Are You Motivated Or Are you DRIVEN?
There is a big difference between motivation, inspiration and drive. On this episode of Mindset Hackers we'll talk about what each means and how each plays a role in YOU becoming the CREATOR of your life!  I never run out of the fuel inside of me that burns so hot and allows me to take action, consistently, year after year. Here is why: Motivation creates a spark. Drive creates a fire that burns inside you. Motivation is external. Drive is internal. Motivation is fleeting. Drive gains momentum. Motivation is a focus on the outcome. Drive is a focus on mastering the journey. Motivation gets you off your ass. Drive keeps you going. Motivation is something you want. Drive is something you are. Motivation is someone inspiring you. Drive is YOUR why, your passion and purpose. Motivation is believing. Drive is KNOWING. Listen to this episode as I discuss all 3 and how to create a stronger DRIVE within you!  Do this right now, drop your name on my email list to get more mindset & business nuggets:

Use Expansive Thinking To Pay For Anything You Want In Life
Mindset Hackers are you ready to expand your thinking?  On this episode I'll teach you how to use Expansive Thinking to fund anything that you want to buy in life without having to take money out of your paycheck or savings.  I once heard Robert Kiyosaki (Author of Rich Dad Poor Dad) talk about how if he wanted to buy a Ferrari, instead of paying for it, he would first create an asset that throws off enough cash flow to pay for the car he wanted.  An true asset is something that should produce a yield and not just store value (like a rental property, dividend stock, royalties from a book, sponsorship or advertising money).  But expansive thinking isn't only for creating assets that create money for what you want, you can use Expansive Thinking in several other creative ways, and I'll share several other examples on this episode!  Earlier this year I used Expansive Thinking to allow me to expand my book of business in my sales role and allow me to do more with less, stay in my zone of genius, have less stress and more time back to myself.  One of my clients was struggling to find a way to join one of my coaching communities, so together we worked out a way where she could join and in the end, because of Expansive Thinking, she ended up paying a fraction of the cost to join, but I didn't discount my services and ended up making 3x as much on that deal.  After I share a few stories on how you can use Expansive Thinking to tap into more abundance and have the things you want in life, I'll share 3 tips you can use to put this into effect and start flexing your Expansion muscles! How To WIN A No-Win Scenario
Did you know that we will literally fight to play a smaller game? Inside of our mind we often create what I would call a 'no-win' scenario. A no-win scenario is a game that we consider to be un-winnable.  This could be a 6, 7, 8 figure income. It could be a path to our true happiness. It could be related to our health or relationships. Its the goal or the dream that seems too far out of reach, and in our mind we create a 'construct' which is a box that keeps us inside, and then we play inside of this box instead of breaking free from it.  You were born to thrive, you were born to play a bigger game, you were born to make an impact in this world. But it starts with you identifying what the box, the construct, the prison inside your mind that is trying to hold you back. I'll share the 3 steps that you can do to break free of this box so that you can be absolutely LIMITLESS! The 4 Blind Spots That F*ck Up Abundance
On this episode of Mindset Hackers I go deep into the topic of Abundance, but specifically the things that hold you back from living a life of abundance in your life. What is abundance? It isn't an 'amount' like most people think. It's not an amount of money, net worth, status, titles. Think about all the millionaires and billionaires out there that live in a state of lack, always worried about losing what they have or having it taken away. Not very abundant is it?  Abundance is a feeling.  What does it feel like? Expansive, confident, creative, courageous, ever flowing. What is the opposite of Abundance? Lack. Scarcity. Constriction.  One is a courageous feeling, the other is a feeling of fear.  The easiest way to start living a more abundant life is to move away from that which constricts abundance.  We will dive into the 4 blind spots that hold you back from living a life of abundance, be more aware of these and you'll start feeling more abundant an living a life that you deserve! Drop onto my email list and get more Mindset Hacks, Tools and Tips to level up your game both personally and professionally!

The True Source Of Happiness & Joy with Michael Ray - LinkedIn Top 50 Most Impactful People
"I come from a place of misery, the shit show of life. I did not know how to smile and find happiness when I was at my worst."  Michael Ray is a legend on LinkedIn, but most people don't know what he has been through and what made him who he was today.  In this episode of Mindset Hackers, I take you behind the scenes of one of my private coaching groups where we had one of the 50 most impactful people on LinkedIn as a guest.  In 2020 during Covid, I made a pivot to LinkedIn and in my early days on the platform, I came across a viral video by Michael Ray with his beautiful daughter Maddie who has down syndrome.  Somehow the randomness of the Universe allowed me to grow a friendship with Michael and he has joined my groups as a guest speaker on several occasions.  Most people see video's of him making a difference in communities and doing random acts of kindness for those people who need it most. What people don't see and most of them don't know about is his back story and what made him the man that he is. We discuss the how the toughest things in life make us who we are, and even in those moments, we have a choice to make.  You can help Michael Ray make a difference in the lives of others, one way is to 'be the reason someone smiles'. Another way you can help is to make a donation to:

This Is How You Unlock The Next Level Of Your Life
Frustration. Desperation. Feeling like you cannot figure it out. Banging your head on the wall.  Mindset Hackers, we've all been there before. On todays episode I'll be showing you how to get past this and unlock the next level in your life.  This Mindset hack is called the 'video game' because that's how we can look at our lives.  Just like in a video game, you have different levels.  In each level there are things that you need to unlock to get to the next level. There are tools that you need to acquire. There are weapons you need to find in order to defeat the boss of each level. You cannot pass the level until you have those things.  I'll share on this episode 2 times in my life where I was banging my head against the wall and for the life of me couldn't figure it out. But then, on both times, being stuck was the best thing in the world for me and EXACTLY what I needed to THRIVE! Ultra Marathon Runner and former Navy Seal David Goggins has been interviewed on many popular podcasts which you can view on YouTube. He has one particular #mindset tool he uses on himself which you may find useful as well. He calls it "The Cookie Jar." What is the Cookie Jar? Imagine a large jar into which you place all of your past accomplishments—the things you did which you once believed would be too terrifying, too difficult, or too impossible. But you did them anyway. You transcended your own self-limiting belief. Those are the "cookies" you place in the jar. You can make a physical or digital version of this, but it's a place that you can call upon when you need to dig deeper.   When you are confronted by obstacles in life that feel too overwhelming, remember to go into your cookie jar and remove cookies of past accomplishments and draw from your past victories. They are placed there to remind you that you can do it. Level up my friends! How To Beat The Rising Costs Of Everything
Mindset Hackers - today I'm going to talk about the rising costs of goods and services that are eroding your purchasing power and making it harder for you to get by.  This episode has to do with your money and your mindset. You know the feeling, when you fill up your gas tank you are shocked by the price, same with the goods you've always been buying.  This has been in the works for decades and it's nothing new but during COVID, there was 6-7 trillion dollars printed and pumped into our system, pushing everything up in price. At first it was assets like stocks and real estate, but then the money seeped into all the cracks and started pushing everything else up, and it's not going to stop anytime soon.  Even gold and crypto doesn't beat inflation, it only get's pushed up in price because there are more dollars but lately crypto has been going the wrong way.  There is one thing you can do to beat inflation and the great investor Warren Buffett spoke about it right after the great recession in 2008 and he mentioned it again recently. Check out the latest episode to learn how to thrive during periods of high inflation.  Grab my audio masterclass "9 Ways To Monetize LinkedIn in 2022 (even with a job and kids like I have)":

How To Bend Time And Do More With Less Stress
It was September of 2021 and my wife just had a hip replacement. We couldn’t find anyone to hire to help us, but we did have some neighbors bring food and help with the kids here and there. My wife had to stay in bed for at least 4 weeks, with me assisting her to go to the bathroom, shower and I would bring food for her to eat. I also have 3 kids to take care of, one of them was a baby. I had to get them up and ready and take the 2 bigger ones to school, and put them to bed at night. I had to clean the house, with the exception of our house cleaners coming 2 times in a month. I also worked the entire time she was out of commission (12 weeks). I also kept up my morning routine (working out, meditation, visualization). I was also launching my 3rd version of my Leveraging LinkedIn course. I was also creating content on multiple platforms and starting my Mindset Hackers podcast. I was also creating 2-4 videos a month for my YouTube channel. I was also spending 2-3 hours learning as part of my mastermind group. I was also sleeping 7-8 hours a night. My routine without my wife being out is incredibly *productive* but I was definitely bursting at the seams. Here is the reason for this story: We can do so much more than we think we can, and having stress about it is optional. Think about this for a second, a 40 hours work week, who came up with that? And why does every job take 40 hours a week to complete? The truth is we ‘fill’ up what we are given. Just like the old saying about ‘pay yourself first’ from your paycheck, otherwise you’ll spend everything and have nothing left for you at the end. Check out this episode to hear more about how I love to BEND time to my advantage and to do it without so much stress and overthink.  Connect with me on LinkedIn: Connect with me on Instagram:

