I feel like every job has its own kind of stereotypes, and I mine is not an exception to the rule. I am a librarian and I hear the same stereotypes over and over, which leads me to that post. I want to share with you 3 things that librarians actually do not do, in order for you to have a clearer idea of the things we actually do. Are you ready? Go!

Sometimes, I just feel like it is important to set quick reminders here. I tend to share very practical tips, but today, I only and simply want to remind you one little tiny thing: you do not have to do what you do not want to do. Okay, that is written, I may stop here. We are totally in that time of the year in which lots of students start their internship (me included) and I thought it would be cool to discuss that "how to balance internship and academic work" thing together. Of course, I know there are schools that set you free from whole academic work before the start of the year's internship but not every school does that (and mine definitely does not). I do not know about you but as an avid reader, one of my biggest struggles is to find books for relatively cheap. I know that I can't be the only one to spend way too much money on books and thus today, I have decided to share with you the ways I do save money when it comes to buying books. Depending on your country, you may also look for the cheapest books but in France (as in many other countries), books are considered a "cultural good" and thus, their price is set in stone. That means that one bookseller can't sell a book cheaper than his neighbour, in the limit of a discount of 5% (nonetheless, the problem remains when it comes to eBooks). Are you ready?

Which book lover has never dreamt of working at their local library? But what is it really like? How much work is it? Let me take you with me in a “typical” (do such things exist?) day in my life at the library!

As you probably know, March is the month of Middle Grades and as you probably know as well, Middle Grades are my favorites! For those of you who do not know, Middle Grades are basically the books dedicated to children aged 8 to 14, but they are totally suitable to adults as well! I love Middle Grades because I find them both wholesome and smart. Middle Grades always tackle big questions in a beautiful way and allow the reader to spend a refreshing time while really getting to think about the toughest topics. "Middle Grade March" is basically a way to consider that March is the month of Middle Grades ; such an excuse for fans like me to read a bunch of them...
