17-minute piece called Mother’s Last Minutes ends the show. Thank you for subscribing! UPDATE: Added the Beautiful Sickness track.

The Scambaiters, Or: 2 Guys 1 Weasel

The Scambaiters, Or: 2 Guys 1 Weasel

Welcome to Mindgum, a collection of my odd little lifetime productions. This first episode was made with my old boss. He got sick and we had to part ways, but we started a YouTube channel called The Scambaiters. I did the sound editing as a sort of silent partner. Harold, old friend, the world needs to know what a cool cat you still are, and fans, I hope you can check out my new podcast. It’s going to be a rough start, but after no longer working for Harold, I have all the motivation in the world to do something fun like he always tried to do. My life is far from fun at this point, but I have long loved the idea of podcasting from afar, and just posting this bit of old times is enough to start my journey in podcasting. I promise you’ll hear me in the next one.