How To Be A Business Savage With Cassandra Britton
They call her the Business Savage. They said everything was handed to her. They said it was because of her looks. “Nothing’s been handed to me in my entire life. It’s easy for people on the outside to look in and see these shiny things or what I’ve accomplished. But they don’t know what I’ve been through. They don’t know about the Lawsuits. They don’t know I’ve been through Labor Board Claims. Being cut from hockey teams (yes, she was a hockey player). They don’t know the amount of debt I had to go into to get to the places I was at. But I had a resiliency that I would never, ever, ever give up.” “I don’t care how many doors are slammed in my face, or how many people try to knock me down. As long as I have a heartbeat, I will get back up.” That is what a Business Savage is all about. A Savage is committed, a savage will never give up. They are committed to a life that they are so worthy of. They will always find a way to pick themselves up and get through it. I’m honored to have Cassandra Britton on this weeks episode of Mindset Hackers. She is a former competitive athlete, worked for the Toronto Raptors, started a 7 figure business at age 19, and now runs the Business Savage Academy where she teaches entrepreneurs the resiliency needed to succeed. This episode was absolute FIRE so put it on your playlist! The Biggest Threat To Your Long Term Success
Welcome Mindset Hackers to a brand new week and another opportunity for you to go out and create the life that you love! We live in a day and age where we have so many tools to create the life that you want, the live that you truly deserve.  It has never been easier, with so many tools available, for you to live the life of your dreams, to have a voice, to get paid to do what you love. But the promise of instant success is so seductive, and marketers use this as an angle to get your money.  What happens is people get lured into the idea of instant success, quick results. What actually happens is people hit the wall in the first 3 to 6 months of their great endeavor, reality hits and the realization that it is harder than they though.  Self doubt starts to creep in. "Am I made for this?" "What's wrong with me?" "Why are other people succeeding when I am not"?  The truth is, success takes time. It doesn't need to be hard, but it does take time. The expectation of quick results can be your biggest downfall. Focus on Mastery instead, and the results will come.  Gary Vaynerchuck wrote an entire book documenting the back stories of so many incredible influencers such as Rich Roll, and how many years of cutting their teeth. This is the path of the entrepreneur.  Rachel Hollis once got interviewed and was asked about her instant success of her best selling books "Girl Wash Your Face" and "Girl, Stop Apologizing". She kindly let the interviewer know that she had 6 books that she had written before that, books that no one has heard of.  Mindset Hackers - Don't forget to jump on my email list for some weekly content that I do not share on social media or my podcast: Connect with me on LinkedIn: Connect with me on Instagram: The book from Gary Vaynerchuck that I mentioned in this podcast is called "Crushing It", a great read for entrepreneurs and understanding it will take time.  Success comes 3 steps beyond the point where you want to quit.

Do You Need To Believe In Yourself To Take Action?
What is up Mindset Hackers? Are you ready for an upgrade to your belief system? I keep hearing that "you don't need to believe in yourself to take action" (usually from very confident people), but let's call this out: if you don't believe in yourself, it can really hold you back in the form of indecision, imposter syndrome, procrastination, self doubt.  Let's be real, it isn't that easy to 'just take action', lack of self belief can be absolutely paralyzing! Suffocating! Stifling!  On top of that, even if you THINK you believe in yourself, you may be wondering 'well why have I not accomplished this'?  Here's the deal: Your actions will tell you where your belief system lies.  This means that even in your conscious mind, if you are saying 'yeah, anything's possible' but you aren't DOING the work, then your subconscious isn't bought in yet.  That was what happened to me in 2019, but it was an incredible realization because then I realized that even with people who are confident, there still is that edge of their belief system, it might just not look the same. We can all benefit from upgrading our belief system, and YES, it does impact the actions you take.  Mindset Hackers, take 5 seconds and drop on to my email list because I send out goodies through the week to keep you pumped up, and I want you to be informed if I do any events or zoom calls:

How To Go From Shy And Introverted To A Champion Networker - Steve Spiro (The LinkedIn Master Connector)
Mindset Hackers: Can you relate to this?  Growing up shy and introverted, the last thing Steve Spiro thought I’d ever be called a master connector. But deep down he really did want to break out of his shell. He knew he had a real purpose but, struggled to find that purpose. His family struggled financially and that sparked his drive and ambition to never have to worry or stress about money. He worked with his dad in the family business while in High School and also while going to College. Seeing his dad being almost a slave to his business while still not really getting ahead, had a profound impact on him. "In an effort to blaze my own trail and not make some of the mistakes my dad made, right out of college, I started my own advertising company with a partner and opened an office in New York City." But everything changed when he started training in the martial arts in '83. For the first time Steve experienced personal growth and development, not just physically but mentally and spiritually as well. Growing myself personally in those areas became addictive. Steve went on to be a black belt in '87, with a 4th degree blackbelt in Karate and 1st degree in JuJitsu. "I started to see the power of mentorship and self development, at first how it helped me change and become the man I hoped I could become. But it was even more exciting when I got to “pay it forward” and start to help others in the same way I was helped." In November of 2020 Steve was blessed to have been approved to do a LinkedIn live show, called the Master Connector Show. This show is broadcast live on Wednesdays 1pm EST. "Our show’s mission is right online with my personal mission which is to be the light, uplift and inspire. It’s been a tremendous experience!" "There are three things I live my life by: the power of mentorship, growing oneself through self development and continuing to create meaningful connections through building a large network." On this episode me and Steve dive into some true ways to help you become a better connector, a better networker, and why this is so important. It's not just about making money or finding someone who can help you out, it's about serving others and the feelings that come with being a more connected human being.  Connect with Steven and even set up a call with him by going to his LinkedIn profile: Get exclusive content around mindset and personal development by hoping on my list:

Don't Let The Fear Of Rejection Hold You Hostage
Today I'm going to be talking about my Moonshot Monday routine that helps me to not give AF about rejection or being told no, or to not fear failure.  A Moonshot Idea: a wildly ambitious goal, thinking big, 'so there is a chance'.  So often we are held back, debilitated by the fear of rejection, the fear of being told no. So how  do you neutralize this fear? By leaning into it, by taking it out of the equation. Just like in the 90's action movie 'Speed' with Keanu Reeves when his partner got taken hostage by a terrorist, he shoots his friend in the leg so that the terrorist could no longer control him. 'Take the hostage out of the equation'.  So, if your fear of rejection, your fear of being told no is holding you hostage, you need to take it out of the equation by making bigger asks.  Get used to exercising the muscle inside of you that is ok with not winning or getting your way, and when you flex this muscle often enough, you get used to it so you no longer fear it, or even feel it for that matter. In this episode I tell a story about my bike racing and share a story of how I once was playing 'not to lose' instead of 'playing to win'.  I will also share with you a lesson from my sales career and how I learned to not give AF about being told no because each time I hear a no, it brought me closer to a yes.  What can you do in your life to start thinking bigger, being told no more often, so that you are no longer held hostage by the fear of rejection? Make sure to hit the subscribe button and drop me a ***** rating, and I would love it if you would share the Mindset Hackers podcast with others.  Did you know that soon I'll be rolling out Mindset Hackers events and additional content?  Get on my email list and I'll keep you up to date!

The One Blindspot That Will Hold You Back The Most + Why Its Good To Be Weird With Dean DeVries
Want to get weird? It would be weird if you didn't! On today's episode of Mindset Hackers I have a very special interview with Dean DeVries, a master of developing leaders and professionals, the president of The Deans List Real Estate Group and a partner in the Business Breakthrough and Elite Coaching Systems. Dean is a lifelong friend of Rob Dial (Mindset Mentor Podcast) and partner in helping develop the top coaches in the world. If you ask Dean what business he is in, it is neither coaching or real estate, but in 'developing people'.  In this episode I asked Dean where does someone start if they are looking to level up in their personal or professional lives. "Let's start with what to stop doing" and Dean gives me his insights into the number one blind spot that holds people back the most.  We also get in the topic of weird rituals in personal development, such as Wim Hof breathwork that we do in our mastermind groups. We discuss the topic of how being able to lean into our 'weirdness' can unlock our true passion and authenticity, and allow us to worry less about judgment from others. "What is weird, anyway?" - its a construct that we have made up in order to keep us in a herd, blending in, not standing out. But we were all meant for true greatness! Connect with Dean DeVries at: "The mind under control is your best friend, the mind wandering about is your worst enemy." Make it your best friend, Wim Hof “Life is like a river. The way of life is to flow with the current. To turn against it takes effort but the current will carry you if you let it. Float with joy." Wim Hof

Do These 2 Things TODAY To Start Create More Abundance In Life
Mindset Hackers: Do you want a simple way to create more abundance in your life? Try these 2 simple practices to allow for you to step into a more expanded version of yourself.  It was June 7th of 2009, a very impactful day for me. On that day, I won my first bike race, and then later that night I was celebrating with a couple of friends and kissed my friend of 7 years who eventually became my wife.  We started dating and 2 months later I was about to compete in my next bike race and my future wife asked me if she could come watch me. I told her she didn't need to do that. I didn't want her to have to 'go out of her way' to drive up the canyon, early in the morning, out in the cold, to watch me ride by on a bike. She though that I didn't want her to come.  I realized that I was a poor receiver and that it was incredibly hard for me to receive help or support from others. Looking back it was because my parents never seemed to be very interested in what I was into, which was martial arts and bike racing.  My mom has never watched me race my bike or compete. My dad showed up a few times to give me a ride to a race or competition but it was preferred if I could get a ride from someone else.  This created a feeling of unworthiness inside of me and made me feel like it was a 'hassle' to ask for help, and this is still something I work through to this very day.  This episode we'll focus on tuning up your 'asking & receiving' muscles to help you get more abundance in your life! Make sure to drop your name on my email list for more content and invitations to events or free offerings:

Julie Hruska - Top 50 Most Impactful People On LinkedIn Talks About The 3 'C's of High Performance
March 15th 2020, we all remember that timeframe when the world shut down and many of us had to pivot. Some of us had our careers completely wiped out.  For Julie Hruska, she would teach her last 'in person' class on this day, then shut down her studio 6 years prior to her existing plans.  Julie then made her pivot, she declared what she wanted to do, which was expand in a time of contraction. Then it started, full send on getting active on LinkedIn, creating content, getting active on video, networking.  Julie posted this on her LinkedIn page recently:  "2 years ago, when the world locked down, I faced the dark unknown. As a single mother of 3 and an entrepreneur, I had to pivot quickly to keep the lights on and food on our table. It sounds dramatic, because it was. I knew that if I didn’t quickly shift to a virtual model for my business, my coaching company wouldn’t survive and my children would suffer. The pivot was fast, but I was committed. There was a steep learning curve. I had to learn LinkedIn, content creation, posting, connecting, and engaging I had to learn video recording, editing, and captioning. I had to open up to write again and learn to edit for social media. I had to be vulnerable and risk judgment. It was often terrifying, but I kept stepping beyond fear, toward freedom, moving forward one courageous step at a time." Julie and I had a wonderful discussion about her incredible backstory and pivot, then going into her pillars of creating success in the high performance realm using her 3 'c's of success.  Julie applied the exact blueprint of what she teaches to other executives in her own life, she 'walks the walk' and shows others how to do the same.  Jack Welsh, former CEO of General Electric and one of the most prolific leaders of the late 90's once said: “Face reality as it is, not as it was or as you wish it to be.” Jack Welsh also said:  “Control Your Own Destiny or Someone Else Will” Make sure to check out this incredible episode if you are interested in Leadership, Executive Lifestyle and High Performance Habits. Use These 2 Questions To Become A Badass At Making Crucial Decisions
On Todays episode of Mindset Hackers I'll be sharing with you 2 questions you can ask yourself before you make any crucial decision that can affect your health, your finances, your relationships, your career.  A decision can have 2 vastly different outcomes, they can put you into a place of abundance and happiness, or a place of scarcity.  Take for example the Great Recession of 2008 when the housing and stock market bubbles burst and so many people got completely wiped out, while a very select few made lifetime fortunes.  There were so many that were near retirement, with a sizeable nest egg, that made the WRONG decision when it came to protecting their wealth. They sold at the bottoms or near the bottoms and missed out on capturing the opportunity of a life. At the same time, there were those who kept their emotions in check and doubled down and purchased assets at the best time, during a 50% off sale.  1 decision, 2 vastly different results that had ripple effects that lasted decades. So how do you stay on point with making better decisions? Tune into this episode and I'll share with you the 'compass' question that I use that helps me to make much better decisions that I did when I was younger.  Here are a few quotes from Warren Buffett, one of the people that I look up to for being in check with his emotions and purchasing assets instead of selling them at the wrong time, but working from a place of courage and having an incredible strong mindset:  "Be fearful when others are greedy. Be greedy when others are fearful." “The best chance to deploy capital is when things are going down.” Start making better decisions today but asking yourself questions that will align with courage and your core values of your highest self.  Mindset Hackers: Drop in on my email list for some extra goodies and weekly inspiration!

The One Thing You Can Do Today To Get Results Fast - With Ammar Assad
Today on the Mindset Hackers Podcast it's time to drop some major heat with one of the most impressive entrepreneurs that I know, Ammar Assad.  Ammar owns 2 rental car franchises and learned how to 'detach' from his businesses and hire the right managers to allow those to function independently, they started business coaching to help others do the same.  Ammar is a leader within a top sales and coaching organization who helps other coaches go from average to elite. He has also been a pivotal colleague in my own entrepreneurial journey and a great friend as well.  Before we started recording, I asked Ammar what was one topic that he was excited to jam about and he said 'Taking Action', which was EXACTLY what I was wanting to talk about.  As you know, I often talk about the formula for success being this equation "Knowledge + Action - Overthink = Massive Results".  When you dissect any journey, and you use this formula, you can find out where the breakdown is: you are lacking the skills and knowledge, or you've gotten past that part and you aren't taking action.  Ammar and I have a powerful discussion on ways to know when you are in 'knowledge collecting mode' and also taking 'covert action' meaning you are taking action in ways that are avoiding the type of action that gets results.  Ammar also share's his favorite quote that got him out of his own head and taking action: "If you think it's going to be a bitch, then it's going to be a bitch" Rob Dial  Connect with Ammar on Instagram at: Drop in on my email list for more badass content:

How To Massively Upgrade Your Belief System
In this episode of Mindset Hackers, we discuss the power of having an unwavering faith, belief and absolute confidence in what it is that you want to accomplish!  Belief is the seed of action. This means the stronger your belief system, the stronger the actions you will take towards creating that life that you want! The other night I was watching "Spiderman: No Way Home" with my son, and MJ mentioned to Peter Parker after suffering a devastating let down: "If you expect disappointment, then you wont be disappointed". Would you agree that if you are fearing being disappointed, you will hold back? You won't go 'all in', and in some cases, you will be paralyzed and unable to take action. The formula for success is as follows: Knowledge + Action - Overthink = Massive Results. What is overthink? It's caused by negative self talk, doubt, lack of confidence or debating in your head if you took the right actions or not. What if you could use that time and energy that you are spending in overthink and direct that right into your goals? It will turn the headwind into a tailwind! The 4 levels of belief:  Lack of belief (self doubt, lack of confidence, imposter syndrom) Conscious belief - this is where your conscious mind knows that you can do it, but you are still suffering from the voices of doubt. Confidence - this is where you aren't afraid to fail or to be let down, but you still have some overthink. Unwavering faith - this is the point you can get to where your belief is so strong that nothing is questioned and all of that energy goes into propelling you forward.  In this episode I'll also drop 5 things you can do to 10x your belief in yourself because the actions that come from it will be so much stronger and more powerful than being in a state of overthinking and doubt.  Subscribe to my email list for more great content around business and mindset:  https://simonwparsons/email_list

The Secret To Attracting More And Chasing Less - With Hallie Avolio
*Make sure to check the show notes after listening* Hello Mindset Hackers, on this episode my Mindset Twinner Hallie Avolio joins me as we talk about the importance of elevated emotions and having a high frequency makes it incredibly easy to create the life that you desire.  Last week I talked about the Law of Attraction and how most people miss out on the 'taking action' component. But there is more to that, and it has to do with you emotional frequency and staying as much as possible in what is called an 'elevated emotion'. Your emotional frequency has ranges depending on what kind of state you are in.  At the lowest part of the spectrum: fear, shame, resentment, victim mentality, unworthiness.  At the highest part of the spectrum: joy, happiness, enlightenment, freedom, gratitude.  By having an intent (of where you want to go) combined with a true elevated state, will allow more of what you want to come into your life.  In this episode we also talk about Abraham Hicks and the Emotional Guidance Scale, as well as the Emotional Frequency Scale.  We talk about how to move up the scale as well to create momentum to propel you to your life of success, and how to avoid a downward spiral.  Make sure to grab our Badass Activation Essentials:  This is a low cost, time efficient habit min-course that covers meditation/visualization, creating mental toughness, affirmations and journaling. Build your morning routine around this and practice for 2 months and see how much your life changes! Check out all that Hallie has to offer here: Here is the list of emotions from high vibe to lowest, according to the Emotional Guidance Scale from Abraham Hicks. Work your way up from low frequency to high, and you don't need to go from low to high in an instant but work your way up if you need to. Joy/Appreciation/Empowerment/Freedom/Love Passion Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness Positive Expectation/Belief Optimism Hopefulness Contentment Boredom Pessimism Frustration/Irritation/Impatience Overwhelm Disappointment Doubt Worry Blame Discouragement Anger Revenge Hatred/Rage Jealousy Insecurity/Guilt/Unworthiness Fear/Grief/Desperation/Despair/Powerlessness

You Do NOT Have To Work Hard To Succeed!
Think about this: Your entire life, you've been told that you need to 'work hard to succeed'. This is a lie.  You CAN make it hard, you CAN make it a struggle, but that is completely optional.  Does success need for you to take action? Yes. Does success take time? Yes. Does success need for you to gain new skills, use new tools, learn new things? Yes. But why does it need to be hard? Why does it need to be a struggle? The answer is because when you were a child, your elders, your parents, your mentors gave you the advice that you need to work hard for success. It's been engrained in your mind, and it has trained you to that it WILL be hard, so therefore your subconscious has a tendency to want to avoid success.  Just like the movie 'Inception', this priming of our mind that it will be hard, is what makes it hard. Our mind wants to avoid success because it THINKS it will be hard and is looking for the shortest possible path, which moves us further from the mark.  In this episode of Mindset Hackers, I will dive into 5 steps that you can take to erase the programming that is making it so hard to succeed. There is a 6th tip that I did not mention on the podcast and that is to stop labeling work as 'hard'. Your mind does not want to do things that are hard, but most of us who are driven are excited by a challenge.  Reframe: challenge > hard.  Get rid of these words as well: hustle, grind, struggle.  Time to start reprogramming your mindset to 'let it be easy'.  Make sure to check out my episode of Mindset Hackers where I talk about my favorite ways to re-program your subconscious mind.  Mindset Hackers YouTube Channel: LinkedIn: Instagram: Badass Activation Mini Course:

How To Not Suck At Being An Entrepreneur With Top Podcaster Jamie Kullman
Today on Mindset Hackers I bring you one of the top professional mindset coaches that I know. She has a podcast that ranks in the top 1.5% in the world, she has also been voted as one of the top Mompreneurs by Yahoo Finance and today she sits down with me to talk about the journey and the mindset of a true entrepreneur that makes a living doing what she loves to do.  Jamie is also a member of the Elite Mastermind group, the top mindset and personal development mastermind in the world and part of my Elite series of interviews with some of the members.  Jamie Kullman was born to be an entrepreneur, slinging car parts out of her garage right after high school. Then she became an Amazon affiliate, a model, then she became a Podcaster inspiring and empowering moms to create sources of revenue.  Then she became a professional mindset and business coach and that is how our paths have crossed.  The path of entrepreneur is no surprise: sometimes it looks all glossy and badass but what you don't see is the defeat, the starting over, the self doubt, the questioning.  But what is created from that is a forged mindset of finding a way to make it happen. For those who are willing to take this journey, if you stay on this path and learn the lessons that you need to, a very good life awaits you.  Make sure you connect with Jamie on LinkedIn at: Jamie's Podcast has been recently re-branded as the:  Aligned With Purpose In Life And Leadership Podcast.

Why Some People Massively Fail At The Law Of Attraction (And Others Thrive)
Oh that mysterious Law of Attraction thing, so easy for some, so elusive for others. On this episode of Mindset Hackers, I'll be breaking down the secret that wasn't mentioned in the book "The Secret" and why the book through so many people for a loop.  In the mid-2000's the Law of Attraction theory really started taking off because of the book "The Secret" which changed so many peoples lives.  I still hear people talking about how the Law of Attraction was the inspiration to so many to live a life that is so great.  But I've also seen people miserably fail at the Law of Attraction, saying the book was 'snake oil' and pseudo science.  The truth is most people who fail at the LOA are not using it in the right way because they are not taking the appropriate actions that correspond with truly attracting the dream outcome they desire. They do what I call 'Wishful thinking' and hope and pray that things start to come together. The 'secret' isn't much of a secret and it isn't necessarily magical or mystical (unless you want it to be) but it lies in the embodiment

She is also the 2nd interview of my Elite Series episodes where I have the honor of interviewing several members of the Elite Coaching Systems mastermind group that is the most comprehensive mindset programs in the world.  Natalie's life on the outside may look absolutely perfect and pristine now, but in her true authenticity shares with us what it looked like behind the scenes.  She had a good upbringing in a strong and supportive family but found herself overweight, addicted to drugs, pregnant without knowing who the father is, then into an abusive relationship, then many other battles.  At her darkest moment, she made a change and asked for guidance from her higher power to give her the strength to change things around. She made a major transformation in such a short amount of time by getting back to the core of her true self and 'remembering' who she really was at her core.  By doing the work, by willing to trust and surrender to the unknown, Natalie was able to attract her dream life to her.  She talks about her coming home, who she is at her core, how to shed all the external beliefs and expectations. The 17 Wealth Files From The Book: Secrets Of The Millionaire Mind (Guided affirmations)
Today on the Mindset Hackers Podcast I will share the 17 wealth files from the book Secrets of the Millionaire Mind written by T. Harv Ecker.  These make excellent affirmations, listen to this episode often and put it in a playlist. Start to be aware of these wealth files in your own life and how you can start to think bigger, to see more abundance, to take ownership of your life, to commit yourself to being rich, to surround yourself with more successful people, to be bigger than your problems. The two things I would change in these wealth files:  The wealthy give to others and share their wealth. They also don't just focus on 'net worth', they focus on 'cash flow'.  The wealth files are:  Wealth File #1: Rich people believe “I create my life.” Poor people believe “Life happens to me.” Wealth File #2: Rich people play the money game to win. Poor people play the money game to not lose. Wealth File #3: Rich people are committed to being rich. Poor people want to be rich. Wealth File #4: Rich people think big. Poor people think small. Wealth File #5: Rich people focus on opportunities. Poor people focus on obstacles. Wealth File #6: Rich people admire other rich and successful people. Poor people resent rich and successful people. Wealth File #7: Rich people associate with positive, successful people. Poor people associate with negative or unsuccessful people. Wealth File #8: Rich people are willing to promote themselves and their value. Poor people think negatively about selling and promotion. Wealth File #9: Rich people are bigger than their problems. Poor people are smaller than their problems. Wealth File #10: Rich people are excellent receivers. Poor people are poor receivers. Wealth File #11: Rich people choose to get paid based on results. Poor people choose to get paid based on time. Wealth File #12: Rich people think “both.” Poor people think “either/or.” Wealth File #13: Rich people focus on their net worth. Poor people focus on their working income. Wealth File #14: Rich people manage their money well. Poor people mismanage their money well. Wealth File #15: Rich people have their money work hard for them. Poor people work hard for their money. Wealth File #16: Rich people act in spite of fear. Poor people let fear stop them. Wealth File #17: Rich people constantly learn and grow. Poor people think they already know. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind is an excellent book that I encourage you to read if you want to level up your abundance and wealth.  Check out T. Harv Ecker here:

How To Reprogram Your Subconscious To Create Success On Autopilot
Did you know your Subconscious Mind is responsible for 99.99 Percent of the information that is processed in your brain?  Today on Mindset Hackers we are going to dive into how the subconscious is keeping you on autopilot for so many things that you don't realize, and most of the time it's holding you back instead of moving you forward.  What if you could flip the switch and re-wire your subconscious mind to work FOR you instead of against you? Don't believe me that its holding you back? In this episode I dive into a couple of minor examples of how the subconscious mind has held me back but the reality is it's affecting us far more than we realize.  The truth is our mind is wired to keep us alive, to keep us safe, and our modern world the dangers aren't the same as when we were living in the prehistoric times where we had to live in scarcity and in a tribe.  I'll share 5 tips that I personally use to re-program my subconscious to align myself with success.  Don't get me wrong, I do the work, but the stuff I do helps make it easier on the back end and some of my practices are so easy to do.  Start to rewire your subconscious mind today and allow that resourceful supercomputer inside of your head to make things happen on your behalf without you thinking about it.  You can use some of the Mindset Hackers Guided Visualizations, Affirmations and Meditations to help with reprogramming your mind as well: Suggested reading: The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind  by Dr. Joseph Murphy

How To Bend Your Perception Of Time And Master Productivity
How we 'feel' about time has more to do with productivity than you realize. Today on Mindset hackers I give some hacks on how to change your perception of time so that you can do more and stress less.  Imagine the millionaires and billionaires out there and how they always feel like they 'never have enough'. They literally have endless amounts of money that is likely to never run out, but they 'feel' like its never enough, or that it will run out, or that it will be taken away. That is living in a state of lack, and time can be perceived in the same way as money, and give you the 'rushed' feeling where you are always so busy. Once you have the awareness of the lack of time, you can start to feel better about what you are doing and how much time you actually have, and move away from busy-ness and overthink. Imagine if you stopped stressing about time, and using precious energy in your mind, and turned that into fuel that moves you forward?  The 5 tips that I share about creating more abundance in time: 1 - Find a way to stay in your zone of genius by leveraging what you do not want to do by hiring it out. A V/A, an industry expert, an accountant.  2 - Every day just focus on 1 to 3 things that will move you forward in the life that you want to create.  3 - Do 20-30 minutes of meditation every day to help you focus better, to clear out the wasted overthink that keeps you stuck. This will make you become more effective, clear and productive.  4- Stop using words like 'busy, rushed, pressured' and instead use words like 'productive, dialed in, focused, active'. 5 - Pay yourself first with time just like you would with money.  Let's go my friends!!!!

Surrender Your Way To Success with Hana Dhanji - Former Wall Street Lawyer And Executive Coach
On today's episode of Mindset Hackers, I chat with Former Wall Street Lawyer, now an Executive Coach Hana Dhanji and we talk about the trappings of 'chasing success', the dopamine treadmill, and how to get off. So many of us high performers try to control outcomes yet we miss out on the signs that the Universe is leaving right in front of us. We are always in a constant state of evolution and therefore what we know or can see at any given point, doesn't always give us the answers we need, but we need to trust that it will come into focus. Hana has also been on the treadmill of success in her own path and she shares her backstory with us of chasing to become a Wall Street Lawyer and work in some of the biggest cities such as New York and Dubai, but realized that she was out of alignment. From Imposter Syndrome To Writing Your Own Rule Book with Hallie Avolio
In this episode of Mindset Hackers, my good friend Halie Avolio and I talk about imposter syndrome and the many ways it can show up, and how to start blazing your own trail and not doing things based on the expectations of others.  Imposter syndrome is usually the feeling of: I'm not worthy "Who am I to" What if they find out I'm a fraud? They have so much more experience than I do But Hallie explains that Imposter Syndrome isn't just not having the 'skillset' of someone who is further along the path that you, but it can also be not living in alignment with your true self, therefore giving you this feeling of not being worthy. Bronnie Ware, in her book "The 5 Regrets Of The Dying" she talks about the number 1 regret of the dying is: I wish I had lived a life true to myself.  Hallie goes deep into how living a life that aligns with our CORE values, it puts us back into alignment and recommends journaling every day and writing down what YOUR core values are.  Hallie also challenges you to re-frame Imposter Syndrome from being a fraud or imposter, to someone who is stepping into something new.  Below is a list of core values commonly used by leadership institutes and programs. This list is not exhaustive, but it will give you an idea of some common core values (also called personal values). My recommendation is to select less than five core values to focus on—if everything is a core value, then nothing is really a priority. Core Values List Authenticity Achievement Adventure Authority Autonomy Balance Beauty Boldness Compassion Challenge Citizenship Community Competency Contribution Creativity Curiosity Determination Fairness Faith Fame Friendships Fun Growth Happiness Honesty Humor Influence Inner Harmony Justice Kindness Knowledge Leadership Learning Love Loyalty Meaningful Work Openness Optimism Peace Pleasure Poise Popularity Recognition Religion Reputation Respect Responsibility Security Self-Respect Service Spirituality Stability Success Status Trustworthiness Wealth Wisdom

Ditch the S.M.A.R.T Goals And Be Unrealistic With This 5 Step Process
Today on Mindset Hackers I will give you the 5 step formula for crushing your biggest goals and how to stay on top of them through the entire year.  It's the 3rd week of January and its the time where most people start letting off the gas on their goals. They say that 92% of people fail at their new years resolution, yet we hear all about S.M.A.R.T goals in the corporate world.  SMART Goals are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time Bound. What is attainable? Everything! What is realistic? Codeword for 'I don't want you to fail so be realistic'.  Ultra-athlete, best selling author and former Navy Seal David Goggins knows all about the breaking through what we think is 'realistic'.  In his mind, he calls this the 'governor', like the device that is on a sports car that limits how fast it can go. A Porsche could go 190 without a governor, but at 135 miles per hour its cuts off the gas and prevents it from going that fast.  According to David Goggins, when we start to want to tap out, to give up, to quit, we've only hit 40% of our capacity and that should tell us that we  have so much further we can go.  So if we go into our goals describing them as needing to be 'attainable' and 'realistic', right there we are setting our own governor.  Let's dive into the 5 steps that you can use to level up this year by adding: Clarity around your goals. A strong and compelling why (anchoring pain and pleasure). Visibility around your goals. Accountability around your goals. A detailed plan of action. Let's make it happen Mindset Hackers!

How To Obliterate Self Doubt And Rewire Your Mindset To Be Unstoppable
In this episode of Mindset Hackers I detail how I start the my day and create enough momentum to destroy any obstacle that comes in my path, and that would also include the limiting beliefs that (could) hold me back.  I'll share with you the 4 mantras/affirmations that I say to my self several hundreds of times during the year.  I say these over and over, as I take a cold shower every morning, because I am reprogramming my mind to be able to figure out anything. How to be more mentally tough. How to be more resourceful. How to keep going.  The book that I recommend in this episode is "Mindset" by Carol Dweck where she coined the term 'Growth Mindset' and 'Fixed Mindset'. This is an excellent read and one that I find more and more value in the traits of how highly successful people look at things like learning, failure, adaptability and ego.  Start using these 4 mantras and do them every day like I do and you'll start to program yourself with the traits of a growth mindset and be able to go deeper into your reserves when tackling some of your biggest goals.  “He didn’t ask for mistake-free games. He didn’t demand that his players never lose. He asked for full preparation and full effort from them. “Did I win? Did I lose? Those are the wrong questions. The correct question is: Did I make my best effort?” If so, he says, “You may be outscored but you will never lose.”  Carol Dweck  “Why waste time proving over and over how great you are, when you could be getting better? Why hide deficiencies instead of overcoming them? Why look for friends or partners who will just shore up your self-esteem instead of ones who will also challenge you to grow? And why seek out the tried and true, instead of experiences that will stretch you? The passion for stretching yourself and sticking to it, even (or especially) when it’s not going well, is the hallmark of the growth mindset. This is the mindset that allows people to thrive during some of the most challenging times in their lives.”

Ditch The Resolutions To DOMINATE Your Year - With Hallie Avolio
Did you know that the failure rate of New Years Goals is about 92%? What is it about the 8% that actually do hit their big hairy and audacious goals? In this episode of Mindset Hackers, my mindset twinner Hallie Avolio and I jump into why people fail at their goals and what to do to set your year off in the right way. Hallie shares her 4 step process on setting intentions for the year. We also dive into the concept of embodiment, the ‘feeling’ of what it is that you want to experience, and why it’s so important to use the feeling to precede the actual experience. As Dr. Joe Dispenza says, the pathway to manifestation is to use intention to cast a line out into the quantum field and the elevated emotion is what reels it back in to create the actual experience. This is YOUR year my friends, don’t let it be like every single other year where you set a goal, then forget about it after week number 3 or let it sit written down on a piece of paper and then stuffed in your desk drawer only to be found in August. Don't Wait For The Conditions To Be Just Right. Make The Conditions Adapt To You.
Short and sweet today my fellow Mindset Hackers! There is a quote that I love: "It's better to sweat in training than to bleed in battle".  My first intention for this year to to level up my seeking out of that which is uncomfortable and I invite you to join me to do the same. Ultra-athlete, former Navy Seal and often called 'the worlds toughest man' is David Goggins. I read a post from David sometime in 2021 where he talked about how we often 'check the weather' before going out and training, instead of training regardless of what the weather is like.  This year, go out and attack life, before life attacks you.  Have an incredible start to 2022! "Your level of income, happiness and fulfillment is in direct proportion to your level of personal development'. - Jim Rohn. This year commit to your own personal development. Develop yourself to the highest version of yourself and the external world will match up to that in time.

How To Live With Intention & Purpose with Author Bobby Dysart
The story is not new and one I talk about a lot here on Mindset Hackers: The dopamine treadmill. Obsessing over the next commission, promotion or opportunity. Hopelessly focused on reaching the next level of success or hitting a moving target of satisfaction.  When you are on the treadmill, you are missing out on life. The sunrise, the air, the music, the food, the touch, the senses all become desensitized.  You focus on things in the future, you focus on things in the past, but you miss out on the present, which is the only place you should be.  Bobby Dysart, author of The 5 Buckets: The Framework For Living With Intention and host of the School of Intention Podcast describes his story of being successful, by the standard metrics, before Covid disrupted his new start up business and left him with half of his clients.  During a weekend retreat, he was able to connect with himself and others on a different level, and help give him the guidance that he needed to find the truest fulfillment in life.  He dove into meditation, self love, connection, ice bath's, yoga sessions, sharing circles, journaling, nature hikes; completely an inward journey. After that his life was changed forever.  He developed a deeper connection with his daily actions and built a framework for really living, which he now shares on the Mindset Hackers podcast. The 5 buckets are:  Relationships. Creativity. Health. Learning. Work.  If you've found yourself on the treadmill of work and life, maybe its time to slow down and embrace being intentional, finding your purpose, and getting back to the basics of enjoying life to the fullest.  Connect with Bobby at: Find out more about the 5 Buckets and The Student Of Intention Podcast:

From Washing Dishes To 8 Figure Mindset - LinkedIn, Salesforce and Forbes Influencer: Marcus Chan
Go to school. Work hard. Get a job and get paid 6 figures. Doctor, lawyer, architect. Work for 40-50 years and you are set. Does that sound familiar?  Marcus Chan was washing dishes, sometimes for up to 15 hours on a Sunday and he knew there had to be more.  He rejected the societal constructs that said that to make money, you've got to work hard in one of those high paying jobs. As he broke through the 100k barrier, then 150, then 200, he realized he could keep going.  After getting 10 raises in 10 years and bringing in millions of dollars for a large corporation, he decided it was time to move on and become a sales coach for the top B2B and Sales professionals and leaders.  Join me and Marcus and we dissect the mindset and mindset tools & practices of an 8 figure entrepreneur. How do leaders teach their employees to cultivate a powerful mindset? Are top sales organizations teaching mindset as part of their onboarding and training? What mindset practices does Marcus do for himself? What are the top limiting beliefs and stories that sales reps have that hold them back? How did Marcus start thinking bigger and who did he learn from? We'll get deep into Mindset on this episode of Mindset Hackers.  Visualization, journaling, affirmations, we cover it all.  "If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten" Tony Robbins "What we do or cannot do, what we consider is possible or not possible, is rarely a function of our true capability. Its merely a function of our beliefs about who we truly are and what we can accomplish." Tony Robbins Follow Marcus Chan on LinkedIn: Marcus's website is:

How To Not Give A F*ck About What People Think Of You - With Hallie Avolio
In this episode of Mindset Hackers, my mindset twin Hallie Avolio and I deep dive into how to let go of caring what others think about you. We talk about our back stories in coming into the versions of us that aren't restrained by the fear of judgement of others. Some of the topics we talk about in this episode are imposters syndrome, perfectionism (fear of putting it out there), dimming our light for others, overcompensating, fear of rejection, needing external validation. Hallie and I both have our backstories and our struggles, and we share our mindset tools that we use to free ourselves from the chains that once held us back, and now give us an absolute sense of confidence and freedom.  When you stop worrying about what others think of you, you give yourself massive amounts of energy that will help propel you to new levels of the enjoyment of life. Your mind is the most energy consuming organ in your body and to obsess, stress or worry about what others think of us, we are just wasting energy on things that we can't do anything about.  Confidence is the most beautiful quality that you can possess.  "A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval" Mark Twain Let's get authentic and real with Simon and Hallie.

How To Visualize Effectively To Manifest Any Goal
Visualization is an exceptionally powerful tool that you can use to create any dream that you wish. This is why so many high performing athletes use visualization as part of their routines, it is a way to rehearse the outcome that you want.  Athletes that use visualization include:  Michael Phelps Bianca Andreescu Phil Mickelson Jack Nicklaus Reggie  Jackson My question is if these athletes swear by visualization, and this is a tool that anyone can use, are you taking advantage of visualization to create the life that you desire? I first read about visualization nearly 30 years ago when I was given a book called "Psycho Cybernetics". In the book it talked about a study that was done over 20 days to improve 'free throw' accuracy with a basket ball. Group 1 - no practicing through 20 days. Group 2 - 20 minutes per day throwing free throws. Group 3 - 20 minutes per day visualizing free throws. The results? Group 1 - no changes at the end of the study. Group 2 - 24% improvement in accuracy. Group 3 - 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 20 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 23%!!!!!!! Today on Mindset Hackers I'll share with you the next level of visualization that is even more impactful than the way that is taught by most coaches.  I'll teach you why visualization alone (mental imagery) is not nearly as powerful as employing all 5 of your senses within your mind to make it feel more real, thus eliminating the mental resistance that you may have around creating the dreams that you desire.  Please subscribe to the Mindset Hackers Podcast and share with anyone that you may feel will resonate wit this episode because the more we can grow these topics, the more we can help transform lives.  Connect with me on LinkedIn at: Follow me on Instagram at:

Use The 4 Levels Of Gratitude To Level Up Your Happiness, Joy and Abundance
What does it take to be a Jedi Master of gratitude? In todays episode of Mindset Hackers I will discuss the 4 Levels Of Gratitude and how expanding your practice of gratitude will lead to more happiness, joy and abundance in your life. I've built a framework to help you see where you are and where you could be when it comes to practicing gratitude in your life.  I  will also share with you why a focus on gratitude can amplify your level of abundance because it helps your reticular activating system see the world with a different lens. Level 1 - passively grateful and not often thinking about gratitude, or aware of what it can do. It comes when it comes. Level 2 - awareness and adopting a mindfulness practice of seeking out things to be grateful for. Taking time each day to write down 3 things to be grateful for. Level 3 - (Jedi Knight level) Gratitude becomes hard wired in the brain, a perpetual state of gratitude. This is where I operate. I walk around and my mind is continually processing gratitude for everything around me, even things that I once categorized as 'bad'. Level 4 - (Jedi Master of Gratitude) this is where you no longer need 'something' or 'someone' to create the feeling of gratitude. You just are. Jedi Masters of Gratitude would be the ultimate masters of mindfulness like Deepak Chopra MD or The Dalai Lama. Gratitude is the doorway to happiness and joy, it gives perspective and dissolves comparison. What level of gratitude do you operate in? "Gratitude opens up the doorway to the power of wisdom and the creativity of the Universe" Deepak Chopra  "The roots of all goodness lie in the seeds of appreciation" The Dalai Lama Connect with me on LinkedIn at:

Unwiring Your Money Limiting Beliefs With Kirsten Granados - Founder Of Grow And Arrow Financial Consulting
Your beliefs around money have everything to do with your financial success later on in life.  When you were a child, in your most malleable state, you are absorbing your beliefs about life from the people and situations that you experience.  You are literally being programmed by your parents, by advertising, by your peers, even by the financial system. You were told to save, save, save. Kirsten and I agree that this teaches people to live in scarcity. To 'live within your means'.  True abundance is not living constricted, it is about expansion.  Kirsten and I talk about some of the things that we hear from our parents in our childhood that create our money blocks and money limiting beliefs. Kirsten also talks about Grow and Arrow, her financial consulting firm, where she not only advises financially but helps her clients remove money blocks and limiting beliefs around money, and you don't often find that.  Kirsten is also a master of using social media for marketing and she has used both LinkedIn and TikTok to create clients and expand her existing business.  We also talk about going 'against the grain' of the common money influencers like Suze Orman, David Bach and David Ramsey that tell you to cut up your credit cards, pay off debt and live within your means.  It's all about context.  She also coaches people how to tap into the organic growth of TikTok for business success. TikTok is not just an app for kids, it can be used by everyone.  You can connect with Kirsten here:

Why People Chase Success And End Up So Unhappy (And How To Make Sure That Doesn't Happen To You)
Today On Mindset Hackers we are going to be talking about what I call the Dopamine Treadmill, when you constantly chase the symbols of success and still end up so unfulfilled and unhappy in life and why that happens from a neuroscience perspective.  I'll also give 5 tips on how to let happiness, success and wealth coexist together.  Matthew McConaughey said it best in Wolf of Wall Street: "𝙄𝙩'𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙." "Come up with another brilliant idea. A 'Special idea'. Another stock to reinvest his earnings. And he will come back every single time. You keep them on the ferris wheel and keep it spinning, and spinning, and spinning." This is why there can be so much wealth co-existing with so much unhappiness, anxiety and depression. Dopamine is the 'molecule of more'. It's all very intentional. Social media 'likes'. The sugar. The salt. Wall Street. Madison Avenue. Las Vegas. Advertising. Dopamine is the reward seeking chemical and is highest when the payoff is unpredictable, and companies know how to leverage it. The cost of 'always chasing' is that it down regulates serotonin, the molecule of LOVE and being PRESENT, of SAVORING. This is why there are so many millionaires and billionaires that are so unhappy. But there are people who have it all and are happy, because they made 'the journey' the reward. Wealth and happiness CAN co-exist but you've got to stop chasing and embrace. Make sure to subscribe and please share this with someone who can use this message. In this podcast I mention David Goggins and how he makes 'embracing the suck' his reward. I'll leave this with a quote from David Goggins: "If you can get though the things that you hate, on the other side you will find greatness."

How Daylight Savings Time Changed The Course Of My Life
I know that's a bold statement but it's true, here's what happened: For my entire life, Fall DST was the day when you get an extra hour to sleep in! After a few days you start to normalize to the new schedule. In my days as a club promoter and DJ, it even meant an extra hour of partying, not to mention it often fell on Halloween night (the best clubbing night of the year). But in 2018 on DST, for just one day out of my life, I decided to keep that hour for my personal development instead of sleeping in. That extra hour was pure 'me' time, and put even in front of my workouts. This is how I pay myself first with time. I've now has 1000+ hours of meditation, reading books, listening to podcasts, journaling and visualization. My stress level is virtually non-existent, my happiness and joy are through the roof and my income is extremely abundant because of the opportunities that have unfolded. I only made the switch once and that hour has been mine ever since, and now I still get to sleep in an hour on DST! Check out this episode of Mindset Hackers where I talk about the importance of having a morning routine and I describe how much it can impact your life when those hours of YOU time add up.  Book recommends when it comes to Morning Routines: Hal Elrod - Miracle Morning & Miracle Equation Robin Sharma - The 5am Club  Join me on LinkedIn at: Find me on Instagram at:

Raise Your Frequency To Elevate And Influence Everyone Around You
Today on Mindset Hackers I am going to discuss the idea of 'raising your frequency' to bring up the energy level of those you interact with.  Imagine being able to walk into your next interview, teach a class or a coach, do your next sales call or presentation, be on a stage or on a podcast and come in with a transferrable energy that lifts others up and inspires.  Epic sales people know how to influence and inspire by what I call the 'Transfer of Enthusiasm'. Your energy level is completely transferable and you will be able to affect not only your own state, but the state of others, which can put them in a place where they are ready to take action. You know those people that you meet who just make you feel good when you are around them, they bring up the level of energy in a room, they know how to impact others, they influence those around them. You also know the people that are a buzzkill in a room and bring down the energy, and have the frequency of Zombie. Raising your own frequency and that of others isn't difficult to do, it just takes intention and use these 3 steps to make every interaction with others a more meaningful one.  Make sure to follow Mindset Hackers on YouTube for exclusive content.  Join me on my LinkedIn page at: Let's connect on Instagram at: As the great Tony Robbins says: "The quality of your life is the quality of your relationships".  Success is not about the amount of money you make, but the lives that you impact. The Only 2 Things You Need To Succeed
On this episode of Mindset Hackers we talk about the only 2 things that you need to succeed in sales, business, entrepreneurship or any other professional pursuit.  Before we start, I'd like to share my 4 mindset mantras that I say to myself every single day: Affirmation #1 - If they can do it, so can I. Affirmation #2 - I can figure this out. Affirmation #3 - I can go harder. Affirmation #4 -  I will do whatever it takes. Those four mindset mantras are painted above my shower so that every morning, above my cold shower, I see those as I embrace the cold. I thump my chest and I say those out loud and I prime my day to crush it with the momentum of a freight train. Then I start my day. Now back to the 2 things you need for success:  Knowledge & Action. Simple right? Not so much. It takes a strong person to seek out knowledge because as soon as you do, then the excuses start showing up in your mindset. We allow ourselves to believe that these are real limitations, but they are not, they are created by our mind to keep us in a safe place.  If you make it past the excuses, you need to start taking action with the knowledge that you have acquired and not just be a collector of knowledge.  If you like this episode please subscribe and share with anyone who you think would like to create a growth mindset and an abundance mindset.  Follow me on Instagram at: Connect with me on LinkedIn at: My goal is to create one of the top mindset podcasts in 2021 to serve you on the highest level! “Never make it be about the end result. Protect Your Sphere So That Nothing Negative Can Penetrate Your Mindset
Today’s episode of Mindset Hackers we will talk about the quote “You are the average of the 5 people that you spend the most time with” by the great mindset mentor and personal development guru, Jim Rohn. Jim is known as the godfather of personal development and was a mentor to Tony Robbins and so many other greats. As much as I love and respect the legend Jim Rohn, I completely disagree, but not in a bad way. Jim was right that spending time around the right people, or the wrong people, can massively impact how your success follows. The way I say it, you are actually the sum of EVERYONE that enters your sphere (your mindset, your environment), and this isn’t just people, but you are also the average of everything that you consume, such as the media, the music, the podcasts, the books, the shows, the news, the food and even your personal space. You are so valuable and your sphere is so worthy of being protected from people who will suck your energy or bring drama or negativity into your life. In this episode we discuss how people can be addicted to drama or negativity or to complaining. Your mindset is being impacted even by the people that don’t spend a lot of time with you, and that energy can be spent in other ways that help you move forward. Please make sure to share this Mindset Hackers episode with someone who can use this and I would be so very grateful for a review!  Connect with me on Instagram at: Connect with me on LinkedIn at: Visit my website and blog at: https//

When You Feel Like "It's Just Not Worth It"
Today let's talk about a very specific limiting belief, which is the voice in your head that tells you that 'It's just not worth it". A limiting belief is a story that your mind tells you to keep yourself 'safe' when you venture into new areas. Limiting beliefs are learned.  Limiting beliefs are untrue. Limiting beliefs hold you back.  A close friend of mine told me that he struggles with drive and motivation at the end of a long day of work, being a dad, working out and personal development and helping his kids with homework, how can he possibly have the energy to create a new business that will lead to a better life of fulfillment? He did a deep dive into the voice in his head that holds him back and realized that it tells him 'that it's just not worth it', so it makes it so hard to resist that voice and keep on going. In this episode, we break down some ways to overcome the voice that says 'it's not worth it', and I share examples of how I have had this come up in my own life. Your Wealth Is In Direct Proportion With Your Personal Development - Wealth Advisor Kevin Adleman
Wealth Advisor and former college football coach Kevin Adleman talks with me about how our financial system has set most people up to fail by teaching them to have a scarcity mindset because they teach you to scrimp and save, to live within your means until one magic day when you retire, then you need to live even more within those boundaries until you die.  Kevin Adelman discusses the importance of mindset, your subconscious and your personal development as it relates to financial wealth. He talks about Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Robert Kiyosaki, Warren Buffet and how they have shaped and influenced his life and career.  Kevin talks about his backstory where he breaks down to the point where he felt so lost, then found a Tony Robbins book that changes everything for him and allowed him to move from a scarcity to an abundance mindset and build a 7 figure business.  This is an absolutely powerful discussion about how Kevin helps teach his clients about scarcity and abundance mindset and how to move from once side to the other. We also discuss why human behavior and the our prehistoric roots have scarcity and fear built into us to keep us safe and in a tribe, and how those impulses no longer serve us. We also talk about money blocks in your mindset, the limiting beliefs around money, the subconscious mind, the blocks to abundance like jealousy or saying wealth people are lucky.  Make sure to leave us feedback on what hit home with you most.  Check out Kevin Adleman at:

There are several things you can do (and avoid) when wanting to create more abundance in life.  By abundance, I don't mean just money, but love, time, opportunity and more.  In this video, neuroscientist Kevin Bailey and I sit down and jam out about what I call "Abundance Facilitators" that turbo charge the feeling of having more than enough of what you need.   Abundance isn't a set amount of anything, it isn't a number in your bank account, it isn't a certain net worth, it isn't the amount you are making.  If you don't 'feel' like you have more than enough, then the amount of whatever you are seeking really doesn't matter.  Kevin and I both share our number 1 abundance facilitators.   Also make sure to check out my other podcast about 8 things that will cramp your style when it comes to living an abundant life. When you combine your abundance facilitators with letting go of the things that keep you from it, you'll see your world unfold in a different way!  Let's connect on LinkedIn at: Let's connect on Instagram at: You my friends are unlimited souls!

5 Ways To Create Mental Toughness with Ultra Runner Mark Robbins
Imagine being only 1/4 of the way through on your first 100 mile ultra marathon and you start to notice blisters forming on your feet. The skin is starting to chafe, burn and rub away, every step starts to become more painful. What do you do for the next 20+ hours and 75 miles? It's going to get a lot worse, but will you quit and save it for another day? Or will you tap into your #mindset and mental toughness reserves to make it through? I had the opportunity to interview ultra-runner Mark Robbins about is mindset and how he gets through events that can: - Last 30 hours or more, through the night with no sleep. - Elevation gains and losses that are equal to climbing/descending Mount Everest. - Can be in brutal weather with rain, mud and slippery terrain. We talk about mental toughness, perseverance, grit and more; and he gives 5 tips on cultivating mental strength that you can apply in small business, leadership or #sales. Slaying Imposter Syndrome with Hallie Avolio of the Sassy AF Audio Experience
This is a recording of a live group Zoom call with Hallie Avolio of the Sassy AF Audio Experience where we discuss imposter syndrome in depth. This isn't a webinar but an interactive chat where we take on questions, share stories and connect our audience with each other.    Imposter Syndrome is the feeling of 'who am I to do this'?  It's the feeling of 'what if people find out I'm a fraud...' even though you are perfectly capable.   It's the feeling of 'why would anyone listen to me'? Because you compare yourself to others that are better than you.   The good thing is most of us feel Imposter Syndrome to some degree, and it means you are pushing yourself into new areas.   We share stories, tips, and at the end I ask the audience to journal on the following questions:  1 - Are you going to let fear hold you back, or courage push you forward? (courage)   2- Are there people who know less about your topic or skill that you can help? (of course there are, more than you can handle)   3- What is the cost of opportunity if you don't pursue your greatness? (regret, income, fulfillment, growth)   4 - Are you being selfish by keeping your talents to yourself? (yes you are, share them)   5- What type of person will you become if you go down this path? (a bad ass)   6- Is your imposter syndrome real or perceived? (perceived) "What I was able to attend was fantastic. ❤️ Great job! I love your energy!" Margie C.  "Your zoom meeting was fantastic. I so appreciate you’re letting me attend." Joyce T. "Tonight's jam session was AWESOME." Amy P.  "I was so grateful to be a part of tonight's session.  Thanks again for making me feel so welcome." Joy H.

Every Single Penny and Every Single Person
I found a penny the other day and told my boy to come get it and put it in his bank. He sat there, playing video games, without looking up, said "it's ok dad, you can have it". I said, "I can have it? I just offered you money dude"? "Dad it's only a penny" he said. "Only a penny?" I asked, with the curt 'dad' tone in my voice... Click on play to hear the rest of the story, this is a heart warming example of something that we can teach all of our kids, how to have respect for not only money but people, no matter who they are.

The massive opportunity for small business owners on LinkedIn
"LinkedIn has crossed the chasm into Facebook territory, where you can literally do anything." Gary Vaynerchuk   This is a live Zoom call I did with several small business owners, coaches, instructors and people interested in the organic growth of LinkedIn.   We talked about the changes LinkedIn has been making to a content delivery platform and why there is so much opportunity for small business (including coaches, instructors, creatives, fitness professionals, etc.).   "Like if you sell puppies, or ice cream, or candles, or T-shirts, or have a club–you can have a LinkedIn presence. Same if you’re a financial advisor, a lawyer, or you’re trying to sell concrete to a B2B executive. I genuinely believe they all can play." Gary continues.   The biggest question is about engagement and how to get your posts seen. There are so many individuals with a vast network and not much engagement when they post, I share the formula for how to create engagement.    I also asked a wide range of questions sent in from colleagues who could not be on the call, questions like 'is it OK to post personal content'. We also had Judy Horton sharing statistics in regards to LinkedIn as well as information about the value of having Business Pages on LinkedIn.

Self Love, Confidence, Authenticity - (Interview) Real Conversations with Sheri St Marie & Simon Parsons
In this interview I go deep with Sheri St. Marie on becoming aligned with your true self, self love, confidence and how to lean into the voice that is holding you back. We talk about the forces that influence us from childhood and create limiting beliefs, and how the #1 regret of the dying is 'not living a life that is true to myself'. We get into some great practices on how powerful it is to be more authentic and vulnerable, as well as how social media gives us a platform to lean into our insecurities.   #selflove #selfimage #confidence

Crush your day by starting out with massive momentum
Do you hit the snooze button in the morning 3 times before you get up? Then peel yourself out of that nice and comfy bed, at the expense of running behind? I heard a quote from Rachel Hollis that said: "If you hit the snooze button, you are breaking a promise to yourself before you even open your eyes. Ouch! But I like it!  If you choose option B, to wake up and control your alarm, instead of the alarm controlling you, you have had your very first one of the day as the first thing you do. This sets the tone for the day.  In this episode, I'll give you the behind the scenes on my morning routine that allows me to CRUSH my day and makes it so hard to get derailed.  Let me know if you have a morning ritual or morning routine and what it looks like.  Take care my friends!

The more you sweat in training, the less you bleed in battle
They say "The more you sweat in training, the less you bleed in battle." 2018 & 2019 I did a hell of a lot of training, and although I didn't know 2020 would be a battle, it was good to be well prepared, especially mentally. Two or so years ago I decided to dedicate 2+ hours of both mental and physical training, every day. It was more of an experiment based on 'what would my life look like' if I got exceptionally disciplined with mindset rituals. Physical training was the easy part because I've always done that. Meditation, mindfulness, focus & flow state, stress management, cold showers, detaching from outcomes, visualization, breath work. I also spent an immense amount of time learning about how the brain works and how thoughts create emotions which create behaviors which create outcomes. I didn't know it, but I was creating an arsenal of tools that I could use in battle. Maybe I shouldn't say 2020 was the battle, because it could be so much worse, but at the very least it was a good stress test. What I learned is there is no question that spending time training your mind will be to your advantage in both good times and bad. If 2020 kicked your ass, now is the time to start training your mind. Same thing if it didn't.

We are not average unless we choose to be average
I grew up thinking I would have an average life, meaning I thought I would be just 'getting by'. I thought I would  have a mediocre job, probably in manufacturing since I didn't like school. I thought I would have an average marriage. I thought I would have an average list of things I made happen in my life. I thought I would have an average income. Nothing could be further from the truth. I was lucky enough to get a job at the Salt Lake Country Club which changed my paradigm. I saw people who lived life bigger than average, and there is no difference between them, you or I; other than how we see ourselves and what we believe we are capable of.  I challenge you to start thinking bigger, and surrounding yourselves with others who think bigger. I am not average, you are not average, unless that is what we choose to be.

Let's get comfortable being uncomfortable.
Welcome to my first Podcast Episode! A year ago I would have never imagined doing a podcast, and that is precisely why I am doing one right now. I love to do things that make me uncomfortable. Talking into a microphone instead of a person in front of me makes me incredibly uncomfortable. But how much growth comes from being uncomfortable?  If you do the same things every day, you have the same feelings, and the same emotions, and then you have the same results. If you have the same results, you are essentially living in the past.  I am also doing a podcast because I realize it's always hardest in the beginning, and you have to work at anything to get good at it. So by starting a podcast, I'm giving myself something new to start on and get better at, instead of shying away. I know how easy it is to quit. One of my mentors told me that the average 'podcaster' quits after 7 episodes. You can be successful in most things if you simply don't quit, because others will fall away, while you get better.  Lastly, I have a message to share with you, and I want to play a bigger game WITH you. Let's do it my friends!
